The beds were comfortable and the house was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was equipped well enough for our purposes. The washer/dryer were a lifesaver. The only complaint was a musty smell in the livingroom.

Great location and space

We had the chance to stay at this very cute house for a weekend. It was the perfect size for our group of 5 and close enough to all the locations we wanted to visit while still feeling like we were out of the city. Loved that we could catch one bus to get to and from Lumen field!

Very accommodating, everything you need to call home. Had a few issues but manager accommodated promptly. Comfortable beds and good water pressure. Would stay again.

Exceeded Expectations

My family and I had a wonderful experience staying at this property! Its central location is unbeatable and the pictures do not do the property justice! The home is cozy, yet has plenty of space for a family of 4! Check in and check out as easy peasy with just the right amount of communication from the hosts. 10/10 would stay again!

Comfortable, great location

We stayed in this house for a few days. We found the house comfortable, spacious and clean. James was very friendly and available for communication, and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be back when our next Seattle trip rolls around.

Inside the cupboards, could’ve been cleaner the stove oven could’ve been cleaner the drawer to the stove the refrigerator had stuff stuck to the shelves it smelled like they sprayed for pesticides in there, and they tried to hide it with Febreze plug-ins we had unplug them all

Great Stay!

Such a fantastic stay at this location in Centeal Seattle. I can’t say enough good things about it. I loved that parking was available and easy. I liked the house location. Close to everything in central Seattle. Great coffee houses and restaurants within walking distance. Nice community. It was a clean place. Definitely worth the money we paid and then some. Would definitely stay again!

Nice Seattle Stay

This house has great access to all of metro Seattle and is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Kitchen was adequate for prepping basic meals, beds were comfortable, shower was hot. Hosts were efficient and communicated all the information clearly. A perfectly acceptable alternative to a basic hotel. The fact that it is pet friendly is the big selling feature as it is hard to find reasonably prices, pet-friendly accommodations here!

Great neighborhood, great location to where we needed to go. Check in we had issues getting front door open and back door lock stuck and was difficult to open and close. The house had a muggy mold smell to it. The upstairs rooms were warm and the fans provided didn't cool them off. There was no mention of people downstairs until I asked about it. The upstairs balcony was rotted and in need of repair. There was a note on the door not to use and just frost covering to cover middle of door. The hosts were easy to talk to.

The house is perfect for a medical trip down to Swedish Cherry Hill. The owners responded quickly to communications. The house is 2 stories with 3 bdr, 2.5 bath. We were here 11 days. This couldn't have felt safer, super walkable to groceries--max 15 minutes, lots of eateries, Trader Joe's and a community Co-op. Just a 5 minute walk to hospital. The house is old with character. Bring slippers as the stairs are hardwood and can be slippery. There are a few things in cupboard left from previous renters but expect to buy what you need except tea and coffee, salt/pepper. Most of the streaming has a login already so watching hulu, paramount, prime video, etc was no problem. Beds are firm but comfortable. Washer/dryer available, all appliances in good working order. Leather couch and loveseat are comfortable. Street parking says Permit Only so we parked in the back the entire stay. Lots of good food closeby but we cooked in a lot. Cookware is adequate, knives aren't terribly sharp but fine, it's a rental. We would stay here again, especially for medical travel.

Good, but could have been better.

The location of this property is outstanding. It is located in a neighborhood that had quite a few places to eat and hang out within a few blocks. It is close to the University and just a short Uber from the waterfront area.When we first arrived to the property, we parked in the back and entered through the backdoor. The first thing I will say is that the smell in this house is terrible. We opened the windows on both floors as well as the back patio door, and it helped some, but the smell was pungent and even after 2 days at the property, we could just never get used to it.Next, there is a lower level unit that has a door in the back yard. There is a door in the house that has a turn lock (not deadbolt) that leads downstairs. I was not 100% comfortable with the fact that I was sharing the house with another person and no where is this mentioned in the ad - You can clearly hear the people down there talking or fighting. Also note that if you are using the back yard parking, you need to keep your vehicle over to one side to allow their car to park there too.The cleanliness of the property was good enough in most of the spaces - clean showers, toilets, and surfaces... The floors were mostly clean. The window sills all had mold and dirt caked in them and the tub and sink in the 2nd floor bathroom did not have stoppers to hide the gunk in the drains.This was a new property when I booked, but clearly there is a bit of work to be done here.

Horrible smell and very dirty. Do not recommend.

Upon arriving, we tried to enter through the backdoor but it would not unlock as the deadbolt does not clear the strike-plate. I contacted the managers but no resolution. Used key in lock box to get in. Major inconvenience with only 1 key. The front door has a deadbolt that requires a key from the outside AND INSIDE. WA State building codes do not allow deadbolts on exterior doors that require a key to open from the inside. These types of locks, also known as double-cylinder deadbolts, are specifically prohibited in WA State. Definitely a hazard if there was a fire or emergency! Immediately noticed a terrible smell – a mix of humidity, mildew, mold, sewer and animal - place has mold issues which is contributing to the smell. I saw someone living below- not mentioned in the ad. This property was not clean. Microwave, oven, vent, coffee cups were dirty. Window sills were dirty/moldy. Top balcony rotting and looked structurally unsound making lower balcony unsafe to use. Decaying baseboards and ants in lower bathroom. Outside back door bottom step missing. No bathroom sink stopper, toilet seat loose. Comfortable beds and linens appeared clean. No smoke detector on main floor, curtains don't fit window, trash can hinge is tearing hole in drywall. We have many pictures.
Overdue for a cleaning.
Missing main level smoke detector.
Ants in main level bathroom with decaying baseboards.
Dirty dishes in cupboard.

Nice house. Fresh linens and good kitchen. No air conditioning upstairs. Probably not necessary most of time… but it was hot first days of our stay. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Cute neighbor near downtown. Fun restaurants and bars in walking distance.

We had a great time in Seattle with our grandson. Back door lock needs to be redone as it was impossible to access. Rooms were very adequate. Cleaning could be a bit more detailed but overall ok.

Spacious, with more than enough room for the 4 of us. Three queen beds is a huge plus as well as upper room balcony. It’s in a fantastic quiet neighborhood in the Central District, with diverse set of food options nearby along with grocery stores or small markets. The streets are lined with historic homes (1900 era) and majestic old trees making for delightful strolls and chats with friendly neighbors. A 5 minute walk down the street is Chuck’s Hop Shop, which has a huge offering of local beers and ciders on tap and even more options by the bottle. There is a steady rotation of food trucks, so that you can grab a beer and food and enjoy at the outside picnic tables. Only minor complaints: not a lot of extras in the house, especially if you’re looking to cook some meals. We made do, but kept it very basic when we cooked. There were no paper towels or napkins, no soap for dishwasher, and no soap for washing machine. We hand washed dishes, but there was no rack for drying. Would consider staying here again because of location and spaciousness. Due note, it is very walkable to downtown and waterfront, but be prepared for a fairly significant uphill on the return.
