Consider this cottage your home away from home while you visit the Wisconsin Northwoods. The cottage on 2 acres provides private retreat on tranquil Grass Lake. Use the 2 kayaks available for guests or bring your own and watch the eagles. After kayaking or a trip with the paddle boat, relax on the deck with beautiful views of the lake. Play kickball or cornhole on the front lawn. Free parking with access to ATV trails. Restaurants, state park and other trails nearby. One hour away from Lambeau Field. Book now and enjoy this cottage. Please note: Grass Lake is a private and no-wake lake. shallow with a soft bottom. Enjoy the lake views from non-motorized boats or from the dock. Swimming is not advised due to shallow depth and soft bottom. For swimming and boating, there are several lakes within 5-10 minutes.

Our stay was not typical. First the location is great, lots of room, big deck, peaceful lakeside. We had to cut our stay short because of a recurring issue with a gas leak. The owner lives in Las Vegas. Responses to phone msg and texts varied. This would not have been a big problem except for the urgency of our particular situation. Coordination issues with local caretaker/utilities ultimately contributed to our early departure. There was an initial attempt to repair but the problem reoccured. Waiting on a follow-up repair was not going to work for us.The owner was gracious and apologetic. She did give us a refund. I believe the location has a lot of positives. I wish we would have had more of an opportunity to enjoy them..

The good: Place was clean and quiet. Pretty location. The bad: Place had a strong propane odor. Owner was notified but blew us off. No extra T.P. in the house.

Everything was great, good price. The only thing I didn't like is that the lake was just for looking at, It's very shallow and I took a stick to test what kind of bottom it was and right off the dock it went down about 3 feet of muck. If you don't plan on going in the water it's a GREAT place.

Lake no good for swimming, house has carpenter ant problem! Owner aware that showers have a problem with controlling water temperature- Scalding! And has not corrected it, but made an attempt to correct it and ant problem during our stay!

Crivitz quite retreat

Beautiful 3 bed 2 bath home on Grass Lake just outside of Crivitz. The home had everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay. I would highly recommend a stay here if you're looking for peace and quite in the beautiful north woods.

A wonderful stay!

We spent two glorious weeks at Joann’s lake cottage and enjoyed every moment of it! The cottage sits on a large piece of property with a short stroll down to the waterfront. A beautiful view from the cottage as well!Joann was kind & responsive and we really felt comfortable throughout our stay. She had new cookware & bakeware delivered which sure was appreciated as we enjoy cooking most meals at home.. new propane grill as well. We look forward to returning to our beautiful home away from home!

Communication with owner was great! Beautiful home. WIFI worked perfect. Very clean. Hope to stay again in the summer.
