Upgraded Spacious 5-bedroom with AC, Private Pool/Spa next to Magic Sand beach

The house has just been remodeled, with a new kitchen, new lanai, and furniture for your comfort.

We also added 7 new split ACs, which cover all the house's areas, including the kitchen and living room.

The house is just across the street from the famous magic sand beach, 1 minute walk to the beach, also 10 minutes walk to the best snorkeling beach - Kahalu'u beach. The house is 10 minutes away from downtown Kona and 20 minutes away from Kona International Airport.


The main house you rent has five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The phenomenal property offers plenty of sleeping space for guests. The house features three bathrooms equipped with a shower, bathtub, and hairdryer. Additionally, guests can relax in the living room with a cozy sofa bed. Enjoy your time in Kailua-Kona at our tremendous house.

Ball family vacation

Loved the location amd size of the house. It was perfect for our family. We had 3 married couples and 2 teenage sons and we all gound comfortable spits and had Privacy. Pool and hot tub were a great benefit as well.It was a short quick stay and very enjoyable.It was a short quick stay

Great home away from home!

We stayed here with friends who might as well be family! The generous space, many bedrooms and beds gave us many opportunities to have adequate space for all. The pool and hot tub as well as the lanai was looooved by all! So many beach towels!!! Loved it! Highly recommend!

This house was PERFECT for our family trip to Hawai'i. Kona is the cutest town and the Magic Sands Beach is incredible - I wish there were more boogie boards or beach toys available at the house for us to enjoy the beach even more, but that would just be an added bonus! The private pool, quiet neighborhood, and living areas of this house were everything we hoped a Hawaiian vacation would be. Watching the sunset is INCREDIBLE from the upstairs deck and the kitchen is fully stocked with all different kinds of cookware. We loved making breakfast on the skillet and sharing meals in this space. The only thing that was a little off-putting was the number of rules that are posted throughout the house, though I'm sure there are reasons for every laminated sheet! As respectful and rule-following guests, it was a little hard to be reminded of other folks' bad behavior, but we certainly enjoyed all of the amenities of this house. The hosts are WONDERFUL about communicating from check-in to check-out! We had the information we needed to get into the house and reminders about our stay with texts and links during the week leading up to our visit. I really appreciated the communication and helpful check-in website with all of the information we needed. This house will go down as one of our best family finds and a five-star favorite vacation spot! Mahalo, Emmy!

We were disappointed. Except for the living room and the renovated kitchen, the house was not in good shape. Master bed was hard and lumpy. Most beds had thin and cheap mattresses. Bathrooms had rotted wood and mildew growing. Shower curtain in hall bath was filthy. It is a split level with steps not safe for anyone with mobility problems or for toddlers. Rug in dining area curled at one corner and was a tripping hazard. All doors need cleaning or painting around handles. There is a large deck with a long table but the vinyl tablecloth is old, torn, and stained. The chair cushions are stained and need replacing. The umbrellas had holes and tears. Downstairs door to the pool had a broken handle and had to remain bolted so our toddler could not wander out. One of the three downstairs bedrooms had no closet and no access to the Jack and Jill bathroom between the other two bedrooms. There was no handrail on the stairs to assist our elderly family member. There were some beach chairs provided, but all were rusted and stained from being left out in the weather. There were signs everywhere warning against doing something. The positive: House was roomy, Kitchen and living room were very good, The washer and dryer seemed new. The pool and hot tub were fine. Response was quick when I reported the broken door handle, broken baby gate, steps that were a tripping hazard, and squeaky bed. However, my daughter, son in law and two year old refused to stay and rented a hotel room.

Construction noises, insurance adjuster inspection, no control of AC

There was excessive construction going on in the other bedrooms in the house that was not mentioned on the listing or told to us ahead of our trip. The noises were very loud and we could see the construction workers from the pool which felt like a huge invasion of privacy. We then had to let the host know when we were leaving/coming back to the home each day so that she could let her construction workers know, which was a frustrating task to have to coordinate with the host each day on a vacation. On one day of our stay, the host scheduled an insurance adjuster visit to the home, which lasted for a couple hours, and which consisted of an inspector coming into the home and taking photos including inside some of the bedrooms while we were there. The host also provided different bedrooms than what was on the listing because they were doing active construction on the bedrooms that were part of the listing. We also couldn’t control the AC at all, it was set to an exact level (74 degrees) at all times. The stove also wasn't working for several hours on the day before our departure. The location was great but definitely would never stay at this property again

Aloha! This is Emmy. I am the owner and manager of these lovely vacation rentals in Kailua-Kona of Hawai’i. I had been working in Silicon Valley for over 25 years and worked as a software engineer and entrepreneur.  I founded several startup companies in Silicon Valley, built several successful businesses, and pursued my entrepreneurial dreams there.   I loved living in California and still consider it my "Home on the Mainland."

 My lifelong dream has always been to live in Hawaii - paradise on earth.  My first truly memorable experience in Hawaii was my first vacation in Hawaii. I visited each of the Hawaii islands. I fell in love with Kona.  The Big Island is the best.  There is so much to do here, with crystal clear water for snorkeling, rainforests, waterfalls, and volcanoes to explore, and mountains that almost reach the stars.

Besides high tech, one of my lifelong interests has been real estate. I love exploring the properties in every destination I visit. Combining my love for Hawaii and homes, I now own 5 beautiful vacation rental houses.

I have put much effort into every house to make them as comfortable and welcoming as your own home.  I use the latest technologies in the rental houses, including a smart lock, a comprehensive customized online welcome book for each guest, and much more. 

I built the best team which is responsible and responsive to your inquiries and needs.   We live close to all of our rental houses, we are always available for our guests.   We do our best to provide the best services.

I've always felt at home with the tropics and the ocean. From volcanoes to waterfalls, my favorite part of Kona is the snorkeling that gives you a peek into the vast and amazing ocean life. Kailua-Kona, the town itself also has a great, laid-back vibe and easy access to beaches, stores, farmer's market, and restaurants.
