"Casa EL Rueo" es una casa típica de Andalucía, está ubicada dentro de una finca totalmente vallada, lo que le proporciona un carácter totalmente privado. Un lugar maravilloso.
Casa con dos cocinas y dos áreas de comedor, dentro y fuera, gran salón con chimenea, dos dormitorios y baño con ducha. Gran zona exterior, con piscina privada, barbacoa, cenador, parking privado, columpio, fuente, ducha, aseo. Todo rodeado de árboles y plantas.
Es una casa ideal donde encontrar paz y tranquilidad, para aquellas personas amantes de la naturaleza, para los que disfrutan oyendo el canto de los pájaros u observando un atardecer de ensueño. También para aquellos que quieran disfrutar de una buena copa de vino andaluz bajo un cielo repleto de estrellas.
La casa está situada en una finca privada, llena de árboles y plantas, donde los pájaros y otros animales salvajes viven en plena naturaleza. Aquí usted podrá practicar un montón de actividades al aire libre: senderismo, mountain bike, fotografías, etc....
Un paraje muy tranquilo donde la casa típica andaluza, su maravillosa piscina privada, la barbacoa, el cenador exterior y todo su entorno consiguen trasladar al huésped a un estado de tranquilidad y relajación absoluta.

A wonderful villa with everything we could want

We had a wonderful stay in Casa El Rueo. The villa is in a great mountain location on the outskirts of Almogía and very well equipped. It is the perfect base for exploring the Malaga/Granada/Cordoba areas of Andalusia. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the extensive gardens and made good use of the outdoor kitchen and pool.Therese and Jose were the perfect hosts and were always happy to give us advice on the local area. We would recommend Case El Rueo to anyone planning to visit the area.

Hosts were fantastic. Villa has everything you need.. has a great outdoor BBQ area next to the pool. Inside the villa is spotless and ver spacious, supermarket and restaurants are a 7 min walk.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would say that the owners were the most welcoming and hospitable of any we have experienced. The house itself is a reasonable size and had all the amenities we could want (a bit like home from home). Provided you have a car then its reasonably well located to reach many places of interest.

Exactly what we hoped for a peaceful retreat in the Spanish hills.

This villa was very clean well maintained exactly as described a fabulous place to relax , with the perfect environment to holiday and unwind under the Andalusian sunshine. Absolutely immaculate perfect property

You will be in a home from home in Jose & Teresa’s beautiful Andalusian house. The pool is huge and gorgeous, the house is well stocked and absolutely spotlessly clean. The area is private and quiet. Be aware that the restaurants in the town only serve evening food on the weekend, but there is a great supermarket only 5 minutes drive away. The hosts were absolutely excellent and helped us whenever we needed. We would happily stay again!

Absolutely stunning mountain villa

Theresa@jose were fantastic hosts,very helpful and informative of the area.Personally showed us around the villa and came to say goodbye on our departure. A peaceful retreat

When we arrived I was surprised to realise I’d booked a house set in its own grounds. It is by far the best accommodation I have ever rented for a holiday at this price. The house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. My friends and I wanted to walk, read and rest - this beautiful house proved to be ideal. Jose and Teresa were so friendly and supportive- knowing they were at the end of the telephone added to the experience, nothing is too much to ask. In summary - wonderful holiday venue in a beautiful natural setting with lots of walks and nature to enjoy.

Lovely place, great hospitable owners.

The house is located in a beautiful spot with lots of space and privacy. The owners, José and Therese, welcomed us very hospitably with a beautiful fruit bowl and a well-stocked fridge. A real welcome. A car is a prerequisite to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Be sure to visit El Torcal. Also bring binoculars to spot the animals from the house. We would like to come back again. The perfect villa

Teresa & Jose are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond any other property owners we have encountered encountered. The villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable and exactly the way it was listed. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The setting of the villa was beautiful with scenic mountain views. The pool was at a perfect temperature and regular cleaned and maintained by Jose during out stay. We loved the small town of Almogia with its great selection of bars and cafes. Without a doubt the best property we have ever rented. Many thanks Jose and Teresa. We hope to be back soon.

José and Theresa are great hosts with a great humanity. They are always available to meet all our expectations. The villa is exceptional and very safe for children. We can enjoy the villa in all tranquility. All the facilities in the villa and the pool are very good. A holiday to remember

We chose this house based on the excellent reviews we have read. So we rented the house for 2 weeks and we were very happy to have stayed here! The house is exactly as in the pictures. The pool and the surroundings as the house itself were immaculately clean. Jose and his lovely family were so friendly that we consider them as friends. Nothing was too much to ask and they were always very helpful. The mountain views were unbelievable. We really enjoyed our holiday in Almogia and cannot wait to be back in July 2017! Thank you Jose, Teresa (x2) and Carmen. We miss you.

Perfect holiday home in a perfect location

This characteristic Spanish holiday home had everything one would need for a splendid vacation: a beautiful setting and full amenities in and around the house. Th kitchen was well provided and the beds were excellent. We received a very friendly welcome and had good communication both in English and Spanish with the owners José and Terésa during our stay; The fridge was provided with beer and fruits, the stove wit woodfire, and the swimming pool with (cold) water. The location in Almogia is very suitable for walks in the direct surroundings (maps available) and in the mountain range of El Torcal de Antequerra. Malaga is only 15 kms of curvy road away. The only minor point (but not related to the owners): there were a lot of barking dogs at night in the neighbourhood.

Unique location with excellent hosts

This is a very unique place, and we completely enjoyed it. Orange, pomegranite, avocado, olive and Lemon trees on the grounds, which cover quite a large patch of scenic hillside. Great layout for a small family, even a second bathroom out behind the outdoor kitchen, which was completely unexpected. Jose and Teresa were so helpful and friendly, and were very interested in ensuring we had a great stay. You're going to need a car, but we really enjoyed the driving around Almogia and the immediate area. We're used to wider roads, but it made it fun. The weather (third week of March) did not allow for us to spend too much time around the pool, but it would be a great spot on a hot day. If you want to be in a rural (but not too rural) setting, this place is an excellent choice.

We can’t thank Teresa and Jose enough, our stay at their amazing Villa it was fantastic. The Villa was absolutely spotless; everything that you would ever need in the kitchen, the lounge area was cosy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and I loved the furniture. The summer kitchen looked amazing, it had everything that you would need for outside living, but as we stayed in November we were unable to use this fantastic facility. But we did have breakfast outside with the lovely views of the surrounding hills. We did have a quick dip in the pool, which in summer months would be very welcomed. Teresa and Jose were fantastic host, nothing was too much trouble, they would answer any query that we had, giving us helpful advice on everything. We would defiantly recommend going to El Torcal and Cameninto Del Rey (which you must book online in advance) two spectacular trips, which were very reasonably priced. We took a trip to Malaga on the local bus, which was on time and made a change to let the driver speed you through to Malaga bus station. We had a good day visiting many attractions, we will definitely be returning for a longer visit. The only downside to our holiday was that it was too short!!!, we would have loved to stay much longer. One thing for sure, is that we will be returning. Thank you so much to Teresa and Jose, they have an amazing Villa, we would 100% recommend a holiday there.

Wonderful House

We ( myself, wife, 18 year old son and girlfriend) stayed at Jose and Teresa's villa in Almogia for 2 weeks, (during the group stages of the world cup!!). From the initial enquiry, directions, to arrival, communication from Jose was friendly, prompt and excellent. We were met on arrival and their villa is in a quiet peaceful location and was spotlessly clean with everything you could want. Plenty of space inside and outside with lots of nice plants around the villa. The pool was cleaned every other day by Jose, but it didn't attract lots of insects or vegetation to clean out in between anyhow. Thankyou Jose for the fruit, we had fresh orange juice every day with breakfast and he told us to top up the fruit from his garden on the hillside which we did. Almogia is about 30 minutes by car from Malaga, a nice drive up through the hills with nice scenery. Lots to see and do within an hours drive, recommend the caves at Nerja, Cablecar at Benalmadina, Cliffside path at Caminito del Ray if you dare, (and can work out the instructions for entry) Botanical gardens just outside Malaga, Cathedral, Alcazabar and the Picasso museum in Malaga. Or just drive in the mountains and past the resevoirs. Thankyou Jose and Tereza, you are very nice people and if we stay in the Malaga region again we will contact you to see if you villa is available. Pity about Spain getting knocked out of the world cup early - come on England!! Regards Lyndon and Pauline

Andalusian paradise

We really enjoyed staying 10 nights in this very special place, Teresa and Jose prepared for us! My wife and I travelled France and Spain for 6 weeks in october and november with our two kids (2 1/2 years and 3 months old) and experienced a lot of fantastic places, but this one we truely loved most. The house is embedded in the andalusian mountains near Almogia and there is a lot do, like visiting Malaga, Ronda or Granada or hiking some of the great trails around. Still, because of the gorgeous house and its large surroundings, we spend most of the time at home :) That way we were able to have some really relaxed days and nights at the outside pool or at the fire place inside. Even in november it was still warm enough to spend some time in the water! In our opinion, the place is more beautiful than one can see on the pictures and inside we found everything we needed for cooking, washing, playing, reading etc. Of course, everything is really clean and we felt at home right from the beginning. As other visitors stated before, the most exciting thing when we visited Teresa and Jose`s place, was the warm welcome and very friendly service by them throughout the stay. We felt like visiting friends, such as some relatives you only meet some times in life. They recognized we could need something even before we noticed ourselves and would fix any problem immediately. With them we got the chance to dip into Andalusia, when Jose explained to us his garden with its many fruit trees or when talking to them about daily life that side. We can fully recommend the place to everyone who is looking for some real andalusian vacations away from mass tourism but still wants to be near that places of interest. My wife and I are quite sure we will come back!

La casa es muy bonita. No le falta absolutamente nada. José y Teresa muy muy buena gente. Pendientes de que nuestra estancia fuese de diez sobre diez. Volveremos y recomendaremos sin dudarlo. La limpieza, la comodidad, la decoración....todo, absolutamente todo de diez. Gracias por hacer que nuestras vacaciones fuesen perfectas. La localización es totalmente lo que buscábamos o mejor. Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Casa El Rueo fue construida en 2006, la construimos en una finca que ha pertenecido a mi familia desde hace mas de 100 años. En esta casa mis hijas, mi marido y yo vivíamos durante los fines de semana y las vacaciones de verano. Hemos vividos momentos muy divertidos. En verano disfrutamos con la estupenda piscina y en invierno de la acojedora chimenea interior. Es maravilloso poder disfrutar del sol de Andalucía en su zona exterior, poder mirar el cielo lleno de estrellas o escuchar el canto de los pájaros
En el año 2015 decidimos alquilar la vivienda. Normalmente a familias con uno o dos niños, aunque también es muy frecuentada por matrimonios y parejas de todas las edades.
Mi familia y yo os invitamos a pasar unas maravillosas vacaciones acompañados de vuestros seres queridos.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Casa El Rueo, ofrece a sus huéspedes una tranquila estancia apartada de la gran ciudad, pero cerca de ésta. Por su ubicación ofrece un montón de privacidad.
Es la casa ideal para pasar las vacaciones con su pareja o su familia, durante todas las épocas del año.
Casa El Rueo, disfruta del Sol 300 días al año, desde el amanecer hasta el atardecer. Lo que facilita e invita a utilizar la cocina exterior de verano, durante todas las estaciones del año.
Su proximidad a la Costa del Sol y a Málaga capital, permite a sus huéspedes viajar durante el día a las zonas de ocio, visitar monumentos, museos, degustar el 'pescaito frito' de sus bares, etc.. Al regreso del viaje, usted podrá relajarse en su acogedor ambiente, donde disfrutar de una cena elaborada en la cocina de verano y degustarla bajo las estrellas.
Después de la cena, usted podrá conectarse a internet (wifi) para planear el viaje del día siguiente o, si lo desea, quedarse en la casa de vacaciones El Rueo, divertirse en la piscina, tomar el sol, dar paseos por los alrededores y disfrutar de la naturaleza en este paraje tan fantástico.
