Sun and snow in Sun Valley

We had a great stay at this beautiful white clouds condo in Sun Valley. The sunrise and sunset views of the mountains from the floor to ceiling windows were spectacular. The proximity to the Sun Valley Club; cross country skiing; town; and Bald Mountain makes it a primo location.

Nice townhome and location

The property is new and located a nice walking distance to the village. The 3 bedrooms are on separate floors so good for friends or families that want privacy from each other. The home unfortunately is not setup well. We stayed for several nights however the home lacked all the basic cleaning supplies. It was also not well cleaned. For those wanting a dark bedroom, the primary upstairs doesn’t not have shades on the top, therefore you will wake up to the first morning sun. It’s a great home, great location but lacks some essentials if you are staying more than a single night.

I am very sorry you had this experience. We have never had this issue before. We always have housekeeping come through before and after all stays. I also offered to send an additional housekeeping team out multiple times, which I did not receive a response to. I arrived at the home for an owner stay immediately after this stay, the house was stocked with all cleaning supplies. We appreciate this feedback though, and will be certain to make sure all supplies are available.

great location

Nice condo/townhome with 3 bedrooms, large outdoor space, great view and walkable to the golf club as well as the Sun Valley lodge and modest walk to ketchum or short drive. Great place to start a bike ride. Just perfectly located.

A Wonderland Even Without Snow

We've vacationed in many lovely homes from Bar Harbor to La Jolla to Poipu Beach, Kauai, and keep returning to some of them multiple times. This home in Sun Valley is one we definitely hope to return to soon. It exceeded our expectations in every way; there wasn't anything we needed or wanted that wasn't already there. Our thanks to our hosts for sharing their lovely Sun Valley home, and setting, with us.

Amazing repeat stay at Diamondback Townhome in Sun Valley!

Our family had an amazing repeat stay at Diamondback Townhome in Sun Valley! We had such a wonderful trip last year that we were eager to rebook the home and returned again this summer! The home is spacious and layout private with three bedroom/bathroom suites on each floor. The proximity of the home to the Sun Valley Lodge Resort and to Ketchum make it an ideal spot with everything you need in walking distance or a short five minute drive. The recreation pass to access the Sun Valley Lodge facilities was a wonderful perk for our family to be able to use the swimming pool and other amenities. We enjoyed the deck off the main living area and it's a wonderful spot to enjoy the views, use the grill and dine al fresco. The property is immaculate and well maintained and the owner and property manager are incredibly responsive if there are questions or should anything arise. We can't wait to stay here again next summer and hopefully in the years to come!

Wonderful stay at The Diamondback Townhome at White Cloud

We had a wonderful stay at The Diamondback Townhome at White Cloud! It’s the perfect set up and location to participate in all of the amazing summer activities Sun Valley has to offer! It’s like being at adult summer camp! The home is new and well equipped with beautiful amenities. The outdoor spaces are great to relax and dine and we enjoyed having a grill to use. We stayed with our two young daughters and the house was a great set up for us (but definitely bring baby monitors!). There was a crib on the first floor and our older daughter stayed on the main level and the master suite is on the third floor and is private and spacious with it’s own terrace. We loved having access to the Sun Valley Resort amenities and were able to get a recreation pass to the use the facilities — pool, gym and tennis which was a short walk away. We rented bikes and were able to quickly ride to the Sun Valley Golf Club, Lodge or Ketchum and enjoyed easy access to all the bike trails right from the front door. We also loved the hikes we were able to walk to from the property and were able to hike every day! Ketchum is very close and no more than a 5 minute car ride or a 30 min walk. The owner and property manager were great and very responsive with our questions. We would definitely come back to Sun Valley again and hope to rent this same property! We miss it already and can’t wait to visit! We loved our stay!

Excellent home!

We could not have enjoyed our stay more! The home is very well appointed with beautiful views inside and out. The beds and all the linens are very pleasing and the bathrooms are spacious and beautiful. We stayed here with one other couple, no kids. It would be ideal for 3 couples as all the bedrooms & bathrooms are lovely. The Sonos music system and an abundance of tech upgrades also wowed us. We spent each day skiing on the mountain but really enjoyed our leisurely mornings in front of the fire with coffee as it snowed outside. After coming off the mountain, it was a very short drive through Ketchum and we put our feet up with a cocktail, then headed over to the Lodge hot tub/pool. This was a BIG perk for us. Since we weren't staying in Ketchum, it was really nice to have access to the Sun Valley resort amenities. Each day we enjoyed the hot tub, excellent service, cocktails and occasional appetizer at the Lodge spa/pool area. We hosted happy hour with some family and local friends two evenings prior to dinner at Round House & Trail Creek. Great entertaining space! It might be special to note that I've been coming to the Sun Valley area for over 30 years and have to say it was the first time I have stayed outside of Ketchum. It was really fun to spend more time at the Sun Valley Resort and to stay at such a new, beautiful property. And I should also note that one of our guests was a high end local designer who was quite impressed by the property as well. Other things to note: Our property manager was easily available via text for any questions. There is construction in the area, but we can honestly say we weren't bothered once by it. We also enjoyed meandering through the Lodge one night before dinner looking at all the old photos and having a cocktail in the Duchin Room (iconic!). We went to The Pioneer for dinner one night (long wait, but worth it). And we tried Cornerstone for dinner which I don't recommend other than the brussel sprout appetizer and the coconut cake. We loved the heated garage--big perk with all of the snowfall while were were there. As lovely as the property is in the winter, I can only imagine how great it would be in the summer given the proximity to the biking and hiking trails, the abundance of outdoor (and indoor) space and the fantastic views.
