Loved the location…just.a few steps to the beach. Really great food trucks across the street. Boardwalk made for easy access to the beach. The stairs were hard for us but we knew that before we booked. Host was easily accessible.

This home is right on the beach -- just walk outside and you're there! We love just going out on the balconies and watching the waves. The home had everything we needed and is very comfortable. This is one of our favorite places to stay in Mexico Beach!

2025 Vacation

My family and I enjoyed staying here. It was very clean, beautifully decorated and had a well equipped kitchen, and an outdoor shower. We love being right on the beach!! Norman and Joanna were wonderful to work with! We will definitely be back!!

Nice condo, perfect for our family. Easy access to the beach. We are so glad to see Mexico Beach rebuilt after hurricane Michael. Also close to great restaurants in Mexico Beach as well as nearby Port St. Joe.St. Joe.

Great place in a perfect spot

We really enjoyed this place during our vacation. It has an outdoor shower when you come off the beach and plenty of room on the ground level to leave your things for the next beach run. The planked beach access is shared with the neighboring condo and takes you directly to the sand. Our 2 and 5 year old had a blast. There are (4) different food trucks less than 100 yards from the back door. We will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, this was a one and done! Fri check in...no trash bags, not even in the trash can, nothing to wash/dry dishes with, no hand towels in the bathroom, no hand soap in 2/3 bathrooms, a used roll of paper towels and no internet! We informed the host and they were very engaging and said they would contact the internet provider and property manager.Sat…internet still down, the host said they would be back Sun and assist by bringing us the supplies or if we had to buy anything they would pay us back. The next two days Sun/Mon we could hardly get a response from the host. The internet was still down and the supplies never showed up. Mon the host was informed again that the internet was still down. We asked if there was a PM to assist us? No answer! Tue morning, we called customer service and reported the issues we were having. They contacted the host and a few hours later we received a message saying they would have the supplies dropped off by 5pm and would contact the internet provider. Tue afternoon we got most of the supplies. We were also informed that an internet rep would be out Thu between 1-5. Wed morning the host apologized and asked if we received the supplies. Thu afternoon around 3 we had internet. The next day was our checkout day.Stunning views and clean. The stairs were plentiful, 15 to the main floor, living room, kitchen, half bath and laundry room. Then another 15 to the master bedroom/bath, spare room and 2nd full bath.

Our Resort On Mexico Beach

Sand Between Your Toes was the first VRBO property I rented. And I hit the jackpot.I contribute one priceless vacation and experience because we chose to stay here. My mother had just passed from a complicated disease and spring break was approaching. I thought taking my high school aged daughter, God Daughter and her mother - my bestest friend - to the beach would be a perfect way for us to recalibrate, have a change of pace and make happy memories, I wanted a retreat in a home away from home. This property checked every box on my list. Once booking the rental, I received an email from Norman, our host. His LOVELY personality and gracious spirit beamed from every word welcoming us to Mexico Beach, thanking us for choosing his home and wanting to know how he could help make our vacation the best. I shared our unique circumstances and let him know we needed a vacation for healing, celebrating and fun. Norman going over and beyond to make our time together priceless, is an understatement. When we arrived and walked into his GORGEOUS rental . . . we were “home”. Waiting for me was a letter of heartfelt condolences and encouragement from Norman AND for all the most mind blowing welcoming gifts, pizza in the freezer, drinks in the refrigerator . . . he did set the tone for one incredible vacation.Our expectations were overly surpassed. We left refreshed, healed and with priceless memories. Thank you Norman (and his wife Tammy) for such a blessing!
