Tranquil getaway in Shelter Island with private beach access. Modern, bright home newly decorated by top design firm is a 2 min drive or 30 min walk from Crescent/ Sunset Beach, the Pridwin, Leon. Near Wades Beach, Shelter Island Heights.
House officially has 3 bedrooms, but the finished basement effectively acts as a 4th bedroom. House has central a/c, multiple decks & outdoor spaces to relax and dine, and is fully equipped with new grill, cookware, appliances, beach chairs & towels
Private beach is ideal for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or sunset drinks at a picnic table.

We're new homeowners as of May 2024, but fell in love with Shelter Island after renting there for 4 straight summers. We love to relax at the beach, play golf, go on boats, go for runs/bikerides around the island, eat out at the amazing restaurants in the area, and host bbqs.

Shelter Island is the best! It's the right mixture of laid-back and high-end, without being conceited. There are so many great beaches (explore a bunch of them: Crescent/Sunset beach, Wades beach, Manhaden & more), great restaurants (e.g. Leon, Vine Street Cafe), coffee shops, activities, and sights.
Our specific neighborhood is called HarborView Acres and is quiet enclave of three streets & about 20 houses that each share ownership of a nice beach & dock area on West Neck bay, a 3 minute walk from our house. You can relax, swim, boat, paddleboard, kayak, fish & host a bbq/bonfire from there.

Our house is uniquely & naturally bright with a very open and tall foyer entryway that is immediately inviting. All 3 bedrooms are on the second level, with a large master suite equipped with a king-size bed and large, private porch. There are a total of 5 beds, including a queen-sized sofa bed in the newly-refinished basement. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen with all new pots & appliances, an indoor dining area, a screened-in outdoor dining area, 2 very large decks with a new grill and deck furniture, and a living room with a flatscreen tv, kids play area & fireplace.
We offer all the beach supplies you'll need in our one-car garage.
