We generally go to the isle of palm, once a year for fishing, the property is very convenient to what we expect from a location with a private pier, which makes it very convenient for us. The amenities included in the property allow us to stay in and cook every night. however the cookware is very outdated, and it was difficult to find matching lids to any of the pots which are old. With that said, the property has basic needs, our biggest complaint is that it is not ADA compliant. My wife has a disability, and it makes it very difficult to climb stairs, and everything in this property has stairs, to your room on the first floor, to the pier, to the beach, And the restrooms by the pool. At the very least, we would love to see a ramp to the pier, which would make it so easy to get your fishing gear up onto. If you plan on fishing here, make sure you chart the tides, as with low tide, the pier is almost completely out of the water, and there’s only a few feet under the pier until the tide comes back in. Regarding Island Realty the company does a great job with managing this property, the room was very clean, and the rental company was very accommodating as much as they can be. We were never told there were no elevators anywhere on this property. Be prepared to climb a lot of stairs all the time.
