Casa Ensueno, Palmilla, Suite vista al mar, San José del Cabo

Hemos estado viniendo a Cabo por más de 25 años y encantó la estancia en el hotel Palmilla y Cabo San Lucas. Esta casa nos recordó de esas Grande Suites de estilo clásico. Fue construido como una de las primeras casas de la primera promoción privada en Palmilla, y con sólo 30 casas, que era de Don Koll (propietario de Palmilla) opción para construir tres de sus propios hogares cerca. Una de las tres playas sólo se puede nadar en todos Cabo. Incluso Villa Del Mar tiene que llegar a Palmilla Cove para nadar. Se puede caminar a la única flota pesquera entre Cabo y San José. Si amas a una gran casa grande, golf, natación, pesca, le encantará nuestra casa. Nos gustaría compartir con usted. No hay despedidas de soltero o interruptores de primavera de la universidad. Esta es una casa de alquiler la familia y amigos. Por favor trate de esa manera. También amar a nuestro personal que nos han sido durante muchos años, y nuestro director, que de nueva construcción de nuestra villa. Bienvenido

Loved our time at Palmilla!

This is the most beautiful neighborhood and this property does not disappoint. Very private, with separate outside entrances to each bedroom. Views are spectacular. We loved the quiet and beautiful beach with close proximity to the One and Only. Fantastic property. Great value. Bob was easy to communicate with and very responsive.

FABULOUS!

Wonderful traditional hacienda style home with amazing views and location in Palmilla Norte. Walk to the beach in one minute. Great pool and wonderful layout of rooms in the home. Excellent staff and owner had superb resources for us, golf, chefs, fishing etc... We had an amazing time and loved every minute. great value, location and the weather was perfct.

A fantastic experience in every way

Casa Ensueno was the perfect location for this gathering for my 60th birthday. We had 6 couples and a single guest, and the house was perfect. Bob the owner was responsive and accommodating in every way especially when we had some late departures due to flight changes. In addition, the chef, bartender, and spa staff were phenomenal. we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended!

A dream vacation

Our stay at Casa Ensueno was indeed a "dream". The house was lovely and well appointed. It's location was great with wonderful views over the water and access to a lovely quiet beach. What stood out as well was the group of people we dealt with. The owner and the property manager were responsive and helpful. The housekeeper was lovely. And, others who worked on the property were cheerful and respectful. I can't imagine a much better experience.

Palmilla Paradise

This home was great for our party of 12. Th views of the ocean and golf course were magnificent. 5 of the bedroms are huge w/ views of the ocean. The main living areas are large and very comfortable. The owner and property mgr could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Bob and Jorge even had a maid to come and clean 4 hours a day. Making our beds and doing dishes. We would love to go back.

Palmilla Paradise

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left we felt totally at home. Everyone from the owner to the housekeeper and manager were incredibly helpful and accommodating. We were a group of 10 ranging from 6 months to 70 - with plenty of room to spread out! The best part for us -with the twin 8 year old boys- was the quick and easy walk to the beautiful, swimmable beach. The pool and hot tub area with the views are amazing to hang out all day. The sunrises are incredible as is the whale watching right off shore. So many amenities included - all the chairs, towels, umbrellas, bathrobes in every room, daily housekeeping, music system, basketball court, workout equipment, etc. The neighborhood is gated and an easy walk to the One and Only or the Shops at Palmilla. We have stayed at Villas Del Mar in the past but this beach access is worth it for sure. The extra bonus is the owner Bob - he was so responsive and helpful -especially when we ran into travel issues due to ice storm in Dallas! This is the perfect house and location - you won’t find a better place to stay. We hope to return next year!

Great location!

Our family of 9 stayed at Casa Ensueno for one week and had a marvelous time! What we loved most about this property (aside from the location, pool, and hot tub) was the set up. Each bedroom had its own external entrance so the living area and kitchen was "separate" enough that if people stayed up late or woke up early and gathered in the common space it did not disturb anyone else who was sleeping. The house manager, Jorge, was very responsive; the housekeeper was pleasant and thorough, and everything was in good condition. We had three meals prepared by Rogelio (Oscar is the owner) and they were are favorite meals of the trip. Three members of our party went on a fishing expedition and the catering team was able to use what they caught for two of our dinners (and made other items as well since not everyone wanted fish all the time). The team arrived two hours (at least) to prep and cleaned up everything to perfection. The house has a decent amount of stairs so I would caution anyone with bad hips or knees to keep this in mind. One member of our family recently had hip surgery and it wasn't really a problem as long as someone assisted her a little bit, but it wasn't too bad. Some minor issues (outside lighting not working) were handled within hours of texting Jorge.

Simply fabulous!

Casa Ensueno is a property that is hard to beat. The pristine beach, warm water, white sand. While I have stayed in many villas while traveling abroad, this was by far my favorite. We were a family of 9 adults ranging in age from 30's to 60's from the San Francisco Bay Area, celebrating my retirement. We had a blast, only leaving the villa for one dinner out, (Flora Farms..not to be missed) and shops @ Palmilla for fun browsing and groceries at the lovely California Market. The villa had all the amenities one could need. Extremely well stocked from every small necessity to larger unexpected indulgences, as if it were your own home. There is a sound system throughout the interior main living/gathering space, as well as outside patio/pool that we paired our phones to listen to our music playlist via Spotify which enhanced the mood and vacation vibe. The views from all bedrooms is incredible and the unique separation and private entrance to each room, makes it seem like your own personal retreat. The rooms are large, beds super comfy, and each room has double sinks, huge roman style tiled tubs/shower, large closets, sliders to private patio or balcony, each equal in luxury, so no coin toss needed for the better room! Margarita the housekeeper is there daily with smile, to clean, tidy and refresh all bed linens, towels etc., all while keeping a low profile, so you hardly know she's there. The guys played golf a few times at "Puerto Los Cabos" set up by Osmar the pro shop Manager, whom arranged everything...Tee times, transportation. He really took great care of the guys to ensure they had a fun experience. We have a chef or two among our family, which made meals, appetizers and Happy Hour an event in itself. I know it is not a common luxury to have a family member (my sister) along who has such a passion for cooking and being in the kitchen during a vacation, but we are lucky, and she made it look effortless while still having time to relax and join in all the fun, never missing a beat. Jack the owners son, was also amazing throughout the entire experience from beginning to end. He lives locally, and was a key ingredient in making sure we had all the contact sources for staff, house manager, transportation, medical info, chef services if desired, etc. Jorge the house Manager, had an incredible spread of food waiting, when we arrived which was pleasingly unexpected. Many memories made here, many more to come. Simply splendid!

Views galore!

The views in this Palmilla Norte Hacienda are out of this world. Five of the bedrooms, and the whole living space look out to sweeping ocean views. You are also practically on the beach since the opening to the golf course is on the Arroyo which extends to the beach. There is plenty of living space for a large family and friends, and there are numerous outdoor spaces. I particularly like the outdoor gym and pool combo. The property is located on one of the most swimmable beaches in all of Cabo. You can also go for very long walks down the beach. We would gladly come back!

Location, location, location

My husband and I have been coming to Cabo since before we were married. Over the years we have stayed at Esperanza, One and Only, Las Ventanas, and rented houses in Pedregal, but after our week with our 3 kids and my in-laws, this house is hands down the best location to date. Swimmable beach w/in walking distance, privacy and flexibility of private home, short golf cart ride to restaurants and stores, easy neighborhood to go for run or walk and completely safe to keep house unlocked all day long. We loved our stay at Casa Ensueño! The house is the quintessential Mexican style beach house, so it’s not the new construction, modern look, which to us made everything feel much more relaxing. Get to the beach either by taking golf cart to gated beach entrance around the corner from the house or short walk down stairs to the side of the house and then alongside the the golf hole. Plenty of umbrellas, chairs and beach toys available for guest use. We had a chef come a few nights (Chef Tez was great!) and had a couple meals out as well. Used Cabo Adventures for some family activities, too. Great spring break week for the whole family (kids aged 7, 10 and 12 and adults from 44-75).

Fantastic Home in Palmilla

Casa Ensueno was a wonderful home for a family vacation. My family and I have been staying in Palmilla for 10 years and this was our favorite rental. We had a group of 9 - 4 adults and 5 kids - and there was plenty of space, the layout of the house is fantastic. The pool, distance to the beach, and amenities available made this a wonderful place to spend a week. Jorge was extremely responsive, Margarita did an amazing job cleaning, and the pool/gardening staff was quick and unobtrusive. I would absolutely book this house again

A perfect house for a group of adult guests!

We rented Casa EnSueño for a group of 12 adults venturing manager down from Orange County California to Cabo for my 50th birthday celebration. Primarily couples with a few single adults, this house was perfect. The amenities were plentiful: a clean infinity pool, a large hot tub with an amazing view, and A Bluetooth sound system to add ambience! The kitchen was well equipped, there are lots of indoor and outdoor dining options , and the entertainment areas included games and televisions. Not to mention that the house is situated in a perfectly located, safe, gated neighborhood just minutes outside of San Jose, convenient to many stores and restaurants. We would definitely book this house again! The property manager provided an abundance of information well in advance of our stay that helped us to set up an ideal time in Cabo San Lucas. This was a vacation to remember!

Lives the House and Beach!

My wife and I rented the house with our 5 kids (2 of them married) and a grandchild. We had a WONDERFUL time with the incredible views, the easy access to a gorgeous beach, a fun private pool and a great hot tub. The location is super safe in a pretty gated neighborhood. Easy access to San Jose Del Cabo. Will definitely return!

Cabo Superlative!

Everything about our stay at Casa Ensueno was perfection! The view can't be beat - we loved how the rooms were separated with some outside entrances. Lots of "toys" - even an indoor basketball court (halfcourt) in garage downstairs. Beautiful flowers - and we loved the iron lighting, mexican tile and other design details. Short walk to the beach. For a family here for a Cabo wedding it could not have worked better.

Amazing location, Villa and Staff

The Villa is better than the photos, clean and all the amenities. Tons of items to use for beach and pool was awesome. The staff was there to clean each day, prep food if you need it and the commutation with host was great. We rented a golf cart to go to the market and coffee shop, just .5 miles and highly recommend. Also they hooked us up with driver Juan who got us around at reasonable fee. Overall 5 stars!

Fabulous location & private swimmable beach

We spent 8 glorious days with 3 generations of family. The pool & hot tub were the perfect gathering spot. We were steps from the swimmable Palmilla beach. Everyone had a blast! Margareta, Jack & Jorge were wonderful and made our stay better than we could have hoped. We rented a boat the 1st day and caught 3 yellow tail tuna. We headed into San Jose for the art walk and Margherita crawls. Highly recommend!!!!

Post-Christmas Getaway

The house and its location within the Palmilla Norte area are fabulous. We loved the ocean views, the outdoor staircases and the terraced levels. The house was spotless on arrival, and we appreciated a warm greeting with quesadillas and margaritas. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils for cooking in, and one night we arranged for an authentic Mexican dinner to be cooked for us, together with the catch of the day from our fishing trip. Daily walks on the nearby beach and the golf course were a highlight. New Year’s Eve was topped off with a fireworks show from a nearby property. We had two families of five, from ages 19-53, and everyone loved this property and this vacation. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing this incredible spot on VRBO.

We live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and we have been coming to Cabo for 40 years and have owned Ensueno for 20 years. We have traveled extensively and have always come back to the lovely weather and people of Cabo.

We chose this home because of location, location, location. Palmilla Norte is an island inside of an island inside of an island. Cabo itself is an island 110 miles off the coast of Mexico and 900 miles of two lane road to the US. Palmilla is an island within Cabo. Norte is an island within Palmilla.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The oversized pool, spa, and outdoor wet bar overlook one of the most spectacular views in all of Cabo. Unlike direct oceanfront with its 180 degree view of water, we have a Portofino-type combination direct view of ocean, beach, golf course, and the mansions of Caleta for 24/7 changing view. Morning brings the sunrise over Punta Gorda, the eastern tip of Baja. Night provides a totally different view as the Caleta mansions and pools light up and their multiple fire pits are lit.
