Villa Aiale is a luxury retreat set within the Castelnuovo Tancredi Estate — 600 private hectares in the hills between Siena and Montalcino, Tuscany. Space for 14 guests, every bedroom with its own private en-suite bathroom, and air conditioning throughout the entire villa — not just the bedrooms.

THE VILLA
The heart of the house is a 100 m² living and dining space, transformed from a historic horse stable — stone arches, soaring ceilings, fully equipped kitchen and bar. Handcrafted interiors, premium bedding, and designer furnishings throughout.

The villa is perfect: large bedrooms and bathrooms with giant showers. Furnished with extreme taste. Fantastic living room, romantic fireplace, and excellent service—a hidden gem. I come to Italy often, but a place this special is not a given. You can see that there are five generations of extraordinary people behind it who have shaped the history of this country. If you can, ask them to tell you their family history. It's worth everything.

I love restoring historic buildings, bringing them back to life without erasing their soul. Every detail you see in Villa Aiale, from the fabrics to the antique furniture, was chosen with that philosophy in mind: understated elegance, never excess.

What I enjoy most about being a host is creating an atmosphere where guests feel not like tourists, but like temporary custodians of a living heritage. When someone leaves Villa Aiale saying they felt “at home,” it is the best compliment I could receive. Our estate extends over 600 hectares of organic farmland, offering endless views and absolute privacy, yet we are just minutes from excellent restaurants, local artisans, and the train station in Buonconvento that connects directly to Siena and Florence.

This area embodies everything I value: authenticity, history, and respect for nature. It’s a place where each season has a personality — golden wheat in summer, misty mornings in autumn, crisp light in winter — and where life is still measured by the sound of the wind, not the clock.
