There is a side porch off of this living area, which is perfect for indoor/outdoor living convenience.

One of the most compelling features of our home is its proximity to the beach. Just 30 steps away, a private, gated path leads you to one of Hilton Head's most beautiful and serene beaches. This stretch of beach is less crowded than others, offering a tranquil setting for sunbathing, swimming, and beachcombing. You can even hear the soothing sounds of the waves from the house!

The Neighborhood:

Folly Field is a unique blend of historic charm and modern beach living. The neighborhood features a mix of old-school beach houses and newer homes, creating a vibrant and eclectic community.

Historically Relevance:

When Hilton Head Island was being developed they built the first homes in the best locations. In 1954 this home was the 6th home to receive a certificate of occupancy on the Island. At the time the town of Hilton Head required 6 "COs" to start the permitting process to build a bridge from the mainland to Hilton Head. There for this home was the last domino to fall in order to build the bridge to HHI.
