Retiro de música pacífica en los árboles.

Hola y gracias por considerar nuestro retiro tranquilo en los árboles. A Tessie Mae y a mí nos encanta recibir huéspedes y haremos todo lo posible para asegurarnos de que usted y sus invitados tengan una estadía agradable mientras visitan Austin.
Estamos a solo veinte minutos de la vibrante vida nocturna de la ciudad de Austin en Austin Lake Estates (nosotros los locales nos referimos a nuestro vecindario como Cuernavaca) ubicado en el pintoresco Hill Country. Si está de humor para comprar, ver un flic o cenar, la Hill Country Galleria está a solo diez minutos. ¿Qué tal una caminata? Commons Ford Park está en el vecindario en el hermoso lago Austin.
La casa principal tiene tres habitaciones acogedoras (tres camas queen size), dos cómodos salones, dos baños y una cocina completa. Netflix, Amazon Prime, You tube TV junto con internet de alta velocidad.
Relájate en la bañera de hidromasaje en la parte trasera, relájate en la hamaca debajo de los grandes robles o lee un libro en el columpio, todo está aquí para que lo disfrutes. Una lavadora y secadora en las instalaciones si es necesario.
El propietario se queda en una vivienda separada ubicada en la parte trasera de la casa principal. Hay una cerca cubierta de denso jazmín asiático entre las viviendas para asegurar su privacidad.
Los perros y gatos bien educados son bienvenidos. Se deben agregar $ 100 por mascota al realizar la reserva.

Everything was great. The house was very nice. All of the beds were comfortable. It was clean and had everything we needed. The yard is big and nice and the neighborhood was quiet. Steve responded to all of my questions very quickly too. Highly recommend!

The Yard was great for my dog to roam around and we enjoyed the peaceful scenery. My friends said hot water upstairs was out, but otherwise very pleasant stay.

Great Home And Place To Stay In Austin

Spent the weekend in Austin with family at this wonderful home. The home was clean, in great shape, and everything was as described in the listing. The neighborhood where the home is located is quiet and provides a great place to explore Austin from. The Host was very communicative and accommodating during our stay. Additionally, he provided us with some breakfast food and water which was greatly appreciated. This is a great place to stay and when we’re back in Austin we will definitely stay here again.

Weekend getaway for my birthday weekend

We absolutely loved The Retreat! When we arrived we were greeted with birthday decorations and cupcakes from the host. The host is a really great guy, very personable, accommodating, and approachable. We felt very safe here and it was very homey. Added bonus with all the music themed decorations as we are a musical family. Also loved how welcoming he was to our dogs who don’t get out much. Can’t find a lot of true dog friendly places so that was great! Wish we got to stay longer and would absolutely stay again when in Austin!

Very clean, comfortable house.

The house was very clean and well cared for. The hot tub in the yard was welcomed after running the Austin marathon. We met the owner briefly, he was very nice. He left breakfast food and water which was very kind. The property is gated in at night. It’s about a 20 minute drive from downtown. There’s a cool coffeehouse in the neighborhood.

Lovely house, friendly and helpful owners

The relatives we came to visit were only a block away so this was the perfection location for us. We enjoyed the hot tub! The house had 3 bedrooms, 2 up, 1 down, is located in a very nice residential area, has a beautiful fenced yard, sweet sounding chimes in the tree. Everything was lovely. No complaints at all, although one observation is I haven't slept in a double bed in years. New pillows and a new mattress for the bedrooms would make this perfect! Thanks for a very nice stay in the perfection location for us.

Austin Getaway Weekend

The Retreat was an absolutely amazing property. The house was secured with a gate, impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and very spacious. It was located in a peaceful and pleasant neighborhood. During our stay, we resided in the main house with our two small dogs, and they thoroughly enjoyed the expansive backyard. The property also features two additional bedrooms and another bathroom upstairs, making it an ideal option for families with children or larger groups. We were there for golf, and the house is inside 20 minutes from UT Golf Club, Falconhead GC in Lakeway and Omni Barton Creek. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get away to Austin.

This is a great property. Clean and well equipped. Close to some really neat restaurants and many other conveniences. Steve is a fabulous host who thinks of everything and makes sure we have everything required to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Booked the last 2 years and already booked again for next year. Great spot!

Wonderful stay in a great location

This property has beautiful landscaping, great artwork and a really accommodating host (Steve). He provided breakfast food for us, sent excellent directions for check in and made contact to ensure our comfort. We had Our small dog, and the fencing provided great security and privacy. Really enjoyed the stay!

Great Retreat

We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed. The yard is beautiful and spacious. It was perfect for our dogs. We were a short drive from great restaurants, hiking, kayaking, and the city. Steve is an amazing host. He left a few things for us in the fridge and even brought us donuts one morning! He gave us great recommendations on places to eat and hike. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again.

HEAVEN ON EARTH!

Every detail from start to finish was fantastic! Steve ( host ) was super easy to reach and prompt to answer any questions or concerns. The place is immaculate, charming and cozy - and just the right spot for me (and my dog Buddy!) to recover and refuel. Loved every minute! Thank you Steve! I will most definitely return:)

Spring Break

Very nice and well maintained property, exceeded my expectations. The neighborhood is very quiet and I love that I that I saw deer on every walk I took. It was very easy to get Lyft services in the neighborhood and every activity we wanted to do was within 30 minutes of the house, no matter which part of Austin we wanted to visit. Steve is a phenomenal host checking to see that we had everything we needed and provided additional information to assure we had a great time in Austin.

Great Location

Our stay was exactly what we were hoping for...relaxing...reading in the outdoor hammocks or sipping morning coffee outside listening to the morning chorus of song birds . Upon our arrival, the house was clean and very welcoming, with fresh flowers, snacks and ingredients for an Austin, Texas breakfast. The house was set up perfectly for our human family and our pet dog. The fenced in yard meant our Grand Babies and our pet were able to explore and have plenty of outdoor time! We would not hesitate to stay there again thanks to the hospitality of the owner, and our overall satisfaction with the property!

We are two couples who travel extensively following Formula 1. We usually stay downtown for the USGP but decided to try something different this year. Sure glad we did. Steve was a wonderful host and the accommodations were just as advertised.. Steve had suggestions for lots of nearby restaurants, which panned out and it was a short ride downtown if we preferred. Great property, great host, 5 stars.

Labor Day Weekend Getaway

Our family had a wonderful stay here, and the location was perfect for all of the activities we had planned. Steve is an excellent host to work with, and we found his home to be a very clean and comfortable spot to enjoy a relaxing weekend away!

Little taste of paradise!

Wonderful setting for a vacation rental! The house was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for your vacation. Very close to downtown. Steve and Tessie Mae are the best property managers I have experienced from my travels State side as well as internationally! Truly a piece of paradise! Steve is a wonderful person as well as the property manager! Tessie Mae…what can I say…we were sooo tempted to hide her in our suitcase and take her home with us but didn’t want to break Steve’s heart! Folks, this is a very special place! When in Austin you won’t find a better place to stay! 10 stars!

I have been living in Austin for twenty years. I play music in Austin along with teaching tennis. I love my home and took pride and care with every improvement I've made since living here. I started hosting guests here three years ago on a rival site and it has been such a positive experience I decided to broaden my exposure and get on Home Away. I have had so many great guests here and to share my home is a pleasure.

I know your going to want and explore all that Austin has to offer and my home is only twenty minutes from the night life of downtown and a stones throw from The Hill Country (actually we are on the fringes of The Hill Country technically)
Lake Austin and Commons Ford Park (for hiking) are a mile or so away. Venture out to Zilker Park, Mount Bonnell, Wimberley, The Oasis, and Hamilton Pool. Old Fredericksburg is about an hour away if you want to do a day trip. There is so much to do in Austin the tricky part is picking!
Got the munchies? Try out the local taste of Austin Pizza at The 263 walking distance just down the road. The Hill Country Galleria walking mall with all it's shops is located only five miles away. There you will find many restaurants, bars, a movie theater, Starbucks, retail stores, Whole Foods, Austin's favorite Maudie's and our own great supermarket HEB. Rosie's is just down the road from the mall on Highways 71 for a taste of old Tex Mex.
