The property itself was just as advertised. It was in a great location for our needs. The lanai with the ocean view was wonderful! The only issue we had was communication prior to check-in. There was a lack of adequate communication regarding our early check-in request.

The condo was well appointed although gaining entry was a bit confusing. I was able to call the number and they answered immediately and were very helpful. The loction was great, walking distance to most anything you needed. I would recommend this property

The kitchen and laundry were fine. The unit needs updating from the popcorn ceiling to the horrible carpet.There is a lovely deck but the tariffic noise was so extreme we could not use it or have the doors open.The location as great for dining out.

Overall everything was above average. Upon check-in we found some towels with stain, later found out they want you to clean the towels before check-out, except one set of towel per person (same thing with linens) . Would request management to change that policy, you never know if tenants before you actually cleaned them.Location was great with beautiful sunset view. It was bit noisy in daytime but at night had no problem sleeping (considering I’m light sleeper) Lot of restaurants and bars right outside your doorstep. Property was safe.

I'm sorry you found stained towels — that should not happen. Our intent is not to ask guests to launder items; we ask that used towels be left in the bathroom or linen bag and that one clean set per person remain for departure. We'll review the wording and inspect the towels you mentioned to prevent this going forward. Being on a lively strip can bring some daytime noise; appreciate you noting the overall safety and convenience. Thank you again for the suggestions — we’ll take them into account.

Great Location and view, well stocked kitchen

We stayed here with friends from the mainland. Everything you need is nearby. Keep in mind it is on Alii Drive so there isnstreet noise and traffic in the evening (but also great people watching).

Middle of Everything!

This was a great location, right in the middle of Alii Dr! Beautiful scenery, right on the ocean, spectacular sunsets, great people watching and so close to everything! Highly recommend!

This is an older but well-kept condo complex. The large pool area is beautiful. The condo itself has many positive points: comfortable bed, nice linens, well stocked kitchen, comfortable couches, nice big TV, and the lovely view of the ocean (though the power lines don't show in the picture). Lots of restaurants within easy walking and several beaches. We never spoke to the management in person, but they were always very responsive to texts.The negatives have been mentioned in other reviews. The street noise is loud (who knew that slow cruising with the sound system absolutely blasting was a thing?!). Closing the sliding glass doors helps a lot, but then the condo gets warm and stuffy (no a/c). If you're a light sleeper, bring very good ear plugs. The hot water in the shower took about five minutes to get hot. We did report that.

Sorry about the street noise and the hot water delay; thank you for reporting the latter — our maintenance team has been notified to investigate and improve the hot-water timing. We understand closing the sliding doors reduces noise but can make the unit feel warm (there is no A/C); light sleepers may want to bring good ear plugs. We appreciate your feedback and hope to host you again.

Stunning view

Perfect for us. Busy street but right in the middle of everything. Walked to just about all we needed. Good for people watching yet safe and secure. Loved the view one the sound of the waves. Bedroom away from the noise. Well stocked and all our needs were met.

Absolutely beautiful!

The condo was perfect! View was breathtaking! Beds were comfy. Plenty of dishes for 4. Easy access to everything. My only hesitation was a few cockroaches. I know that they are a Hawaii thing so it is what it is and I would absolutely stay again.

Great location

Wonderful central location, walk to great restaurants. View of ocean fantastic, watched porpoises and flying fish and sunsets from the lanai. Bedroom is brightly lit all the time. Waves breaking on the shore were soothing. Check in was difficult because we weren’t told that the elevator key was in the bank of 63 unorganized lockboxes downstairs and that the spare was at the end of the upstairs bar, but once that was figured out, we had a great time. We will definitely recommend to our friends and would stay again.

The location was great and for the most part things were as advertised. There were some issues with the sliding door to the laundry room / bathroom and the glasses in the kitchen were not really usable do to age, they actually affected the taste of what was in them. We would stay again however as the positives out weighed the negatives.

Kona WC stay

Was the perfect location for the race.. close walk to pier and located on run course. Close to restaurants. Did have an issue with the washer/dryer but contacted management company and they were able to fix it by Wednesday of our stay. Place was very nice.. the place did not have AC but we had good ocean breeze that kept thing tolerable. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back

Main drag Kona breakwall and pretty awesome

We loved staying here, it was so close to all the shops and restaurants and had a great view. This place is loud for those looking for a quiet getaway, but if you're into watching the action while overlooking the lanai then this is a great place to stay. Hawaii is known for having some bugs at most properties, you will find them here also. You just need to be real clean in the kitchen and keep everything in a sealed bag or in the fridge. Looking forward to booking this place again.

Cute Condo, Beautiful Views

The location is great, right on Alii drive where most shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Beautiful view of the ocean as described and pictured in the listing. It’s can be a bit loud in the evening when tourists are out and about, but if you fully close the glass sliding doors it will block out the sound. Parking spot was a bit hard to find at first, but overall a fairly accessible location from the main highway or from alii drive. Condo was super clean and the rules were completely reasonable. Would recommend to anyone staying in Kona. Mahalo

Perfect stay

1) best view ever 2) convenience perfect 3) main bedroom too much light from outside lighting. Management brought eye mask. They were so handson. Early check in was spent with cable people after paying 30 dollars for early check in. Irritation but still loved the stay. Been here many years in a row first time doing all arraingements myself with out travel agent and this trip was better than them all put together.

The BEST STAY!

Clean condo, easy to get in and out. Wake up to the ocean every morning. BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS. Cons: check in instructions confused my husband (couldn’t locate lock boxes at first, asked for help from a very rude older tenant who said my husband should already know where everything is already) other than that an amazing stay at this place. Traffic noise from street was expected. But I’d rather listen to the ocean waves and cars driving by than the frogs up in the mountain haha!
