Welcome to our Garden Retreat! This charming escape accommodates up to four guests with it's own private entrance and designated parking. Included are a Master bedroom with Queen bed, dresser, side tables, storage trunk, large closet and an Efficiency with Full bed, kitchenette, full size refrigerator, Keurig coffee pot, airfryer/toaster oven combo, rice cooker and a dining space offering picturesque garden views. The bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and conditioner, for your convenience. Roku TVs are in both rooms. Outside, relax in the garden and soak in the serene countryside ambiance. Experience the perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, where every detail is crafted to make your stay unforgettable. We are a part of a lovely Community with a pool and other shared amenities. The Sebring Garden Retreat was a very nice place! It is located in a very quiet area, but was also close to a Walmart and quite a few restaurants. It was very clean, had a comfortable bed, and had a bathroom that had nice lighting and an amazing shower. We will definitely stay here again when we make our annual trip to see family in Sebring.

It should be stated in "details" that there is no thermostat in the unit so heat (or air in summer) is totally dictated by host.

Dear Sherry, Thank you for your feedback. Your stay coincided with an extremely rare and historic cold weather event in Florida, with temperatures well below normal for several consecutive nights. unfortunately, those conditions affected the operation of the heat pump system, which is not something we had previously experienced. We communicated openly during your stay and made immediate efforts to find supplemental heating, though local stores were sold out due to the widespread impact of the freeze. The home is equipped with a Nest thermostat and standard climate controls; however the issue was weather-related rather than guest access or host control. We appreciate the feedback and continually review guest input to improve, especially when rare and unexpected events occur.

Garden Retreat

This space is beautiful with a private, tranquil patio. It is immaculately clean and new and graciously stocked with complimentary snacks. The location is convenient, yet close to walking trails and in a lovely neighborhood. The host was available, helpful, and super nice.

In my opinion it is a stretch to call this is a 2 bedroom. It's actually a 1 bedroom with a second bed in the kitchenette area. It was smaller than expected since it was advertised as 2 bedroom. The refrigerator is even in the closet. The photo shows the host house and not the apartment which is on the end. The host controls the temperature as there is no thermostat in the apartment. My companion and I arrived late and it was cold. There was only one extra comforter in the closet so we were both cold the first night. The host did provide 2 more blankets the next day and I think turned up the thermostat. There was no charming garden view looking out the window by the table and most of the plants along the walkway were brown. It was clean and in a good location. Communication with the host was good.

Your visit on February 22 followed an extremely unusual triple freeze in our area, and many plants throughout the region were unfortunately damaged by the cold, which affected the garden appearance at that time. As soon as we learned the temperature felt cool, additional blankets were provided the next day to ensure your comfort. The suite is described and photographed in the listing, and we always encourage guests to review the layout prior to booking so it meets their expectations. We appreciate your comments and are glad you found the space clean and communication good. We continue working to provide a comfortable stay for all of our guests.

Stay in Sebring

Not exactly 2 bedroom. 2nd bed in kitchen, dining area...not as a bedroom. Not suitable for a quest couple, maybe 2 children. Wash and dryer, had to arrange with owner to use in their garage. No oven or stove just toaster oven and microwave. No couch for sitting. Not welcoming for adult holidays of 4Could have been better advertised as a 1 bedroom studio for 2. Host was very welcoming and answered our questions.

We enjoyed having Patricia and Al at our Garden Suite but I just wanted to say that our description of the property was more than correct. We stated that the 2nd bedroom was an efficiency that contained double bed, kitchenette, dining table, refrigerator . We did not offer washer and dryer, but allowed her to use ours as a courtesy. We did not offer an oven or stove but did offer toaster oven and microwave. Also did not offer a couch but will consider that for the future.
