Le damos la bienvenida a nuestra hermosa casa de vacaciones es un camino de adoquines de 'libro de cuentos' en la costa sur de la parte superior de Conchas Chinas. La casa cuenta con lujo, privacidad y vistas ilimitadas. La comunidad cerrada conocida como Real de Amapas es atendida por un tranvía de estilo europeo, servicio de guardia las 24 horas y estacionamiento cubierto seguro a nivel de la calle en un callejón sin salida privado.

Villa Horizonte Azul (Blue Horizon) presenta grandes terrazas y una piscina infinita en un entorno tropical exuberante. En la quietud de la noche, el sonido distante de las olas, la brisa del océano, el olor de la selva y la salida de la luna ofrecen una experiencia romántica única.

La casa está diseñada arquitectónicamente aprovechando las vistas del océano y la jungla. Hay 3 dormitorios con baños en suite y un tocador en el nivel principal. El lujoso diseño de la suite principal del nivel superior abarca una vista de 270 grados, un vestidor de 144 pies cuadrados, una bañera de hidromasaje privada, una cama king size y una terraza privada (310 pies cuadrados), ¡todo lo cual te hará sentir mimado! El nivel inferior está terminado con 2 dormitorios, cada uno con balcones de Julieta y vistas al océano. El nivel de entrada principal separa los dormitorios e incluye una cocina gourmet, un área formal para comer y una sala de estar. Este nivel está junto a una terraza al aire libre más cubierta y una zona de asientos adyacentes a la piscina privada. Beautiful house overlooking Puerto Vallarta bay with stunning sea view, multiple terraces, luxury amenities. Special thank you to our amazing housekeeper Chela, who kept the house sparkling clean during our stay snd made delicious breakfast every morning where we ate on the terrace overlooking the ocean and watched whales swim by as an added surprise. Our property manager Lisa was wonderful and took great care of us. 5 Star review for this gorgeous villa a short taxi to town and the Romantic zone.

Conchas Chinas dream house

What a great house! We had a blast! The location is perfect being so close to town. The house had such a happy vibe. The most beautiful views and wonderful views from each level. Chela is amazing with her delicious daily breakfast and kept the house beautiful for us! The best Vrbo experience ever!!!!

Wonderful Vacation in Puerto Vallarta

My family and I had a great visit to Puerto Vallarta. The villa was beautiful. We enjoyed the amazing views of the bay from the house and patio. We spent hours lounging in the pool and relaxing. What made the visit even better was the breakfast prepared by Chela every morning. Her food was one of the highlights of the trip. It was a great way to get the days started. I would highly recommend this villa and look forward to visiting again soon.

Comfortable home in safe neighborhood

Well kept hillside home in a guard gated neighborhood. Very nice daily housekeeper who makes breakfast for the family… it was very good. Pool was great, private enough, it was heated per our request & very glad we did. Only criticism I have is the furnishings ( living room sofas and primary mattress)are tired and need to be replaced. The home has great ocean views I highly recommend renting a vehicle - smaller size, there is gated parking & the house is up a treacherous hill- imo not walkable… PV is easy to get around and having a car gives you flexibility to explore.

AMAZING VILLA!!

Just returned from a 7 night stay at Anna and Erwin's absolutely beautiful Villa! Was our very first experience using VRBO so was a bit skeptical as to what to expect. Anna was extremely helpful in walking us through this whole process. We went with close friends of ours and each had their own bedroom and bath. Villa exceeded our expectations ( photos were right on as pictured on vrbo site) but even more so after arriving. So much room to roam whether you want to all be together and lots of spaces if you prefer privacy to read or soak up the sun. Weather was Perfect every day (mid 80's) sunshine, and sometimes warm ocean breezes as we almost ALWAYS sat outside in the outdoor living space or in the pool. Being from Wisconsin where the wind chill was a -40 degrees for several days while we were gone...this was definitely the place to be! Staff was always so helpful with anything we needed. From Aldo..to Claudia...to Chela ( the maid and who cooked breakfast every morning except Sunday for us). the pool staff...and Gabriel ( our taxi driver who picked us up at airport) and became one of our good friends who was always there for us if we needed a ride somewhere. And of course Anna and Erwin are always a phone call away. Villa is close enough to town but far enough away to enjoy the peace and tranquility of the views from any of the balconies. Villa is very secure and gated so never felt compromised in the least. This was definitely one of our best vacations..Ever! Just wish we could have stayed longer! Hoping we can return again to Villa Horizonte Azul.

Can't Wait to Return

Our brief vacation at this vacation home in PV can only be described as phenomenal. I'd say it was way better than described. We all felt like royalty living temporarily in this hillside paradise with killer views. We were met @the bus station by friendly & helpful Aldo, who brought us to our gorgeous destination. One side of the home is jungle with amazing birds & squirrels & other critters, & the rest of the beautifully designed & furnished home is dedicated to breathtaking views, including a stunning vanishing edge pool & multiple decks for lounging. I was there with my husband, son, daughter & 2 other friends. We were there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from medical school. Our first night, we strolled down to the beach & had a sensational candlelight dinner right on the beach, just steps from the beautifully lit pier, with music & various entertainers doing their thing. On our 2nd night, we had a private chef come in to cook a special dinner in honor of our daughter. He was an Italian chef, & the meal was delicious, especially the home made pasta. This is some thing we had never done before, & it made the the celebration very special indeed. It was a bit pricey, but we felt it was worth it. The only disappointment was that we inadvertently neglected to provide the right amount of wine, & in fact only had one small box of white wine, but this was our oversight. Next time we will be prepared. It was an easy walk down the hill to bus stop, & only 7 pesos to ride bus into town. Sometimes we walked the whole way, but typically took a cab back (50 pesos) because pretty steep cobblestone roads back to the place. The owners Anna & Erwin were wonderful & very helpful. We can't wait to go back, & have no reservations whatsoever in recommending this place. I would give it 6 stars if that was an option.

What an awesome place!

Where do I start? The house was everything we expected and more. It was super clean and beautiful. We enjoyed every aspect of our vacation there. Chela, the housekeeper, was amazing. She cooked breakfast for us and she kept all our linens clean. She was great! Lisa was available to us at all times and was always glad to hear from us and answered any questions we had. She was absolutely the best. We used the taxi driver that was listed in the villa’s information book that was provided. Well let me tell you, Gabriel (taxi driver) was MORE than helpful. He was amazing as well. He took us anywhere we needed to go and was very accommodating whenever we needed him. He was great. Overall, if the rating scale was 1-10 I would, without hesitation, give an 11! EVERYTHING was worth an 11 rating!!! Thank you Anne and Lisa for allowing us to stay.

Magical Views

Rental was easy, communication great. Photos of property amazing, truly breathtaking once on-site. Views, views, views....from every direction on property. Very spacious, we were a party of 5 and literally had to find each other. So many outdoor spaces to relax. Master bedroom could have stayed all day. Nothing like waking up to the ocean. Loved that property was secure/gated. Easy to access taxis/uber at bottom of hill. The prepared breakfast was great. Chelea beautiful spirit, took care of tidying up and changed linens every morning. Not one bad experience. People very friendly, excursions great. We stayed 7 days, was sad when it was time to go. Truly a trip of a liferime..

Wonderful getaway

Spectacular home

Anna and Edwin’s home is one of a kind! Spacious, clean, fantastic location and the views are incredible. There are few homes of this caliber available for rent. We will absolutely be returning as we felt in just a few days this place was extra special to spend family time together. A short Uber into town with many places to eat, shop and activities. The best part is the house is away from the bustle of downtown. The stars at night are gorgeous and you wake up to nature singing in the trees. They graciously have their personal housekeeper prepare breakfast in the mornings and tidy the house during the stay. Communication from rental through check out was smooth and easy. We cannot wait to plan our next visit and will do so around the availability of this wonderful home ❤️ Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay, every detail was taken care of.

Highly Recommend

We stayed here for a week! (4 adults, 2 children, 1 baby) It was absolutely perfect having a place to call home in Conchas Chinas. This property is close to Old Town where there’s dining, music, the beach and the beautiful Mercado. We went into town every day and once the kids had enough we took a short and inexpensive cab/Uber ride home to play in the pool and take in the breathtaking views. On top of this being a great property, Chela made our time there extraordinary! Chela made our breakfast daily upon request, changed our linens, cleaned the entire house every day, washed all our dishes from the night before, made homemade guacamole and salsa and she did it with such grace. She is such a lovely and kind person and having her help with all those daily chores made our stay here more resort like than anything else. We truly relaxed…and that’s saying a lot with a 4 yo, a 3 yo and a 7 month baby!! Lisa the property manager was always accessible and helped arrange transportation to and from the airport. Don’t wait on this property. Book now!! We just got home yesterday and we’re already talking about when we can return. Everyone and everything was excellent! Muchas Gracias, Chela, Lisa and Anna!!

Beautiful Property

The property is beautiful - better than the pictures indicate. Breakfast and cleaning was provided every day. Its an easy 10-15 minute walk into the Romantic Zone (although you may want to take an Uber back unless you like uphill walking - its pretty steep when you get to the subdivision.) Loved the funicular up to the Villa itself.

Luxury, Convenience and Comfort

There were three of us staying at the property, each with our own Bed/Bath. The property is beautifully decorated and appointed. All rooms and common areas were immaculately clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and everything from televisions to air conditioners to showers, etc. worked well. The property manager was attentive and responsive; quick to answer texts, emails and calls throughout the stay. The daily staff were polite, professional and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the luxurious home with amazing views and every amenity we wanted or expected. It was easy, fast and inexpensive to get Uber rides into town and Uber or taxi rides back to the property. We would happily recommend the place to friends and family alike. Chela was wonderful at providing delicious the deliciuos meals we requested. She was always puntual and thorough and kept things clean and neat always. We loved our stay and would stay again.

Convenience with a stunning view

This place was amazing! Conchas Chinas is very close to the main tourist area (Romantic zone), with most places only about a 10 minute drive. But...the views are killer and unlike the tourist area, it is very peaceful and quiet. As mentioned everywhere, Chela is awesome and gets your day started beautifully with a breakfast. One word of caution...the tiles by the pool are very slick so just be careful when you get out. Trust me - you will be getting in that pool and staring at the sunset each day. Great stay!

Truly Spectacular

Outstanding property! Not one single complaint. Everything from the initial booking to check in was outstanding service. The pictures do not do this place justice. Anna the Property Owner was super responsive/helpful and Lisa the Property Manager was lovely to work with from check-in to check-out. Location was perfect - only a $4.50(USD) Uber ride to the heart of downtown PV. The highlight of this property was Chella the Housekeeper who came each morning (at the time of your choosing) to clean the house and to make us a DELICIOUS breakfast each morning. Thought and love were put into each one of her signature Mexican Breakfast dishes and even made us guacamole to enjoy in the afternoons. You will not be disappointed if you choose this property. Next time we are in PV - we will be staying here again for sure.

Amazing Villa in Puerto Vallarta

We were a group of 3 couples who have vacationed in PV for a number of years. When the oceanfront condo we had been staying in was sold, we decided to try a villa away from the water. What a great decision! All aspects of our rental were seamless and excellent. From our initial contact with Anna and Erwin all the way to checking out with Lisa we were very pleased. The villa is even more beautiful than the photos and the view is spectacular. We especially enjoyed the pool and other outdoor areas. We walked to restaurants and beaches daily, but sometimes used Uber for return trips. It is a steep walk up, but it helped us work off the great food you will find in PV. And then there is our lovely Chella... she was there every morning to make us the most delicious breakfasts! We are all suffering withdrawal. She also straightened up and took care of linens and towels. We enjoyed this stay so much that we are looking to stay for 2 weeks next year.

Quiet location close to the attractions

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at this property! The home is beautiful and located higher up in Conchas Chinas on the 4th level of a multi-story complex, where you are walking distance or a short uber ride from the beaches (i.e. Playa Los Muertos) and the night life and shopping in Zona Romantica. Don't worry, you won't hear the people below you either. As stated, the house is gorgeous with great views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of room for groceries (which they will get for you if you request prior to arrival), and the outside patios were spacious as well. As a back up for a rainy day, I would recommend travelers bring DVDs, books, games or other ways to occupy their time should you be unfortunate and have a rain day as there were only a handful of DVDs to choose from and the Satellite TV as far as we could tell is only in Spanish. Chela's brunches were delicious, and she also washed our clothes each day if we left them out for her. Ask for her fresh guacamole! The overall staff were very attentive to our needs without being intrusive. We would 100% all recommend staying here and would do so again. It is a great location appropriate for celebrations (we were celebrating a friend's 30th bday), families, or any other group. Some caution for those with mobility issues as the hill up to the property is very steep, although the funicular allows for easy access from the base of the 4-condo building.

A slice of relaxation heaven far above the crowds

We've just had two blissful weeks at Villa Horizonte Azul and we loved it. The villa is immaculate and, over 3 levels, has plenty of space for a family to spread out. Three lovely outside decks complete the picture, with lots of indoor/outdoor flow and just the right amount of shade on those hot days.It's close (20 minutes downhill walk) from the old town, so easy to pop down for lunch or dinner, and a $5 (Peso100) cab fare home. The views out across Banderas Bay sweep out in front of you, quite majestic. And the fun of getting your own 'tram' (or cable car) up to the house from the private culdesac that the house is located on, adds further to the sense of being perched up away from the bustle below. Anna and Erwin have thought of everything to make this home a wonderfully relaxing holiday retreat. The daily housekeeper Chela is a national treasure - she'll whip up guacamole and fabulous salsa in an instant if you have the ingredients to hand, on top of making excellent breakfasts to set you up for the day. She is also a scrupulous housekeeper, so the place was always pristine. Like most hillside properties, the pool is more a plunge pool than one where you'll get any laps done, but perfect to cool off and gaze over the infinity edge. The BBQ works well and makes it easy to do lovely outdoor suppers, with very comfy outdoor furniture which is easy to nod off in - a true test of whether outdoor spaces have been lived in by the owners, versus set up just to look good for rental photographs! Thankyou Anna & Erwin for a memorable and delightful stay up on the hill - we absolutely loved it and would wholeheartedly recommend your picturesque home.

A Truly fantastic oasis of calm !

Wow what a wonderful villa up on the hill with a wonderful view over looking the sea and bay below but close enough to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants etc. Upon arrival Aldo took us through the villas amenities which also included a free iPhone to use and take out with us so that we had a usable phone in Mexico there was also an in-house landline which was free to use to make calls locally and to certain countries. The whole villa was spotlessly clean and there was some supplies in the fridge for us to eat and drink etc. Then next morning a delightful Chela arrived (the House keeper) to make our breakfast and clean etc (I think this was included in the first week but we paid a little extra for breakfast and lunch to be included the whole time we were there and WOW was it worth it ! Chela catered to our every food need ! Considering we had one person who couldn’t eat fish and one who was vegetarian Chela created different breakfasts learning how we liked our coffees,teas,fruit, porridge and eggs etc. (She made fruit juice every day from all the fresh fruit and some days she made smoothies) Lunch was amazing healthy simple dishes all freshly prepared by Chela her guacamole is the best in PV (we tried many restaurants but very few could compare!) each day she’d ask us what we’d like to eat and show us what was available the next day so that she could prepare for it. All we can say is Chela is well worth the extra and thank god for google translate ! Chela you’re the best. We had lots of contact with the agent Lisa and the owners who were most accommodating making sure all was ok. The gardener and his helper were regularly tending the building and plants they helped us out immediately with electric plug extension leads and any small details that needed tending to during our stay. It was hard to leave the villa with all its comfort even during our stay we do hope to return to this wonderful experience !!! We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Amazing!

We have stayed in Puerto Vallarta several times, this property is the best by far! Anna and Erwin were very easy to work with from start to finish, they have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. The amenities are as good as a five star hotel, from airport pickup, daily maid service with breakfast included (gracias Chela) and the personalized service from Aldo and Lisa at Pancho Villas real estate management. I must say the pictures do not truly show the beauty of this property! The views are simply stunning. The house is comfortable with enough space to spread out. I’m already looking at my calendar for a return stay here.

Incredible house and staff!

Incredible property in a great location just above the Romantic Zone. The owners are very easy to work with and responsive. The staff was excellent. The pictures on the site do not come near conveying how beautiful the house and view are. Our group was three couples and the layout was perfect for us. Great gathering areas and great private areas. Would definitely stay at this property again.

This is a must stay Villa! Love it!

This review is long overdue. We have been visiting PV for many years. Stayed at a number of hotels, homes and condos, but Villa Horizonte Azul is by far our favorite. We will be returning to this incredible place for our 5th time soon. Yes, we love it that much. Anna, Erwin, The Poncho Villas management team, Chela, Enrique, and Gabriel go above and beyond to ensure you are well taken care of and have a great, stress free vacation. Our personal tag line for this beautiful place "How do you beat it?" The best of the best owners, staff, hospitality, view and amenities. Peaceful, secure, luxury at its finest. This is a must stay Villa.

Just came back from Villa Horizonte Azul and had an awesome experience. Everything is top-notch, from the management at Panchos Villas (thank you Lisa, Aldo) to the superb service by Chela, a fantastic person that cooked the best breakfast you will ever have in Mexico (gracias Chela!). The house is gorgeous, and the views just like in the pictures. The hike up the street from the beach is quite strenuous, but will keep you from gaining any extra pounds while there. The location is perfect for dinner runs into old Vallarta. Totally recommend it!

A gorgeous oasis for the whole family!

A perfect location 5 minute drive to old town PV or the beach. Plenty of space with two bedrooms downstairs and a large master bedroom with lounge on the top floor. After a long day at the beach we loved boarding the funicular that took us up to what our kids affectionately called our "nest"! It did feel as though we were in a treehouse, waking up to the sites and sounds of colourful birds in the lush foliage surrounding us. There is plenty of space and with six of us staying, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Chela the housekeeper and our most wonderful cook made us a delicious breakfast and lunch everyday all with an authentic Mexican flare. From the moment we arrived at the airport we felt taken care of. The Horizonte Azul driver whisked us away to the villa where we were greeted by the house staff and property management team. Super organized and thorough, we felt very safe and taken care of. We were provided with a house cell phone which we used often to contact a driver to take us to the beach or town. Very prompt, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes for a lift. Overall the home is well appointed with no detail missed. A beautiful view with stunning infinity pool really was the icing on the cake. A perfect vacation for anyone wanting to get away from it all. After staying at Villa Horizonte Azul you will not want to stay at an all inclusive ever again!

We first visited P.V. in Jan. 1984 and right away fell in love with this tropical city. From the original plan of purchasing a two bedroom condominium, we wound-up buying our first home in Alta Vista. It was a great house however too close to El Centro and we found it too noisy. In 2003, we bought a piece of land where we built 4 beautiful villas which became Real de Amapas. This is the one we kept for ourselves. Planning, designing, and building these beautiful homes was so rewarding that the architect/builder – Mr. Juan Jose has become our life time, family friend. Villa Horizonte Azul is not just a beautiful vacation home, but also a wonderful gift to our lives.

This house offers much better views than a house located on the beach.
Everybody will find their own private space at the meantime can enjoy each other’s company.
Walking distance to the beach, far enough to avoid the wave when storm comes, close enough to hear the surf.
