K0135 Roundabout Resort. Piscina privada, jacuzzi, MASCOTAS OK!

Esta casa de campo ofrece un poco de algo para todo el mundo. Una piscina con burbujas (con calor de la piscina libre a principios de primavera y otoño), una bañera de hidromasaje que está abierto todo el año y un montón de terrazas cerca de la piscina. Hay dos miradores sobre la propiedad. Uno alberga la bañera de hidromasaje para que pueda ser utilizado con lluvia o sol y el otro se encuentra en la zona de la piscina para dar sombra adicional (y para disfrutar de un aperitivo)! Hay toneladas de envoltura alrededor de las cubiertas y terrazas para disfrutar de todo lo que ofrece la Outer Banks. La zona de la piscina está cercado, por lo que es muy privado. El Roundabout Resort cuenta con dos cocinas totalmente equipadas con 2 estufas / hornos, 2 microondas, cafetera Keurig y cafetera estándar, ¡y es perfecta para vacaciones en dos familias!

Para aquellos que quieran jugar voleibol y pasear a su familiar de cuatro patas, el patio es muy espacioso (ambos lotes en cada lado de la propiedad son propiedad del dueño de la propiedad y están disponibles para su uso). El acceso a la playa se encuentra a 10 minutos a pie de la cabaña, y para aquellos que no quieran caminar, hay estacionamiento disponible en el acceso a la playa. ¡A los niños les encantará tener tablas de boogie en el hogar para su uso en la playa!

Had to buy all new sheets, pillow cases, towels, wash cloths, dish towels ,toilet paper, dead flies all in the windows and dead bugs all over the floors the furniture was either torn and wore out and stained up

The house is very old and in need of updates/repair. The home was not clean. We found trash in dresser drawers, chewed gum on window sills and a dustpan full of dog hair stored in a closet. The air return vent was visably dirty, thick with debris. Grateful for the laundry so we could wash everything. The pool area is small and in poor condition. The home was to accomodate 12 people but the home and outdoor space was to small for all us. The wooden chairs on the patio were broken and gave splinters. The dining table under the paviollion had no cushions and the chipping paint stuck to your body every time you sat on the uncomfortable chairs. Lightbults were burnt out, sofa cushions stained and ripped. The rec room which does have a pool table does not have much more than that. The location was not ideal. You are right on the main road, N Croatan Hwy, so the traffic level is very loud and cars pull into the front of the house at high speeds. The beach is 'walking' distance and easy for an adult. It's a bit far for younger children. Our four kids were ages 4-7 and it was a bit of a haul for them. The yard is full of ant hills, cactus and burs so use extra caution wiith walking your dog in the yard. The play ground is in bad shape - there is a thick sticky residue all over the swing chains. Overall we were very disappointed in this home. It was small, dated, in need of repair, and not well cleaned. Would not recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall a good experience. However,the property was dated and not completely as described in the pictures. i.e the pool area, electrical outlet not working, light bulb burned out, different types of light bulbs in bathrooms, etc.

Not bad for late season

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything worked out ok but the overall state of the place could be improved upon. The general cleanliness was ok, there were some stains on pillows etc and a lot of sand in the place but that's not unexpected. All together it worked out fine. Deck and pool area both need updated woodwork. Pool lights are on the fritz. Amenities in the kitchen, bathrooms, et were fine and there were no bugs inside.

Not worth the price.

Went to use oven down stairs it still had oven cleaner in it. Pool lights did not work. Jet in the jacuzzi tub was dirty with black stuff. Curtains rod hanging out of the wall. Upstairs out side decking boards felt like we was going to fall threw them. The outside stairs to go up are loose.get rid of pool table and put couch downstairs.not enough room to play pool.

Reviewer Comments: Requested grass to be cut on Monday so we could use the playground and volleyball net. Light in dining room had problems. I called again on Wed. to find out what was going on.They showed up Fri afternoon, and were told that the owners had to make arrangements for the grass to be cut. We were leaving the following morning. Mold and mildew in bathrooms.Previous experience here was wonderful in 2008. This time, it wasn't worth it. We couldn't fully use what we paid for. I could go on, but why bother.

Nice house/Needs work

The house has a great setup. There are 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen on each floor. The pool is a good size, but needs to be resurfaced. Deck boards and stairs have loose spots and all the boards should be replaced. Gas grill was not usable due to burners rusted out. There are 2 charcoal grills on the property and only 1 was usable due to the grates being rusted. These items were reported to the property management company (Beach Realty) through the app that was recommended. There was no response or repair. The location was great for us. Public Beach access is only a couple of blocks away and it is an easy walk. There are no hotels or public parking around, so the beach in this area was never crowded. The house is walking distance to Jimmy's Seafood, Shipwrecks, and Bad Bean Baja Grill. Be careful crossing the road to Shipwrecks and Bad Bean. I never had a problem, I just needed to be patient. Booking process was deceptive. After filling out the VRBO application and paying deposits, accidental damage insurance, linen fee, and travel insurance, Beach Realty sent a separate link and application. This application mirrored VRBO and asked about travel insurance. Beach Realty did not notify that their travel insurance was separate from VRBO, so I bought 2 policies. Beach Realty advised that VRBO does not relay travel insurance information to them. Even if this is true, they should have a notice on their application that this is separate from VRBO

House has Potential

A lot of my complaints are the same as other people that have stayed there. 1. trash in the yard 2. weeds and piles of leaves in and around the pool area 3.Upper deck unsafe-boards pop up when walked on and nails sticking up 4.Pool had patches of concrete missing 5. Tubs in house needed work and grout had mold 6. grass was knee high 7. HOUSE WAS DIRTY Not sure who cleaning company is but they do a terrible job. We've stayed in other houses and I've never given a bad review. I will not be staying here again.

Definitely won't be back to this house

It was very tight for all of us to have room. The house was very dirty, we cleaned it when we got there because we had a crawler and a toddler. Dog hair all over floors, dog food in closets, empty water bottles and a condom wrapper found. The house needs alot of work. The door on the outside shower fell off and we had a leak from the upstairs bath to the downstairs bath. We reported it on our first day but no-one came to fix it.

Every single thing you could ever want is there for you. The free heated pool Thanksgiving week was sublime as was the super clean hot tub. The dogs loved having the upper deck to romp on in-between beach runs, 2 blocks away. HIGHLY Recommend!

Fleas in the house

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pool and jacuzzi were wonderful!! The only problem we really had was that there were fleas. I have many bites on my legs and saw them in my room. Unfortunately brought at least one home with me too. They need to bug bomb the place. Location isn't great because it's right on the road. Traffic was so loud and seemed to go on all night. There was also dog poop found in at least one room. If they fix the cleanliness issues it would be a really good place for a big group. Plenty of seating and beds. Would recommend if those issues were resolved.

Not all as it's billed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: the owners of the house clearly don't believe in the motto less is more. Everyone said the exact same thing about the house. There is "stuff" everywhere. Not one bit of bit of wall space uncovered. There's a hutch upstairs that sticks out into the walkway to the bedrooms that turns it into a single lane road. I've read another review about the furniture being too big for the house, it is. And old, and worn out. The wife is 110lbs and even she sunk into it-not in a good way. Ooh! The beds. The listing on BeachRealty says queens, BIG FAT LIE. There are five doubles, not a queen size is sight. While likely the newest update to the house I hope that you and your partner are Lilliputians. You need too be if you want any space. In summary the house is convenient to where it's located, the pool is nice but it's like being at your grandmothers house with sooo much stuff everywhere.

Great house

The only draw back is the street the house is on does not go directly to the beach, you have to walk an extra block to get there, not a big deal overall, but it would have been more difficult if we'd had more children with us. Otherwise, it was a great house, very clean, check in and check out went quickly and smoothly.

Coleman's Roundabout Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, this house was great for 2 families. Had a good amount of room. The pool was nicely heated and the Jacuzzi was great for cool evenings. The house was in the heart of Kitty Hawk which was great. Now to the down sides. The furniture was extremely dated. Mismatched and very uncomfortable. The rooms were small because there was so much HUGE dated furniture in them. The internet (wifi) only worked upstairs and by day three of our week, the cable was not working. The house is located right beside a busy section of highway (Croatan Hwy). Relaxing by the pool was nearly impossible during the day. We had to call maintenance to come and clean the pool halfway through the stay because birds sit on the power lines directly above the pool. No bird deterrence around. One side of the Jacuzzi did not have jets working. Therefore, we had to alternate sides to enjoy.

Coleman's Roundabout AWESOME

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised with the space throughout the house. There is a lot of décor that takes up extra space but plenty of room for large groups. The pool and hot tub area is large with plenty of seating area around the deck and even more on the wrap around deck upstairs. The access to the beach was about a 10 minute walk, but if you have s lot to take with you there is a beach access with parking less than a half mile away to help you out. If there is one downside it would be the vehicle noise from bypass road, still not bad though and you do not notice it inside the house. This house is definitely worth the money and we have already talked about staying here again in the future.

Will not rent this cottage again

The grass was high around the cottage with old grass clippings scattered throughout. Weeds have grown through the concrete around the pool. The front porch light along with multiple indoor lights were out upon arrival so I called and someone came out and ONLY changed the front porch light bulb. They also had to get us a new shower curtain because it was covered in mold, and they had to spray and knock down the 4 wasp nests that were covered with eggs. The upstairs deck is missing multiple wooden slats so we were not able to let our toddler out there. Overall the cottage did not look like it was cleaned very well. I did use the vacuum, which obviously had not been emptied in years

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: love the the shape of the house and the way the house was laid out the way it was taken care of i think maid service needs to be replaced as well as maintenance crew and lawn care grass had not been cut in forever and everyone around us had carpet in one room had to be shampooed 2 times in 1 day so we could sleep in it smelled so bad of pet urine pool furniture is broken and was all trowed in a corner grill was nasty inspection doesn't do their job broken umbrellas in the back yard with grass growned over them

Roundabout Spring Break 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were very happy with this rental but it had a few minor issues. The pump to the pool kept breaking so the pools levels would change and the temp would not stay consistent. Also there were nails and screws found outside but the pool area. The two primary showers were very small. We were traveling in a large group and the space was really nice. The kitchen was large and able to hold us all. The house was close to the beach but you did have to walk further than we initially thought and the house was right next to a very busy road. You could hear traffic all night long.

Nice house needs some TLC

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the house was nice. Eating area is not near big enough for the amount of people that can stay at the house. We chose not to use the bar seating because the chairs were unsafe. Bedrooms are way to crowed with dressers. The house is being sold and we had realtors show up twice during our stay to show the house. (communication issues between people for sure) Upstairs refrigerator needs replaced bad. Called 1st day for maintenance issue, they came Thursday to look at it. Outside area is nice. The pictures are definitely deceiving on sizes. Hopefully the new owners will put some work into it and make it better. We used the app however messages would not show up for hours after they were sent. (ex. we got notification of trash day the day after it was picked up. Check out process needs updated. We received information on how to check out hours after we left and only minutes before checkout time.

The roundabout resort

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we had a nice stay! We really liked the location, the layout of the house, love the roundabout design, the house was pretty clean, the staff and maintenance crew were awesome and very quick to respond to a couple of things that needed repair, and ❤ pet friendly!! There were, however, a couple of things we were unhappy about. The grass was knee high and should've been mowed, I have small dogs, it was not fun for them to potty in knee high grass😢 The ants were not pleasant either, the traps were there, however, they were still present, and an upgraded refrigerator upstairs might be nice. We stayed at this property with friends about 6 years ago; we overall love this place! Thank you for a great vacation!
