We'd love for you to be our guests at birdsong cottage - a magical, whimsical home designed for the whole family, furry friends included! From the chef's kitchen, to the fire-pit, to the cozy back porch featuring a slide for the kids and huge fenced in backyard, you'll have everything you need for an epic mountain getaway. Located just minutes from Lake Junaluska, the golf course and downtown Waynesville, you'll have access to everything while enjoying the spacious privacy of this property.

There are multiple hangout areas at Birdsong Cottage - play board games or watch a movie in the living room, relax with an evening drink on the back porch while the kids play in the fenced yard, or make s'mores at the fire-pit by the beautiful creek. Use the gas grill to make dinner and enjoy alfresco dining on the back porch. Take in the birdsong with your morning cup of coffee.



The master bedroom features a comfy king size bed, large flat screen smart TV, and an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks. All rooms have darkening shades and curtains for sleeping late.



The second bedroom has a queen size bed and shares a detached bathroom with the third bedroom.



The third bedroom has two twin beds, perfect for the kids. One extra fun feature of this house is the slide off the back porch, which enters the fenced in back yard!



If you bring your dog with you, food and water bowls are provided, just remember to bring your doggie bags for the back yard.

The Neighborhood:

This property is in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood 2 minutes from the Lake Junaluska golf course and 5 minutes from Lake Junaluska. The cottage overlooks the #17th hole of the golf course and is framed by creeks and trees. There is a beautiful walk you can enjoy around the lake. There are kayaks, canoes and paddle boards available for rent and a pool to swim in at the lake. There is a bike path you can connect to at the main road. Downtown Waynesville and all its cute shops and restaurants are 10 minutes away. The ski mountain lifts (Cataloochee) are 27 minutes away.



Nearby hiking in Great Smoky Mountain National Park can be accessed in 20 minutes. The bustling town of Asheville is 29 minutes away. Cherokee resort and casino is 35 minutes away. So many fun things to do right in this area! See our guidebook for specific recommendations or send us a message.



Getting Around:

You need a car to get around the area. Some uber/taxi is available.



Other Things to Note:

Pet Policy:

Only dogs are permitted at this property. A maximum of two dogs are allowed, each under 50 lbs. No other animals or pets of any kind are permitted. Dogs must be leashed outdoors at all times and are not allowed on furniture or beds. All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional cleaning fees or removal from the property.
