Charming Bungalow in Rosewood || Downtown Columbia

My property is located in the Rosewood neighborhood of Columbia, which is downtown near the University of South Carolina and all of the dining and eating areas that downtown Columbia has to offer, including being within walking distance of Five points and being near the Vista. It is within walking distance of USC's Williams-Brice Stadium. It is located near the corner of Harden Street and Rosewood. There is a backyard that is fenced in and there is a large back patio with outdoor dining table and 4 chairs, umbrella attached and beach chairs (and beach towels are available). The house is very cozy, while maintaining a certain style and elegance that is rarely found nearby. The house's main feature is the open floor plan and the kitchen, the overall comfort of the home, and the location is an unbeatable one for the city. Come take a vacation, go to a Gamecocks game, visit a student at USC, or just enjoy the tradion, culture and luxuries that downtown Columbia has to offer.

This home was perfect for our weekend at USC. The location is great…just a few minutes to campus. The house is clean, well appointed and the beds are very comfortable.

The house was in a great neighborhood and it was very quiet. I unfortunately don’t think the owners/cleaners were prepared for our visit, we were not able to get into the property until almost 6PM.There were wet towels in the washer and wet linens in the dryer. I think those were the towels we needed for our stay so I dried and folded them and discovered dirty linens from the previous stays in the master closet.There was toothpaste on the faucets from the previous guests? The refrigerator was filthy with leftover food and other items. Overall the house needs a deep clean, I was surprised there was not follow up or contact from the host after our arrival, overall disappointing.

Very well maintained home. Plenty of room to have some family time as well as have space if needed. They were very accommodating, we arrived early and were able to get in earlier than expected. Communication with them was very easy and quick. Overall, very enjoyable experience.

Listing was not accurate. Listing stated sleeps 11 with a king bed and a queen bed in each room upstairs. Not true! There is only 1 bed in each room upstairs. The owners expect you to know they provide air mattresses to accommodate the rest of the guests! The air mattress was filthy. Full of dust on the surface. The bedspreads were covered in hair! I don’t think they wash the bedspreads. As guests you are expected to take care of their laundry! The dryer was full of soaking wet sheets and towels- I was blamed for them not drying. They loaded the dryer right before we arrived and it was way over packed. The dishwasher was full of dishes we were expecting to put away. There was dog poop on the back deck. The hot tub was dirty. The kitchen cabinets have junk and random things throughout. The living room has very uncomfortable furniture and not enough to accommodate 11 guests. The rug in the dining room is curling up so bad you could fall over it if you’re not careful. The house is not stocked well like they say. I spent 45 min of my time with VRBO complaining because we did not have enough beds and the house needs a good deep clean. The owners I believe do not have a professional cleaning service.

Cozy home, great location

Our baseball plans got rained out, so it worked out where we were able to enjoy our stay in the home watching the Kentucky Derby and enjoying the home. Would definitely stay there again. The host was very responsive.

Great stay in Columbia

We loved staying in this beautiful home in Columbia. The living area was very comfortable and the kitchen is very spacious to work in. The bedrooms were huge and beds were all kings which we loved. Our hosts were very communicative throughout the trip and responsive when we had trouble with the lock. Its location is excellent as we were there to visit Congaree NP. It’s right near the stadium for Gamecocks so if you’re USC fans this is the perfect place! We definitely recommend this home !

Great quick stay

We rented the property for a short stay in Columbia as we attended a practice round at the masters. We arrived to a very clean home in a quiet neighborhood. The owners were very communicative and answered all questions about our stay in a timely manner. I left my license at the home and the owner graciously mailed it back out to me. 10/10 would recommend. .

My extended family and I just stayed here to attend my son's graduation from BCT at Fort Jackson. First, the good: the location is perfect. It's a quaint little (walkable) neighborhood with close proximity to everything Columbia has to offer - including quick access to Ft. Jackson. We were able to walk to a local park and it was very pleasant.The house itself is very nice. Looks like it was recently updated.However, there were some negatives that led me to call both the owner and VRBO. I feel as if my complaints were addressed although it was a struggle to get VRBO to help.First, upon arrival, the place hadn't been cleaned. There were no linens on any of the beds, there was food left over in the fridge and the garbage was overflowing outside. Second, the listing shows multiple beds in each of the bedrooms including a sleeper sofa. Upon arrival, we quickly realized there was not enough room for the 8 of us to sleep, despite the fact that it said it slept 11. We were able to get in contact with the owner who promptly arrived and we voiced our concerns. She set to work cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, etc.) while we were sitting there. They placed linens on the beds and when we told them there weren't enough beds, they purchased air mattresses from a local Walmart. They were not on hand.There was also no toilet paper and the owner came by later to bring us some.I felt as if some compensation was necessary for the inconvenience and VRBO assisted.

Spacious, clean property!

Needed a spot close to a work event close to Williams Brice. There are not a ton of places as ice as this property in that area of Cola. Close to stadium/fairgrounds and five points. Very spacious house with ample kitchen (which we unfortunately didn’t have opportunity to use). Would be a great family or friends weekend house. Would absolutely stay again.
