This 4BR, 2-bathroom home sleeps up to 12 and is the perfect homebase for your next Up North getaway. There is fun for all seasons close by. Whether exploring Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes (20 miles away), downhill/cross country skiing or golfing at Crystal Mountain Resort & Spa (13 miles away), meandering through the quaint town of Glen Arbor, hiking or biking on the Betsie Valley Trail across the street, fishing at the beach pier, snowmobiling on the Betsie River Trail, you're sure to have a memorable vacation in this home located steps away from downtown Beulah and the Crystal Lake Beach. After a day exploring all the area has to offer, take some time to relax and unwind on the front porch overlooking Crystal Lake and the beautiful sunsets.

This home comes fully equipped with WiFi, cozy furniture, a flat screen TV and plenty of games to entertain. The kitchen was recently remodeled and has everything you need to prepare meals for the whole family. If you don't feel like cooking, there are a variety of restaurants to choose from within a 15-min drive or take a short stroll to discover the tastes of downtown Beulah. There are 8 bikes, 2 kayaks, a beach wagon and at the end of day, a firepit for roasting those marshmallows for smores! All this and more is at your fingertips when you stay at the Blue Stone Cottage!

Quiet hours: The house is located in a family-friendly neighborhood. We ask guests to respect that and be quiet outside between10:00pm and 8:00pm.
Smoking/Candles: Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Similarly, candles and any other kind of open flame are also not permitted.
Grilling: Propane is provided. We ask guests to shut-off tank after grilling and clean out grill before checkout. Keep grill at least 5 ft from house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable and just loved the front porch and the seating space in the living room. Very quick response to all our questions. We would definitely stay in this property again.

Wonderful stay

A great location. Loved sitting on the screened in front porch watching the sunset over the lake. Rode bikes to Frankfort and back. Plenty of room for our family. Thoughtful amenities (beach towels, highchair). This was our second time staying at Mark's home.

Family vacation.

Great size for our family of 7. Kitchen well equipped. Friendly neighborhood and close to the beach. Minor issue with blowing a fuse twice but easily corrected with no further issues. It was in the mid 80's and there were only 3 air conditioner window units in the entire house. It could have used 1 more to cool the house down. The breezeway is great to drink morning coffee and people watch. RV park across the road but entire neighborhood was quiet. Charming town with restaurants and some shops. Close to other towns as well. Owner was so receptive to texts. Very spacious.

Great stay for family with kids

We had an amazing time staying at this beach house. The decor was fresh and beautiful, and there were lots of spaces for gathering and for privacy. The kids really enjoyed the bunkhouse style bedroom, and the beds were very comfortable. It was great to be able to use the kayaks in the garage and the fire pit out back. Although AC was listed, at least one of the bedrooms that was pictured in the listing with a window unit did not actually have one and it was sorely missed on the hotter nights of our stay.

Great place

The house was very clean and had a lot of room for everyone to gather in the living room area. There were ceiling fans in almost every room, which was helpful because only window air conditioners in a coulple rooms on the 2nd floor. It was just a short walk to the public beach on Crystal lake. The lake is beautiful, very clear. There was pickle ball and tennis courts just steps away from the house. We could walk to downtown Beulah to eat dinner. We enjoyed the house and would definetily stay there again.

Lovely home for vacations

Perfect location and nicely renovated. Bring an air pump if you want to bike ride but the bikes that are there are plentiful and nice. I would recommend this house.

Great Home to Share

We had a great time sharing this home for a few days to ski at Crystal Mountain. The location is about a 15 minute drive to the hill. There are restaurants in nearby Frankfort and a great breakfast spot in Beulah. We were happy to find a few open restuarants in the winter!The home is spacious and we easily had 2 families in this space. While we didn't cook much, there are all of the necessary conveniences in the kitchen. The home is clean and has a view of Cyrstal Lake. The house is quite old, so there were some issues with the bathroom door not closing properly. The heat is base board electric so it's a little dry, a humidifier would be helpful.We had a great time and would enjoy this area again, any season!

The property lived up to its name....charming. nicely decorated, very clean, cute, quiet area. Host was very helpful and quick to communicate any questions. Pefect set up to enjoy skiing at Crystal mountain.

Great Location, Clean Spacious Home

Great location, walkable to downtown Beulah and the beach. Quick drive to attractions in the area and Frankfort. House comes with a well supplied kitchen and was very clean. Beautiful enclosed porch where we ate every meal looking out at the lake. If we’re back in the area we’re staying at this property.

Crystal lake stay

Great location! 200 yard walk to the beach. The house was well equipped with toys to use! Close to downtown Beaulah and especially the deli with the great sandwiches and bagels. Great location for our stay.

Terrific house

We have stayed in the Frankfort/Beulah area for 14 years and this is the most perfect place we have found. Good location (walking distance to restaurants in Beulah), very helpful instructions, and thoughtful details -like multiple boxes of Kleenex in various rooms, scissors in the kitchen (!), steps for our little one to use in the bathroom, plenty of wastebaskets in bedrooms and bathrooms as well as in kitchen, travel crib for the baby, etc., that made it feel "like home" and a welcoming place. We are hoping to visit again next year!

Northern Michigan Beauty

Such a lovely place just across the road from Crystal Lake. Easy access to the public beach. Grandkids really appreciated using the kayaks and paddle boards that were available. House is nicely remodeled and furnished. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms were perfect for our family. Sunsets over the lake are amazing!

Perfect location

This property was even better in person than it appeared in the listing. It felt very spacious and nice views of the lake. Walking distance to Beulah beach, fishing pier, and shops. Property manager was responsive to a few questions, minor issues. We would definitely return.

Older but functional and affordable

Older property but all ages enjoyed. Stunning lake view, 9 bikes in garage to ride the short distance to town. Nicely furnished. Well stocked functional kitchen. Tight bathroom on main level. Not a luxury property but neither is the price. Communication was great, no problems. Short walk to public beach. We used the fire pit and brought a bunch of wood from home. Our Mothers’ day weekend was terrific!

Clean and Cozy Ski Weekend

Two families and a dog enjoyed hanging out in this clean, cozy place. It was only a 20-min drive to Crystal Mountain. We walked downtown for dinner to Five Shores Brewery one night and cooked in another night. It had all the utensils and cookware we needed to make our own taco bar. Views of the lake were beautiful. Would stay here again any time of year!

Sisters weekend getaway October

House was very comfortable for our large group of 7. Wish we had booked in the summer because the front porch is awesome. House is in a very beautiful area. There were bikes and kayaks to use but sadly our weekend was too cold and rainy

Beautiful view near town

Beulah is a little gem we didn't know about that is less traveled than Frankfort. This place has a great lake view, and you can walk into town with several excellent restaurants. There is plenty of space in the home that is very nicely decorated. I definitely would go back!
