What a view! Great heated pool. Full closet of beach equipment (towels/chairs/sand toys). Plenty of kitchen equipment. Beds were comfortable. Adequate number of towels. Management was easily accessible. A few non-working lights/loose faucet were addressed next day. Would stay again!

Beach Getaway

Place was perfect, great location near lifeguard and on no drive section of the beach. Pool was awesome too!! Kids LOVED the Marsh Rabbits running around and the 2 friendly tortoises were quit a hit!! Will stay here again soon!!

Back again

My family stayed here years ago and came back again this year with the next generation. I am happy to say that Shorehom By The Sea is still as wonderful as it was 20 years ago. Beautiful site, excellent amenities and great for families.

A short but very nice stay

Good location, beautiful view, nicely decorated and comfortable. We didn’t cook much but the kitchen seemed reasonably well-stocked. Easy communication with Florida Vacay. Recommend.

You can tell this condo is well maintained. Many extra touches that made our stay enjoyable. I loved the thoughtfulness of the starter kit.

Wonderful beach vacation

My husband and I planned this vacation with our 3 kids under the age of 10. We wanted a location close to the beach. This place was amazing. We had private access to the beach that was never crowded and it was local to stores as needed. Overall we loved the week we spend on the ocean!

Family getaway

We had a great time. The kids loved being right on the beach and hanging out on the balcony overlooking the water. Beautiful views. Plenty of space. Quiet. We would definitely go back!

family getaway

The condo was great. Perfect view of the beach and very spacious. So nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, etc. available with the use of the condo . Pool was also very nice. Outside of unit could use some work but overall experience was really nice.

Great stay beautiful views

This is property was a great find for us. When you walk in right away you can see the view of the ocean. The kitchen was nice and spacious along with all modern appliances. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook with and matter of fact the entire place had everything we needed. I would stay here again and if you are looking at a place in NSB then this is the place to be.

Christmas at the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This Ocean Front and top floor condo had all the comforts of home. We brought along a small Christmas Tree and string of lights to help Santa find the kids with their presents while we were out of town. :) The beds and living room couches were very comfortable and the views from the 6th floor balcony were spectacular, especially watching the group of about 20 Dolphins frolic and chase fish just a few hundred yards off shore.

Beautiful View! Great Beach Access

This is a beautiful condo and the view was worth every penny! So great to have coffee on the deck and watch the sun rise. The 2nd bedroom was perfect for our 3 kiddos! We LOVED New Smyrna and will be back for sure! The only downfall to this listing was that when we came in mid May, the elevator broke several times and we had to lug luggage, groceries and beach stuff up and down 6 flights of stairs several times. However, the management company responded quickly to our reports of the outage and did the best they could to work with property management to get it up and running. While this was frustrating—I definitely think they worked with us and our complaints. I would certainly feel comfortable booking with them again!

Horrible Property Management

The property was not very clean, and the condo is very old. We had to clean hair and sand out of the tub and shower and on the counter. The elevator did not work, and we were on the 6th floor. We had to climb the stairs several times in the rain. We understand things happen; however, when we asked them for a small credit for the elevator not working for our entire stay, they said we left the place unorderly. We left a coffee cup, a butter knife, and two forks in the sink. We figured they would want to hand wash them instead of wasting water by washing them in the dishwasher. We left a paper bag, a seashell, and two bandaids on the counter. They sent us the pictures saying the condo was dirty and charged us an extra cleaning fee for it, but they would credit it back due to the elevator not working. I would never recommend this property management to anyone. Not sure why we have to pay a cleaning fee and then be expected to clean the condo spotless and do the laundry. I have never ever been charged for a cleaning fee.

Chris, Due to the multiple threatening messages we received from you, we are not surprised by your negative review; however, we are shocked at some of the incorrect information that you provided. This is the first we have heard of any cleaning issues that you allegedly encountered and we absolutely would have remedied these had we known. The elevator was out for one night of your stay and we did provide a partial credit to you for this inconvenience. The credit was not the full amount we would typically offer due to the conditions that you left the condo. We ask in our departure checklist for the dishwasher to be started and you not only did not follow this but left food and drink items in the dishes around the condo. There were also used bandaids on the counter, trash left on the floor and around the condo, and lamp-shades strewn about the bedrooms. No additional cleaning fee was charged to you as we covered the cost to pay our vendor for the additional time it took to clean the mess you left at the condo. We hope our potential renters will read our previous guest reviews which show the care that we take with our guests.

Very Nice!

The condo was very nice and exactly as described. From the beach, the property looked fairly dilapidated compared to the neighboring properties, but it is being renovated. This is no fault of the host, their unit was extremely nice!

Called in for early check in, left a message but received no call back. Condo was Very clean and spacious. Unfortunately the fan in the master bedroom had a squeaky sound and the pool chain was extremely short. Showerhead in the guest bathroom kept falling off. Coffee maker did not work. The vertical blinds in the living room area on the south side where too Long and could not be closed correctly. The power went out in the evening for two hours and we had no flashlight. Kitchen carpet was old and corners were curved up that could potentially be a trip hazard.

The condo was overall fine other than we were concerned about the stability of the structure. We did not sleep the first night due to the extremely loud noises that erupted in the condo due to the high wind that night.

Great condo with wonderful view

Although the weather was challenging during our short stay in November, we had a great view from our sixth floor balcony up and down the coast. The waves are practically at your doorstep! The condo was extremely clean and everything we needed was there. There was plenty of room for us three and the furnishings were very nice. Cute restaurants were nearby. Although the space shot was canceled, it would have been a great location to view it from. Thanks for sharing such a great place with us!

Awesome views

This unit suited us very well. Everything you need is in the condo including beach chairs and towels. The view from the balcony is outstanding and a terrific place to watch the sunrise. To reach the beach just take the elevator down, walk through the pool area and you’re on the boardwalk! Highly recommended.
