Discover this 3-bedroom gem in Chicago. Remodeled basement unit apartment in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood. Central Northside location between downtown and O’Hare. One bus ride to Wrigley Field. 25 minutes to downtown and the United Center . 15 minutes to trendy Logan Square . We are an urban areas so you are close to grocery stores , restaurants, park districts with play grounds, public transportation, including buses and trains, etc. The unit has everything you need to be comfortable, including a fully stocked kitchen with appliances for all kinds of cooking , a fully stocked laundry room with dryer sheets and washer pods. All the bedrooms are large : one bedroom has a queen size bed and a dedicated work area with a desk and comfortable chair. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom has one twin bed and a large sofa. The bathroom has a large shower as well as plenty of towels and a first aid kit . The Apartment is on a tree lined street of historic chicago bungalows. There is free street parking with a permit . There is dedicated wifi for the apartment. This unit is beneath the main house and owner lives above so will be close by to answer any questions or give recommendations . To enter the unit you need to walk down four stairs from street level. . Come Fall in love with Chicago and enjoy the magic it has to offer.

Great communication from host. Our only complaint was the air conditioning. The set up was allowing as much hot air as cool. Thankfully temperatures were mid 70’s while we were there or we would have reached out.

The property had an unpleasant odor and was a basement unit with residents on the ground floor. Each night there was loud stomping on the wood floors above by the residents. Sent an email to the owner for the combination to get into the unit with NO response. Had to call the VRBO home base to get that information. The price of the unit given its location along with the other issues listed above was too high. Would NOT have booked this property if the issues above had been disclosed.

I never received any communication from this guest. The only reason I knew they were in the unit was because I saw someone use the door code. I am very confused by this. I never received an email or anything on the Vrbo app. I always respond to my guests immediately. Maybe he did not know how to use the app correctly? The unit does not smell. It was raining a lot. Perhaps that was the issue and I make it clear that I live above the unit and that I have children.
