This place was so nice! It was very clean and well stocked. We enjoyed walking on the nearby trail and it is a 5 min walk to THE COVE, an indoor outdoor water park. The host was great.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage! From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, welcoming, and incredibly comfortable. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed to relax after our long drive from West Virginia.The host was thoughtful and provided a wonderful place to stay. We would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and relaxing getaway. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return someday.

We had a perfect stay! Suzi was very responsive, accommodating and kind in all of our communication. She exuded the hostess with the mostest! I never felt like, had there been an issue, that I could not call her for help. She even baked cookies for us!The cottage was so clean, well equipped and charming. The decor was better than pictured! We were there for a wedding so we were busy with friends etc, but we would have loved to enjoy the lake more. We ran in the morning there and enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. We have all reminisced many times since, that we would love to own the place and be near our friends (we now live in Boston) Would rent again!

Suzi's place was one of the best equipped rentals we've ever stayed in. My family two adults, two preschoolers) stayed at the house for a month, and we felt we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Suzi was communicative and helpful, keeping us up to date on local notices, and checking in via text to make sure we were settling in. Close to the lake, nice area to take walks, across the street from the water park, and easy access to nearby towns. We would gladly stay here again.

We had such a relaxing time at The Cottage! Everything was perfect - coffee on the front porch swing in the mornings, napping in the comfortable bed during a rainy Saturday, and an easy walk around the Lake on Sunday! We will be back!!

Suzi is awesome, very responsive and helpful. If you are looking for a place that is convenient, clean, and has enough space, this is it. The cottage has all the things as advertised and some things that were not but very helpful.Don't question whether you should stay at Lakeside Cottage!!!

The Lakeside Cottage was perfect for our multi-generational family to stay while in town celebrating my son’s college graduation. It was just as pictured! Beautifully updated. Large front porch for catching up with family. The large kitchen and dining table were perfect for multiple family meals. And the hiking trail across the street and along the lake was such a beautiful escape.. Our host was super responsive, very kind and accommodating. I recommend this home to anyone looking for a pet friendly home for their family. Such a gem!Thank you, Suzi and Kip for sharing your home.

The property was great. Extremely clean and had most everything we needed in the kitchen. We were in town for a cooking competition so we had brought some specialty items with us.The property had more amenities that were listed. Will definitely recommend to friends coming to the area.

The host was fantastic. Left us a treat and even a baby toy for our new grand baby! She responded right away when we needed help with the lock. It had everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Short getaway

We had to get out of our house for an open house weekend and the home was so accommodating for our 2 dogs and daughter they had everything they needed plus fun extras that made the staycation special

The hosts were very responsive and offered way more than expected. We loved the comfort and location of this home. We brought the family for an event (everyone enjoyed their stay), and the dogs enjoyed being able to walk to the lake! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home with us. The house has a cottage/lake feeling. Quiet neighborhood and access to the lake but also close enough to explore the amenities in the city.
