The home is beautiful and has great amenities. The pool area and 3rd floor rooftop are excellent. Unfortunately, it rained for my daughter's wedding weekend and this house was perfect for Pivoting to inside activities. We actually used the home for pictures of the first look with her father as well as her fiancé. We did multiple pictures at the house as we could not do pictures outside at the venue. I don't know what we would have done without this spacious house. The bedrooms and baths were comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen/upstairs living room is perfect for entertaining. Mary was very accommodating and easy to work with. I would definitely rent this home again!

Mary's home is in the perfect location to enjoy all that Stone Harbor has to offer. Easily walkable to the stores and downtown area, and only a block off the beach! The park and recreation center across the streets makes for a quiet environment you and your friends or family can enjoy for a relaxing beach getaway. The home is perfect to host large groups with restrooms for each bedroom, multiple living rooms and even a heated pool. If you are looking to explore Stone Harbor I can't encourage this property enough.

Perfect vacation home for family gathering

This beautiful house is in a perfect location--2 short blocks to the beach; across from the Rec Center, and a few short blocks to "downtown". The house really looks like it belongs in a home design magazine. Well appointed, open floor plan, decks/porches/drink fridges/icemaker on every level, refreshing pool and outdoor cabana kitchen/TV and all the beach equipment anyone would need. The owner was helpful and very easy to work with.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious home. Our daughter got married in Stone Harbor and we were able to comfortably accommodate our family. The common areas were stocked with very much all you need to spend a memorable time there. We did not use the pool but it look clean and well kept like the rest of the outside areas. The beach is only a few short blocks away and there is beach gear stored that you can use. Communication with Mary was prompt, professional, helpful and cordial. We’d love to come back and stay at Rest A Shore again.

Rest A Shore - Stone Harbor Beach house

This house was wonderful! Light, bright & modern. Loved the decor! Plenty of room (we didn't even use all the rooms) and located one block off the beach. We attended a wedding in Stone Harbor and this house was close to the bus pickup and all the activities. It was supplied with everything we needed and we especially enjoyed the second floor balcony with the L shaped sofa. We spent most of our time out there! Everyone had their own elegant bathroom and the layout was perfect for our group. The only problem was we needed more time there! Our trip went so fast! We would certainly come back again. Amazing Space for a Family Stay

My family was looking for a single house in Stone Harbor that could house us as we gathered to celebrate the lives of my in-laws (who used to vacation in Stone Harbor). This place checked all of the boxes and provided a wonderful venue for the group of adult children and grandchildren, along with two young great-grandchildren. There is plenty of space to gather both inside and (when the weather cooperates) outside. For individuals who may struggle with stairs, it is possible to either stay on the first floor (small living area) or walk up the stairs once and make the second floor their home. Bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable -- and there are plenty of bathrooms. If you plan to swim and it is early in the season, reach out to the owner - she had the pool company turn on the heater for us. There is no hot tub - despite what the listing might say. The outdoor decks and porches give you the option of sun or shade. It is close to the beach and about a mile from downtown.The owner, Mary, was quick to communicate and great to work with. I highly recommend this home both in and out of beach season in Stone Harbor!

This house had everything we could ask for. The check in/out process was seamless and Mary was very attentive to any questions we had throughout our stay.

Best House in Stone Harbor!!

Such a perfect house to stay at! We had the most wonderful wedding weekend there. The house was very accommodating for my family as my son was getting married at the nearby ICONA Hotel. The owners of this home have thought of every convenience for the renters and they are the nicest people also. We wish them well with this beach house....we would LOVE to rent it again!

Wonderful house, luxury beach house with pool!

Outstanding house - wonderful amenities. Great new technology that is easy to use & works well - many large flat screen tv's, new luxury kitchen appliances, ice maker & mini fridge on each level. Bedrooms on 2 levels, nice for early risers & late sleepers - beds very comfortable. 3 decks, one on each level, and wonderful pool & cabana area - so much space, plus great room is huge. Easy walk to town, stores, restaurants, playground and beach. We loved our stay here!

This is the loveliest home I have ever stayed in. Modern, user-friendly and perfect in every way!!

Rest A Shore House has been a wonderful experience! We brought our family down to Stoneharbor for our son's wedding weekend. The home is brand-new with elite modern appliances and beautiful fixtures! The beds were extremely comfortable, even the pull out sofa! It's very nice to have four of the bedrooms and a living area on the first floor, since we had my 95-year-old mother. Its great that there is a pool!! My grandchildren were able to float on the inner tubes, even though the water was cold! (Middle of May). It's two blocks from the beach and less than nine very short blocks from the main shopping and eating area in Stoneharbor. It's also near a recreational area, as well as the Windrift and the Icona Golden Inn, where we had two of our wedding functions. The owner is phenomenal! She contacted me several times before our stay to make sure that we had up-to-date information about entering and using the property. And she was just a phone call away from periodic calls from me with questions about closing up. I couldn't have asked for a more congenial and helpful owner. We hope to rent this gorgeous property again. We are already trying to find a time in the near future with the rest of our family. You will LOVE this house!!!

Best rental we have stayed in!

This property is absolute perfection. The owner was more than accommodating when we decided to stay an extra night.. everything is so well thought out, it is a perfect house for a large family or group... if you have kids especially I highly recommend this property because of the location... there are basketball courts, playground, large fields across the street and that alone is priceless! You will not regret staying in this lovely home! We are definitely booking this week for next year!

Thanksgiving for 8

Beautiful house, in great condition that was totally ready for our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids), their assorted food, drink and baggage/sports equipment. Everyone had a room, everything was brand new and worked perfectly. We were also able to cook Thanksgiving dinner with everything that was provided. SHNJ is great this time of year too, especially with cooperative weather. The fireplace was a welcome addition though we were able to have breakfast on the second floor balcony. Third floor balcony was a nice touch too and would be a great party place in warmer weather. Mary was on top of everything and communicated throughout the process. I highly recommend this property.
