Slow down and enjoy a luxurious stay in this completely renovated 1972 Airstream Land Yacht Ambassador. Enjoy brand new fixtures and furniture including residential plumbing, stunning finishes, comfortable floor plan and luscious linens. Or find a comfy spot outside on the huge covered porch furnished with plenty of cozy places to curl up. Enjoy this oasis in the middle of town near Lake Murray.
You won’t be camping in this Airstream! With standard residential plumbing (meaning no rv toilet or small capacity rv hot water), full shore power, instant hot water heater and beautiful furnishings and finishes you will be in full vacation mode. Open floor plan with living room, bedroom, full bathroom with stunning shower and kitchenette complete with mini fridge, microwave, toaster, Kuerig and full custom French press set up. Step outside your door onto a huge covered patio with tons of outdoor seating and an outdoor kitchen with a two burner range. Great location close to everything!

We had such a wonderful stay! Everything was so thoughtfully done, from the beautiful décor to the entertainment and all the little details that made us feel right at home. It truly had everything we needed and was such a unique, relaxing experience. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway!

Kristen was a great communicator. My husband and I spent a week with Otto and it was wonderful! Otto is in close proximity to anything you could possibly want to do. It is comfortable and perfect for a couple. It took a day to get used to working around each other in the space, but well worth it. The extended outdoor space is great for dining, reading, talking, playing cards, you name it. It's a great alternative to a hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Airstream. It was clean, comfortable and exactly as represented on VRBO. It's pet- friendly, so we were able to bring our beagle. Our host answered any questions and concerns we had before arrival. Many of the local eateries allow dogs on their patios, so we had a nice variety of places to eat, and we took a lovely 2-hour pontoon cruise on beautiful Lake Murray with our beagle. We had a very enjoyable vacation celebrating our 65th wedding anniversary. allowed the On beautiful Lake Murray

The property was everything it claimed to be. Very clean, easy access, very comfy. Their attention to detail was great. They thought of everything, right down to a fan on the deck and mosquito spray. The bed was really comfortable, as was the whole setup. Will definitely come back next time I come to visit my son.

Spent our anniversary in in the Airstream, what a neat concept, the Airstream was clean and really comfortable. The host had excellent communication and really made the weekend awesome. It was pet friendly and had lots of outdoor space for our pet. Large deck well-lit outside. A great place to stay, something different. Cannot go wrong if staying in the Columbia area. Would stay again.

This is a unique experience. A bit like "glamping". The Airstream is located on a lovely peaceful piece of property with a large outdoor seating area. The location was convenient. The host was very helpful and responded quickly. We loved that it was pet friendly. We would stay there again.

I am so sorry that you guys did not have a good experience! I did miss one of the messages and I do sincerely apologize about that. All of the other messages were responded to within minutes. Also, we have never had trouble with any kind of bugs before. Maybe it was all of the recent rains? As soon as you alerted me of that problem, I contacted our pest control company and had them come out and do an extra spray. Again, so sorry you did not have a pleasant experience and we would love to make it up to you next time!

I couldn’t have asked for a better more unique place to stay! The airstream was spotless and had everything and more you could possibly want or need. The place was super easy to find and to check in. One of the most comfortable beds ever. The shower was giant! The porch was huge and was so comfy and outfitted beautifully. I highly recommend this place and will surely stay again!

I loved visiting this site! I’ve vacationed in an airstream and camped out at football games in one. So it was very nostalgic for me.The interior is exquisite and every nook and cranny has been utilized. The living are has a decent sized TV/remote, radio, sofa, chair and couple of ottomans.Coffee was offered in several ways and nice supply of condiments. Kitchen area is very compact and functional. It has a Spacious fridge, adequate dishes and utensils.The bathroom is very functional with lots of towels, bath cloths, hair care supplies and soap.The bedroom has its own TV/remote and bed is very comfortable!The porch area is very well laid out and comfortable. It has a couple of rocking chairs and comfortable sofa with cushions. Has a portable fan and bug spray is supplied.Has a cooking area and “TV trays w stand” as well as a beautiful table with stools for dining outside.Kristen, the host, communicated timely and offered assist if needed.Overall a very pleasant experience!Pat Holland

We moved here from the west coast and absolutely love it! Being so close to beautiful Lake Murray and finding a historic property in the middle of the city is a dream.

We are the original historic property that has stayed in tact while a beautiful new neighborhood of custom homes have been built around us. Small, safe, upscale neighborhood that we absolutely love!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This renovated airstream is like no other! Even though you will be a good distance from the main residence with the privacy of your own driveway and surrounding mature trees and landscaping you will be able to see our home as well as The Selwood Cottage which is our other rental.
Our land is in town and there is a road that runs behind our property so some traffic may be heard at busier times of day. The benefit to that is you are in walking distance to Lake Murray, and a 10 minute drive to all the shopping and restaurants you could want!
The max interior height of the airstream is 6’7” with the front door being a little lower than that. We have removed all overhead cabinets and worked heard to maximize the interior height for your comfort.
