Location, location, location! On a private and quiet open water lot, this oceanfront property offers the vintage feel of “old style” Hatteras! Leeward is a charming cottage offering stunning views, even from inside. While sitting inside or lazing out on a lounger, the tranquility and beauty of the waves crashing on the shore are yours for the taking.
For the early risers, one of the most breathtaking moments in your life will be when you grab that cup of java and step out the front door to the deck that wraps the front and side of the cottage. There is a brilliant sunrise almost every single day on Hatteras Island.
This single-level, 4-bedroom floor plan makes it easy to enjoy lots of family time after a relaxing day on the beach. Cook your very own catch and enjoy dinner on the deck, or eat inside while still enjoying the relaxing ocean view with family. With 2 bedrooms on each side of the main living area, it is easy to slip away to watch your favorite television show or read a good book in the quietness.
Leeward is a quiet little secret located on the ocean shores in Rodanthe and is a water-lover’s or fisherman’s dream! Just a short walk to the Rodanthe Fishing Pier and close to all the shops, restaurants, and water sports that make island life so wonderful.
Due to the amazing location of this cottage, 4WD is required. Parking for one vehicle at the property. Additional parking is available at the Sun Realty office in Salvo.
*Leeward is pet-friendly. There is an additional charge for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking. Pet fees range from $161-231 depending on the property, and will be assessed state and local taxes. The owners are willing to accommodate up to 4 dogs. Please call the Salvo office at (252) 987-2766 for approval and to have the additional pet fee applied.

All one level: Living and dining areas, kitchen, king en suite, queen bedroom, queen and twin bedroom, bedroom with two pyramid bunks, full bath, laundry area, open oceanfront deck with hot tub and outside shower.
