Stay comfortably in Thousand Oaks at this 4-bedroom house with a beautiful pool and hot tube. This lovely property offers everything you need for a relaxing getaway. This is a very private oasis in a great location! Close to downtown Thousand Oaks, the 101 Freeway, we are located one hour from Santa Barbara and about 45 minutes from LA. This is an ideal location! This home is really ideal for children, we live in this house but travel a lot will leave out toys and games to help you really feel right at home.It includes all the amenities like AC, WiFi, heating, a hair dryer, and a washing machine, you'll feel right at home. Whether you're exploring the nearby attractions or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings, we hope you'll enjoy your stay at our house.

Great for families with young children

Property has a lot of child-friendly amenities and is well-priced. Host is very attentive and thoughtful.

great location great pool/hot tub

this is a large house with plenty of space, a large kitchen and a wonderful pool and hot tub. bedrooms were large but be advised that the bunk bed in one of the bedrooms is not really suitable for adults.

Perfect for Remote Work Getaway

My husband and I decided to work remotely for a week in California and this house was perfect -- two work stations and excellent wifi. House is located near grocery stores and great restaurants (shout out to Winners Pizza!). We had a couple of hiccups, but owners were very prompt in addressing. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. As an aside -- we do not have small children, but this house would be perfect for you if you did (note -- no fence around the pool). Lots of games and books and a perfect play space for kids.

Fun pool, wish there were less stickers

This was our first time renting someone’s PRIMARY RESIDENCE, and we appreciate the space they made for us. We appreciated the tons of kid toys and pool table. Our dog was even well taken care of with the extra water bowl, treats, and bed. Christine left us great info on the local area and was very quick to respond. The primary bathroom had been updated, but seems like the painted/epoxy tile is starting to peal. Some of the wood flooring is coming up. Most surfaces have paint or stickers on them, in that well-lived vibe. The pool was fun, but tile is falling off and we found some empty cups and hair ties in the bottom of the pool.

Disappointed

Upon entering the property it was immediately apparent that it was not clean. My shoes were sticking to the floor tiles. Walls grimy, cobwebs in some of the rooms. Box spring mattress exposed with writing on it. Refrigerator was not clean, we saw remnants of tried food. Worst of all dried blood stains in the bathroom sink. We immediately vacated the property, messaged and called the property owner. We notified VRBO and were guaranteed a full refund.

I am sorry that you were disappointed Angie. As I mentioned my daughter had an urgent medical surgery the day before your arrival. But nevertheless I apologize that our house wasn’t up to the highest standard. Just FYI that wasn’t blood. It was my daughter’s medicine. I wish you all the best and sincerely apologize.

A comfy, cozy, beautiful house with a great location

Beautifully located close to everything (great restaurants, great shopping, good attractions, easy access to the freeway) and yet at the same time a little bit of a hideaway from city life, this home was the perfect place to stay at. We chose this place (two families with teenagers) for a three day weekend for a little bit fun, a little bit basketball tournament. Our kids were going to be playing in games but we also planned for some downtime to relax and to go do some things and this home was perfect! First the home: big cozy couch in the living room made a great space to hang out, watch movies, play pool (!), eat snacks….the kitchen was HUGE and had plenty of space for us to make meals & dessert (and with all the utensils and plates and equipment you needed - thanks Christine!). The pool and hot tub? So awesome! Perfect for after all the games & tired basketball players with tired muscles who needed to just chill. The house was plenty big for us. Water was hot and plenty in the bathrooms and the pressure was plentiful - none of that “let me dance around to get wet” nonsense that’s happened to me before. I don’t know about the other beds but I slept in the main bedroom and the mattress was amazing! Slept like I was at home and that doesn’t always happen. Every room had a ceiling fan that was adjustable and personally like that, allowing for moving air. Location: five mins from the house you could go to Trader Joe’s and dozens of restaurants. Totally would recommend!
