We had a great time during our week in this house. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had a great layout. The covered hot tub was perfect for chilly evenings and the couple of rainy days we had. The house was clean and the check in and check out process was easy.

Best Vacation!

This was our first time renting a house for our family vacation. It couldn't have been more perfect! The house was lovely and the perfect size for us. The pool was amazing!! Great since we had young kids with us! Our grandson even learn to swim!! We will definitely be going back!

Beautiful Sunrise

Our stay was great! Cute little cottage,well kept. WiFi not good. Could not watch TV this week. Downstairs bedroom could use a high velocity fan. A few little quirks but enjoyable and very peaceful. Check this place out.

Nice stay!

We loved having our own bedrooms! Toilets were dingy, and needed extra attention. The house backs up to a busy road, so be prepared with earplugs or white noise app on your phone if a light sleeper. Curtains in the bedrooms would be a great investment since the mini blinds don’t block the early morning sunlight. Plenty of everything in the kitchen, but better quality silverware would be good. Location is good for day trips to see the lighthouses. Would stay again, but would bring earplugs and sleep mask.

Pretty nice

The location was great and the house was awesome. The TV's are all Roku and internet was awful. We couldn't watch tv in the living room at all. We had a short in the hallway light that blow out for 15 minutes at 1:50 a.m. lite the whole house up. I was afraid of a fire. Other than that the trip was very nice.

Thank you for your feedback on this rental home. Occasionally storms can cause issues with internet and cable that will require modem/router boxes to be reset. However, this rental home uses a private internet/TV provider called Silicon Travel that provides immediate service to guests if they find issue with internet or TV, such as slowing internet. For future guests, if you ever encounter a cable problem, please call us or the number for Silicon Travel which is posted throughout the home. Silicon Travel has since reset the modem, which has brought back normal speeds and all TV channels. The owner has also come down personally to take care of the faulty hallway light. Thank you again for informing us. We're so happy that, aside from these issues, you were able to enjoy your stay and we hope to see you again!

Spring break vacation

We rented the property for spring break. Overall we had a very nice time. The property is walking distance from the beach, close to restaurants, grocery store, tourist attractions. The pool was not open, but the hot tub was. I think the place could have been cleaned better, some surfaces were dusty, the sofa covers had some spots. Also, the back of the house is right next to a main road and you can hear the passing cars especially early morning hours. Otherwise, nice property, very close to the beach!

Lovely Stay in Nags Head

Very lovely home. Everything you need. Pool and hot tub were perfect. Very prettily decorated. Great layout. SUPER comfortable beds. The only improvements we could ask for would be having a better fridge-we kept it on the recommended setting but some stuff still froze and a little extra effort in cleaning the stove and the baths. Quiet private neighborhood. Plenty of boogie boards, sand toys and chairs. Easy walk to the beach at the Epstein beach access. Cove Realty was very polite and quickly responded to all of our questions. They even checked in on us through the week 🙂Excellent stay! I wish we had booked for two weeks. We would definitely stay here again and use Cove Realty!

Great time

My family and I had a great time. The cottage has a perfect location for us. The pool was smaller than I expected and my Grand children were disappointed at first but after going over to the resort community pool they had a great time. I would recommend this rental. If it perfect for a small family or two couples with no more than 4 children. I hope that we can stay there again next year. I really couldn't find but just couple small things that are hardly worth mentioning one room had no ceiling fan and the box fan didn't work and the half bath didn't seem to work well but were fine. The staff at Cove were very helpful and friendly as well as all the staff at the resort. My grand children did not want to leave. Thank you all for a GREAT WEEK!

Great Beach House

We rented Tilli Tyme for a week in July. It's a great house, approximately one block from the beach. The layout of the house was perfect! 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom a half flight below the living room,dining room and kitchen area and 2 bedrooms a half flight above. This really helped minimize noise while our sleepers were snoozing. The pool is very small, but we really enjoyed having a pool. We didn't use the hot tub much because the weather was very warm. Included in this rental was access to the community pool and club, with beach access, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The only problem that we had was accessing the club and pool the first day. But a quick call to Cove Realty solved the problem. I'd highly recommend this house for family or friends!

Perfect little paradise

Our family stayed in this beach house from 6/23 to 6/30. We had a great time and were very comfortable. The house is located 1 block from the ocean on a cul de sac, you go to the end of the street and cross the road and the beach access is right there. Included with the house Is the country club which is almost right across the street. We could walk to the beach and to the country club. If you have children, the club offers many activities for them throughout the day also water aerobics and water Zumba in the morning for the adults. The beach house has a hot tub and a small pool (it was big enough for our family to enjoy). Most kitchen ware is supplied, dishes, silverware, pots and pans, also has a toaster and a coffee maker. The beds are very comfortable. The outdoor shower was also a plus. The Food Lion was very close by to get your groceries. The only complaint I would have is the week went by way too fast.

Great September Vacation

We stayed the week of Sept 16-23. The house is just as described and on a very quiet cul-de-sac. Very clean and nicely stocked with cookware and dishes. You will need to bring cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, spices etc.. The beds were comfy as well as the living room furniture. Downstairs bedrooms were 1 queen and 1 pyramid. Full bath. Upstairs was 1 king (attached bath) and 1 double. 1 half bath up 3 stairs from living area. The pool was really nice with plenty of chairs for lounging. It's in a fenced in area and very private. The beach access is very close with a large parking area and restrooms. Lifeguard station is also right there. Close to shopping and restaurants. We had beautiful weather until the end of the wk when hurricane Idalia. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked again for 2024. The 1 and only negative thing I would say is the carpet needs a serious cleaning. It is pretty stained throughout the living area and as a renter.. that was a big turn off for me and was the 1st thing I saw when I came up the stairs. If you are like me and read the reviews I hope this helps in your decision to rent this lovely little cottage.

Disappointed

We had an urgent need to call 911 when the ceiling fan in one of the rooms started emitting a burning smell. In regards for our safety and that of the seven children with us we quickly evacuated the property at 10 Pm at night. The very responsive firemen found that there were some faulty wires and this situation could have become Much worse if it continued to burn. The firemen assured us our realty company would fix it immediately and we shouldn’t have a problem. It was almost halfway through our vacation by the time our ceiling fan was fixed. Cove realty did not make us a priority and did not seem concerned at all that we were standing in the driveway with seven young children while we were waiting for the all clear from the firemen. We called and called and still it took more than a day for this matter to be resolved. When we expressed that we didn’t feel like a priority the realty company suggested we find somewhere else to stay. Did I mention we had seven children with us?! In the second to last week of August? All in all the property was fine other than the dusty ceiling fans but we will never stay with this company again. We have never felt so neglected at a vacation stay in our lives. We were offered NOTHING in return for our ordeal. Not even a doughnut.

We're sorry you experienced the malfunctioning ceiling fan during your stay, but am very happy that the fan was immediately disabled to prevent a safety hazard. Unfortunately, this issue had to be handled by a professional electrician to ensure that the job was handled properly, so while the fan's wiring had been immediately capped on Sunday morning, unfortunately this room went without a ceiling fan until the next day, Monday. I see in the reservation notes that you called a number of times on the day that the fan was capped, requesting to have a new ceiling fan in the room that day, but due to the time constraints for the electrician's return, the owner could only offer a full refund to you and your family to find other housing in case you still felt unsafe. While we're happy the electrician was able to install a new fan for you during your stay, I'm sorry that you felt that we did not work diligently enough in this matter. We do hope that, aside from this issue, you were able to enjoy your stay.

Great, Restful Time

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was restful and gave us a time to reset/ recharge. Beach was only a couple blocks away. Great place to walk on Virginia Dare Trail. The hot tub was divine. Very private on a cul de sac. Will visit again in the future.

Lots of room and things to do in the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was perfect for us as we had two couples and we each had our own floor and bathroom. The kitchen and open plan was very spacious and there is a upper 1/2 bath and also a laundry room. Outside had a lot of different choices for entertainment. A small private pool with chairs. A little cook out area. A different hot tub area with outside shower. There is an upper deck area and a short walk to cross a road that leads to the beach and that area has bathrooms and outdoor showers. We found a lot to do in that we visited 3 light houses, the sand dunes, the Wright Brothers museum and the very nice city of Duck. We enjoyed nice dinners and had plenty of ice cream at The Spot. Our first choice in dinning was the Sugar Shack as the food was great and prices were the best value but all the places were good.
