We will be back

Francisco was wonderful to interact with. The place was very clean. The coffee provided was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. The best sleep we've had on vacation in a long time. We are planning another trip already and definitely would stay here again.

Everything was pure perfection, but what stood out the most was the attention and compassion from the owner and his family . I lost my pocket book the first day and Fransica was there the whole helping me stay calm and walking me through the process . He went way beyond to make my stay was still enjoyable. I recommend this home not just because it’s beautiful and has everything you need, but the attention to detail and compassion to what I was going through is something that I will always remember. I left Mérida with beautiful memories and new friends. Thank you Fransisco.

Absolute Perfection

We could not have asked for a more gracious host or lovelier home. The check in process was seem less and Francisco was available to answer any questions we had about the property and the surrounding area. This is a lovely home located in a quiet and walkable neighborhood. The home is within walking distance to a number of restaurants, stores and coffee shop and a quick Uber ride to Centro. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Thank you so much for your comment. We try to differentiate ourselves from large hotel chains through excellent service. Although we typically don't meet our guests out of respect for their privacy, we are always available to help with recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, etc. The house was designed to be a short-term rental with a spectacular design in a quiet neighborhood that allows you to experience the real Mexico less than 12 minutes from the city center.

Our two-week stay

Francisco's property was exactly as shown in the photos. The house is extremely clean and comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen and a comfortable back yard for sitting outside. All of our questions or needs were tended to immediately. Francisco was very helpful and welcoming. We loved the neighbourhood and would definitely consider returning in the future! This is our favourite place to stay in Merida! Muchas gracias Francisco!

Ted, I really appreciate your review. We are so glad you liked the neighborhood, which we love. It is a very quiet, traditional neighborhood just 12 minutes from downtown by car or $5 USD by Uber. The pool in the garden area allows you to recover after a day of adventure in the city or its surroundings. On the property we support several Mayan communities so if you like any of the hats, they are priced at $50 USD, this amount is used to support the Mayan communities of the state of Yucatan. We would be very happy to have you back next year.

Friend get away

This unit is exactly as pictured. Francisco was an attentive host and was quick to respond when we contacted him. We arrived late and found homemade tamales and cake in the fridge. Very nice!! There is so much more positive things I could say, but then this review would be very long. I will definitely stay here again. Gracias Francisco for a well designed, comfortable place to stay.

A place out of the ordinary

The place was professionally designed with luxury finishes. The beautiful pictures and hats, the lamp double height gave it a unique touch to the living room. The area is very quiet with a park a 4-minute walk away with many small restaurants. The city downtown less than 15 minutes by Uber ($5 USD). If I return to Merida without a doubt I would return to the same place. The very attentive owner welcomes his guests with fruit, bread, tea and purified water, something that is not common in vacation rentals.

BEAUTIFUL, Well-Equipped Home with Amazing Hosts

We recently stayed in this beautiful home for almost two weeks, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The house itself is so cute and thoughtfully designed, with every detail covered. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen appliances to spices, oil, extra towels, toilet paper, a washing machine (with detergent!), and a pool that our kids absolutely loved. The home was newly built they later told us, with large windows letting in natural light, and the spacious bathrooms were super comfortable. We are a family, my husband and I, my mom, our 2 kids and our dog and we were all so happy while staying here. You can tell the owners have great taste and really care about their guests’ experience—it wasn’t just about putting in the cheapest stuff. Everything was high-quality and in perfect shape. Plus, the hosts were amazing—super kind and responsive, even bringing us fresh dragon fruit and mango one day! We worked from our computers during the stay and have two babies, and there was space for everyone to be comfortable. We also really enjoyed cooking family meals and eating together. It felt like home, and we can’t recommend it enough. We’d come back in a heartbeat next time we’re in Merida!

Absolutamente Excelente!

Wow! This place was perfect in every way.We traveled from the northern US as a family of four just before Christmas.The hosts, Francisco and Ivette, were exceptional. We flew in very late after an exhausting day of travel and ended up lost due to our own lack of understanding of how the neighborhoods in Merida work. Francisco was so patient and kind, going way out of his way (even leaving a social gathering) to meet us there after making every effort to help us find it. They also stocked it with very tasty organic coffee, tea, lots of fresh drinking water, fruit, and locally-made delectable cake!The property and well-stocked house are gorgeous and very clean. The pool, washing machine, comfortable beds, modern amenities, and 3! bathrooms complete this amazing place. It’s situated in a very nice, peaceful neighborhood where we felt safe. There is a large park within walking distance with a lot to offer including entertainment for the kids and a small vendor market. Many restaurants to choose from are near by & there is a small grocery store with everything you need alongside the park. The city center is only a short distance away.We really looked forward to returning to Francisco and Ivette’s Casa Provo Real, which we came to call “our safe, happy place“ after long days exploring all that the Yucatan has to offer.If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!
