Enjoyed our stay.

The condo was well equipped and clean. Good location close to downtown and walking distance to most everything. I would recommend staying here for anyone spending some time in Charlevoix.

Weekend trip to see our USCG nephew!

As all the reviews I read said, this property was very clean and nice. The only “issues” were still the few lights that were out(which honestly didn’t affect anything), the blinds that were missing (if we were there during a busier season it may have bothered me more), and the master bathroom sink was slow to drain. Those things being said, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It would just take it from really great to perfect if they were addressed. The location is wonderful and we were very happy!! This will always be our first choice when visiting the area.

Good location, ok stay

Location is great. Upon arrival, there are missing blinds and no blinds on the big window. The public can see right into the apartment. There are multiple lights out in the main room and bedrooms. Bathrooms and apartment had a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. WiFi that is used is the Edgewater Inn Wifi and is borderline useless. The apartment was cozy, has great location right by the Charlevoix bridge. The apartment size is great and has lots of room for sitting. Communication with the owner was slow, but eventually responded. Apartment was clean and towels and bedding was provided and seemed clean.

This place is much larger in person , to be in walking distance in Charlevoix

Charlevoix is beautiful and to have the convenience being right in the heart of the city We love coming to see the tunnel of the trees thank you for sharing your home with us We would love to stay here again !

Difficult check in - Owner was not available at check in

Owner was not available at check in, and had not shared check in information/process known previously. This made arrival very difficult! Good location to stay, but many basic repairs needed to the condo. Resort is good. Pool/hot tub area was nice, but restaurant is closed (due to COVID) . Too much bedding/other in closets. Needs attention to be set up as a destination for renters rather than a place that the family go (which is what is feels like).

Clean unit in the heart of Charlevoix

The unit is right downtown, close to everything, and roomy enough for 5. The bedroom lighting, which has been noted to be broken for several reviews, continues to be unavailable, and we had to buy a lamp to use during our stay. I also think the mattress for the top of the trundle bed needs to be replaced. Overall it's a good unit for the money, but could be great with a little more attention.

Listing and photos are accurate. Spacious living area, minimal but functional furniture. Loved the high ceilings and the cove with windows. We also loved being in the downtown area with the sights and sounds - including the drawbridge. Kitchen is well-stocked with necessities for cooking, eating, drinking. Towels a-plenty. Notably clean upon entry and in spending the weekend here. We had a cold and rainy-ish weekend - so we were in for the night relatively early. It comfortably fits a couple more people. My daughter slept on the daybed in the living room as it's comfy and she could have her own space. Some cons: after reading prior reviews, I inquired ahead about lightbulbs and blinds and was told everything was in working order, which was not the case. The overhead hanging lamp in the living area was out or not working, there weren't additional lamps in the living space, and the blinds situation was not resolved. I opened the main slider blinds and two slats fell right off. Decided to put them behind the couch so to not be unsightly, and there were several there already, that had suffered a similar fate as previously noted. The blinds in the bedroom are not sufficient as they need to be closed 24/7 since the window is to the outside hallway which is brightly lit. They were in working order, but the light that comes through when it's ni-night time is significant. We could not figure out the main tv with all of the remotes (and a system we had previously at home) but that didn't hamper anything really, as once we got the wifi code, we were able to stream movies on my laptop. All-in-all, we would definitely stay here again, during any season. Despite the hitches listed above, it was a nice place to come home to after lots of walking and shopping, and we would definitely book again in a heartbeat.

Clean and convenient to Charlevoix attractions but not the view the listing implies.

While it is clean and within walking distance to downtown Charlevoix and the beach, the view is of busy US-31 and it is very noisy. It has also been over-loved to the point that a lot of little things were broken. The master bath door would not close, the sliding door blinds were a shambles, the master bedroom TV did not work and numerous lights were burned out. Altogether a good selection for people who want to be near everything and are not spending much time in the condo.

Can’t beat the location! Very clean.

We had a great trip. The location of this unit is amazing. My kids enjoyed watching the boats go through every 30 minutes. We were able to walk to the beach, downtown to eat and the lighthouse. You can walk along the canal on both sides down to Lake Michigan. The lighthouse side was very busy with people. Food around town was good and ice cream was good. We visited fisherman’s island for the day. Overall unit is filled with everything you need. We also used the pool and hot tub, we had it all to ourselves during the weekdays.

Bring your own toilet paper!

This rental is adequate but needs some TLC. No toilet paper, lightbulbs burned out, broken lamps and blinds missing pieces. Bright light from the hotel hallway shines in the bedroom window all night. Feels like daylight. Bring your eye covers. Description should say it’s located in the Edgewater Inn. Would make it much easier to find. Location is convenient and pool and Jacuzzi are nice but Sauna is not working. Probably wouldn’t rent again.

Great except that it wasn’t ready for us upon check in.

Great location Place wasn’t cleaned or ready for us at check in time Had to wait and check in 2 hours late so it could be cleaned. Property manager did t know it wasn’t cleaned or ready so I had to call her and tell her.

Great location

The location was excellent, within walking distance of everything. The property was as listed and very spacious. At check in we discovered one of the toilets didn't work and reached out to Anell. Got a response the next day that the maintenance request had been entered but it was not fixed during our 5 night stay.

This place was perfect. This unit was very clean and a great place to relax after skiing. .

Renting this unit was very easy via VRBO. There are some bad reviews for this building but they are not for this particular unit. We had a great time and the room was perfect.

Amazing location and unit. Everything was super clean and organized and superior. Beautiful pool and whirlpool and the boat view from the pool was unbelievable. Best trip ever!!
