La Majada Alta se encuentra dentro de un Parque Nacional, y se encuentra en varios miles de metros cuadrados de terreno privado en un área de excepcional belleza de las montañas y lagos. La casa es ideal para los que van a disfrutar de los relajantes sonidos de las campanas de cabra o la llamada del búho real o la visión de las águilas flotando por encima. Esta también es una base ideal para el visitante más activo que encontrarán satisfacción de los hermosos paseos, los lagos, los pueblos blancos, la famosa garganta de El Chorro, sin olvidar las espectaculares formaciones de piedra caliza de El Torcal.

Los recursos de la playa de Torremolinos, Fuengirola y Marbella (Costa del Sol) son alrededor de 1 hora y media en coche de la casa. Las playas atlánticas de Tarifa son aproximadamente 3 horas.

One of the best experiences I have had in traveling. This cottage is delightful in every way- peaceful and homey, well equipped, and in a gorgeous setting. I will always remember our meals outside, reading by the pool, and hilly walks. Colin and Francesca have made a very special place, and while we hail from Ohio and Michigan, everyone will benefit from their time spent here. I wish we had booked for much longer and used this as our base for shorter trips.

We are from Houston and stayed here in this charming 19th-century cottage for two nights, from January 2nd to 4th. One of the best stays we've ever had. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive. He responded quickly to our messages and gave us advice on things we hadn't even thought of, making our stay much more enjoyable. It was clear that he knows the area very well and is used to having guests. He helped us a lot and gave us great tips. The house is a dream, situated in a magnificent location with beautiful views. The mountain visible from the front porch is stunning. Colin explained everything about the house and left us plenty of firewood and supplies for the fireplace, which was one of the things we enjoyed most. Definitely 100% recommended.

Sie hatten zwei Schornsteine mit unbegrenztem Brennholz und wir haben Ihnen sogar mehr Holz in Ihrer gewünschten Größe geschnitten. In jedem Schlafzimmer gibt es Heizungen sowie einen leistungsstarken Gashasser und eine tragbare Elektroheizung. 7 Möglichkeiten, sich !! warm zu halten Es tut uns leid, dass es bei Ihnen nicht so gut funktioniert hat.

A really magical stay. The views from the house are amazing, from both the front and rear terraces. To the rear you see the national park and hills, to the front you have close proximity of you own personal mountain. The house has everything that you need. The kitchen has everything, and more importantly is a very easy space to cook and prepare, whilst others drift around you! The short drive to the village gives also amazing views, past herds of goats with bells. Colin is very helpful and encouraged us to visit the local fiesta whilst we were there, which offered super paella at 2 euros a head. We have already booked for next year.

A beautiful property if your looking for a quiet stay in beautiful surroundings. We had an excellent stay. Colin was just absolutely brilliant. So helpful at answering my questions about the area and what was worth visiting. He was so helpful when we met him after driving from the airport. He took us to a local shop to buy supplies and took them in his car to the Villa. The Villa was just wonderful a well stocked kitchen with utensils, which so many villa's are not. A great BBQ lovely pool and cool rooms to sleep in the evenings with Air-con. All the family had a great time.

Another wonderful week in this beautiful villa

We love the remoteness, yet easy access to local villages and towns. The villa itself is amazing, 3 large double bedrooms, huge lounge. Lots of places to eat inside and out. And a wonderful good sized pool, and spectacular views with eagles overhead.

Great Stay

This is a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset, sunrises, etc. It is very peaceful, clean and spacious. We wished we could have spent more time here. The pool was very refreshing after some long hot dates of traveling. The host is very helpful and friendly.

Paradisiac cottage surrounded with nature

A dream house

Goats Galore!

perfect home to visit Camino del Rey. views to die for. mountain goat visits at the pool was a highlight. Baby goats born recently learing to trek, never gets boring watching. Colin was most excellent host and his house is amazing. house was clean and everything worked and in good repair. pool was clean and nice that pool towels provided. had dinner on the back patio 2 nights and will never forget it...moonlight and stars lit up the mountain peak above and the valley sky below...and as a total bonus, not a single mosquito bite!

Absolutely stunning.

A beautiful property in a picture perfect location. Clean and fresh and I thought it felt bigger than in the pictures. The host was easy to get in touch with and showed us to the property from the local village. I will miss sitting outside and admiring the gorgeous 360° views.

A get away from it all place with plenty to do!

Stayed at La Majada Alta for two weeks and had a fantastic time, the property had everything we needed for a family of 5 and was quiet and very peaceful. Stunning views and lots to see and do in the surrounding area. Local village has everything you will need during your stay and is approx 7km (10 min by car). Colin and Francesca are extremely helpful and will help out with any questions you may have. Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Beautiful and relaxing

The House and garden with pool was even better than its description. Very spacious for a family of four and very good value for your money. During the heat wave in Spain, we could still enjoy a breeze that made even the middle of the day comfortable. Colin arranged for everything needed, we only had to enjoy our stay.
