Este alquiler de ático tiene vistas panorámicas de Shelter Cove Harbour y Marina, donde se puede ver hasta Broad Creek. Esta villa tiene más de 2500 pies cuadrados de espacio habitable, lo que la convierte en uno de los pocos condominios Penthouse en Shelter Cove y Hilton Head Island en general. La cocina cuenta con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y gabinetes a medida. Hay una chimenea en la sala de estar y dormitorio principal. El baño principal cuenta con una bañera de hidromasaje con ducha separada. Cocine al aire libre en la parrilla de gas incorporada con vistas al puerto deportivo. ¡Se puede acceder fácilmente a la piscina comunitaria dentro del complejo Harbourside I! Muchos restaurantes y actividades están a solo unos pasos de este condominio. Los restaurantes dentro de esta área incluyen los excelentes mariscos de Ela, el mexicano de San Miguel, el Scott's Fish Market, Social Bakery y Bucci's Bar and Grille, por nombrar solo algunos. My family really enjoyed our stay. The location and views were unbeatable. The host was very helpful and courteous. Prospective guests should note that the host does not provide coffee or coffee accessories, just a drip coffee machine and mugs. This is the 10th vacation rental I’ve stayed in in the last 6 years but the first to not provide coffee.

We had friends with us the first part of the week & adult children the latter part of week. Everyone enjoyed the condo, location & the food. Very spacious condo.

Wonderful views

Great location near shops and restaurants. Loved looking at the marina with boats decorated for the holidays. Unit was exactly as pictured. Lots of great space for a family of 5.

Perfect Location

The unit was exactly as described. Comfy beds and well stocked with basic kitchen utensils, however, blender was broken. Great balcony overlooking boats and canal.

Beautiful location, but the condo has some safety hazzards

The condo is just beautiful and the location is ideal, but you need to be aware of some safety issues and general issues. The sliding glass doors are very old and it locks in a downward motion, so if you shut the door in the wrong way, you will be locked out and trapped on the patio ( which happened to us, including our kids, and we had to call 911). The 1st guess bedroom does not have cable; it has an amazon stick that is parental control locked so you can only watch a limited number of cartoons. Even maintenance could not fix it. The jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom does not work, but it does look pretty,

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Two thumbs up for Palmetto Dunes staff and ZERO thumbs up for the building management. Our stay at Harborside 1 for the third year in a row was AWFUL!! The property is on the 4th floor. My wife and I are 76 and the elevator was an easy access to the condo. The interior of the property was excellent, with two internal floors for 3 families a comfortable place to vacation. HOWEVER: on day 2 of our vacation 9 people [our family and us] were trapped on the elevator in the sweltering heat. The Fire squad came [because we dialed 911 from our cell phones] and using ladders rescued us after 1 hour or entrapment. The emergency call button on the elevator was not working. The remainder of our seven day trip my wife and I were trapped on the 4th floor since the stairway was too strenuous for us. We discovered that the building manager was responsible for the elevator and not Palmetto Dunes from whom we rented the condo. We called and left messages for the building manager and ZERO calls were returned or status given to let us know if the elevator would be fixed before Saturday check-out day. We got through to the building manager on the day the fire department shut down the elevator and were told we should have rented a condo in Harborside II because it has two elevators instead of Harborside 1. **The owner of this condo should take note. The Palmetto Dunes staff were easily accessible and friendly, calling us many times trying to get the elevator fixed before Saturday checkout. Still, they received ZERO cooperation from the building manager. The Dunes staff even offered to send their employees over to help us move out if the elevator was not fixed by Saturday. This 5-star service is exemplary and much appreciated. The building manager gets a negative 10 stars for ignoring us as guests and never calling us back.This was such an awful experience we don’t plan on visiting Hilton Head again with our family.

We want to let you know that the while the building maintenance team was negligent in dealing with you, they have been working on getting the elevator in better working condition. Beautiful days rough nights

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and the view from the balcony was really nice. Interior is a little dated but that doesn’t matter much. I was told the master bed was very comfortable but the room i was in and my brother in law was in did not have a very comfortable bed and bed related items. Some better mattresses, pillows, and bedding would help.

The penthouse is pretty, clean, and is conveniently located to all SC restaurants,stores, and Outside HH boat tours. You can even see the King Neptune statue/sundial from the balcony!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed watching fireworks from our unit, always had a parking space, shelter cove was awesome with music, shops and restaurants! The first floor bathroom was not clean, also dusty furniture , dinning room chair broken, light bulb was replaced in guest bedroom during our stay, furniture very outdated, rug In kitchen needs to be cleaned. Also - quest bathroom first floor- needs grout replaced in bathtub to avoid leaks in the future. I still would recommend property because of location and if cleaned well.

The air con worked really well. The beds were not comfortable. One dining room chair had a broken leg and we found out when my son sat on it. There were 5 forks. The shower in one of the guest rooms didn’t work well. Furniture on the balcony was wobbly and missing the stoppers on the bottom and had no cushions. These were small things that should have been addressed before we arrived. The location was excellent though. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony.

Pro's and Con's....

The penthouse is a nice size and has a nice floor plan. 3. Location is excellent.4. The penthouse was fairly clean, with some updates and with no noticable bugs.5. My wife loved the antiques in the penthouse.6. Excellent choice of televisions and placements.Con's;1.The couch and the chairs in the living room are stained. The balcony lounge chair cushions are stained and has mold on them. Needs cushions for the chairs on the balcony table set.2. The pots and pans needs to be thrown away and new ones purchased. Walmart has nice ones for low price. We purchased one to use.3. Both fireplaces are not usable.4. Not sure if the shower downstairs works. The shower in the upstairs guest bedroom did not work properly.5. The barbeque grill was filthy. We did NOT use it.5. Area rugs need to be changed. They've seen better days.6. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom does not work.7. The water was shut off without notice. It was eventually turned back on.8. Windows do not open.9. Paint needs to be touched up in some areas.

Great Family Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: this unit was very roomy for a family of 8 (grandparents, children and grandchildren). Everything was clean and well cared for. We did have a problem with the washing machine but this was remedied as promptly as possible and anyone staying now has a brand new washer! We like staying at Shelter Cove because there is so much for the kids to do in the evenings. Overall great unit and great vacation.

Penthouse Condo Disappointing Stay

We have been visiting Hilton Head for 30+ years. This property is in need of a paint refresh and the kitchen was quite lacking . We planned to eat in and had to eat out due to lack of usable pans. Very disappointing. The view from the condo and the location were great.

Great location, great place!

Loved this condo and we plan on renting it again next year, only problem was there was only enough hot water for 2 or 3 showers and the washing machine is VERY loud. We had an infant in our room and could only do laundry when he wasn't sleeping. We had to have some people shower at night and some shower in the morning due to the lack of hot water. Other than that this place was amazing! Great patio, location and tons of space!

Harbourside happiness

Plenty of room for 8. Great views of all the boats. Right in the middle of all the action but never loud or intrusive. Listen to the music play while relaxing on HUGE balcony. Pictures don’t do it justice. Management is very helpful.

Beautiful Views - wonderful restaurants!!

We were delighted in our visit to Shelter Cove & will hopefully be returning next year! We have never been to so many good restaurants - food, service, price points! Our accommodations were perfect for us! Loved sitting on balcony - reading, eating/grilling, & admiring the views! Thank you!!
