Ocean front oasis and renovation nestled into the dune on a private beach.

OWL House! Updated, sophisticated, “attention to detail” beach-front cottage. Sunny, airy vaulted living room. Second bedroom is a walk-up sleeping loft with skylight, views, and built in storage. Back porch provides an extension to the house, space to grill, eat and relax with privacy and protection from the weather. Enjoy the outdoor furniture, teak dining set, propane fire pit, cafe lights, and seasonal outdoor shower. The private beach is steps around the dune, camp fires are highly encouraged! 2 ornamental fireplaces, 2 flat screen Roku TV’s, games, oozing character and charm.

Full kitchen, dishwasher, dining area with a generous farmhouse table, seats 8, an ideal spot to spread out for remote work. Pack as if you were going to be on a yacht as the home is nearly 100 years old, limited storage but the hidden washer and dryer make packing light a breeze!

Our family oasis has been updated to include security technology to assure comfort and safety. Wifi deadbolt for self check in and exterior monitored cameras.

Sandwich is the oldest town on the Cape with quintessential experiences beyond the beaches. We are looking forward to sharing this bespoke slice of heaven with you. Thank you for choosing Owl House!

Wonderful cozy cottage set right in the dunes. You sleep to the sounds of gentle waves. Most excellent.Location provides easy access to many of Cape Cod attraction as well as being close to the town of Plymouth .We would definitely plan to come back.

Loved our stay at this beautiful oceanfront cottage in East Sandwich! It was super clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed—central air, smart TVs, a great outdoor patio, and an awesome outdoor shower. You can’t beat the view or the peaceful vibe. Would definitely come back!

Girls Trip

This was the best place to say with my group of girls. There was enough room for five girls, we could have fit a sixth! It was a great experience from before we even checked in to when we checked out. We couldn’t have pictured a better vacation and are so thankful for Kerry and her property!

Perfect beach cottage!

This cozy beach cottage is perfect! It's literally surrounded by sand. The cottage has all the comforts of home. The bed was so comfy that we ordered the same mattress when we got home! There was good communication with the owner as well. We will definitely be returning some time in the future!

Wonderful stay!

This house was perfect for the three of us. We are from the Pacific Northwest and even by our standards it rained hard while we were in Cape Cod! This little house gave us some great refuge and home base for driving to see the area. The kitchen is set up well and being a weekend chef, it had all we needed! Even sharp knives! We will be back!

Amazing Location and Gorgeous Home

Kerry was awesome for communication from the start of the reservation process through checkout. The home guide book answered all questions that came up including great spots to eat during the offseason. Home was very clean, spacious and right over the dunes to the beach which we checked out even in 30 degree weather ;)

Beautiful, cozy cottage on the beach

A friend and I stayed at the cozy and warm Owl House 1.5 days in the middle of a small winter storm. Made for a dramatic and deliberately serene winter time beach walking. It was a spacious and welcoming place with 1 bedroom and an open loft with several single beds to accommodate additional guests/family if needed. Owl House had everything we could possibly need and Kerry made sure of that and that we were comfortable asking any questions- very welcoming. A great place any time of the year to visit Sandwich. We loved our stay at Owl House!

Awesome cozy cottage

Location was great. Cottage was very clean and organized. Host left us a welcome basket with snacks in it. The property was located perfectly on the dunes in front of the bay. Perfect beach cottage

We had a perfect beach vacation. Crisp and clean with beautiful and functional furniture. Kitchen was a great size to be comfortable to prepare to eat in. Dine on the patio vs the dining room table or both. Outdoor lounging and storage for all the beach accessories. Steps from the beach. The daytime is lounging and swimming and the evening is beach fires and s'more's. Also was able to have excellent restaurant meals close by with a variety of options from quick to fine dining.

Awesome family stay

What an awesome cottage to stay with direct access to the beach. We had a wonderful 7 nights stay (2 adults & 4 kids) early august 2024. Evening fires on the beach, exterior dinners on the deck. Full equiped cottage and wondefull host. AC helped to keep the cottage fresh during sunny summer days. Cottage was ultra clean at our arrival. Kids & adults made wonderfull memories here. We definitely recommand the cottage. Note 1 : mix of nice sand and some rocks on the beach so better to bring your shoes to enjoy fully the potential of the beach. Note 2 : The ocean is colder on that side of the bay. Note 3 : Few people fishing nice big fishs We were not equiped to fish but will definitely consider it if we come back one day.

Amazing stay at Owl House

The house was well stocked and had so many great amenities for our family with kids ranging from 1-16 years old. They anticipated each need we might have! The house had all the pots and pans we needed for cooking. The kitchen stocked with things like k cups, sugar, spices, cooking spray, tin foil etc. Game provided like clue, monopoly and scrabble were also a hit for our family. Our kids loved the loft area for sleeping including the beanbag chair! Items provided such as chairs, umbrella and beach towels were also great to have access to. We have a 6 year old with disabilities who is non ambulatory so the proximity of the house to the beach was ideal and made for an easy transition to and from the beach. Although the water was cold that did not stop the kids from swimming! We saw a variety of surf over our stay, days where the ocean was pretty calm, other days with more waves which the big kids enjoyed riding on their boogie boards. The depth of the water changed depending on tide. At higher tide the littles enjoyed wading in the soft sand and sitting feeling the waves wash up on them. For the big kids and adults going into the water you were quickly deep. At low tide, once made over a small amount of rocks you could walk out for yards on soft sand and still be in shallow water due to sand bars. We enjoyed dinners on the covered porch each night as well as beach fires. Plenty of things to do nearby and places for food. Thank you again for sharing this wonderful house with us!

We are a blended family from New England and are now empty nesters. Most vacations have been spent at the Cape for years and we decided to plant our feet in the sand and have a special place to use and share with our friends and family and travelers who also enjoy the Cape.

There is something a bit magical about the place. It feels custom, private, a true beach get away but still stylish. We can drive to the cottage in a little over an hour from our home.
