Bellamente restaurada hacienda alemana de 1860 ubicada en Texas Hill Country. Perfecto para familias - compuesto de 3 casas en 450 acres magníficos. Propiedad y decoración del mejor diseñador de San Antonio, esta casa ha sido publicada por su integridad interior y belleza. Poco A Poco ha recibido muchos VIPs; un ex gobernador de Texas, actores, magnates de negocios de San Antonio y muchos admiradores de la sociedad. Luke Perry se quedó aquí cuando estaba filmando 8 segundos. Un anuncio de helado de Blue Bell fue filmado aquí. La casa principal tiene una cocina completa (increíblemente bien surtida) con una acogedora sala de estar y chimenea, un lugar maravilloso para jugar, leer libros o simplemente visitar, un encantador comedor con capacidad para hasta 8 personas con área de estar adjunta. Hay un dormitorio principal y baño con bañera. Arriba hay una habitación para niños con 5 camas individuales. Hay un baño compartido con ducha y un maestro encantador con rey. Al lado de la casa principal se encuentra la habitación azul, es una casita con 2 camas dobles y un baño con ducha. Hay otra casa que llamamos el ahumadero (originalmente fue realmente un ahumadero). Cuenta con una cocina completa, cuarto de lavado, maestro con una reina y baño con tocador, bañera / ducha. Hay una cuna en esta casa y un sofá en esta casa que sería perfecto para un niño. Tenemos una hermosa piscina, parque infantil, bicicletas. Estamos a minutos de tiendas de abarrotes, tiendas, restaurantes Boerne / Bulverde y tiendas de antigüedades. A 25 minutos de San Antonio. Estamos a 3 millas al Parque Estatal de Guadalupe. También a unas pocas millas de Anhalt, un salón de baile que se estableció por primera vez en 1887.

Third visit

This was our family’s third time gathering at the Poco a Poco Ranch. Lovely as always with a few great upgrades in the game room. It’s a beautiful home/property and has everything you can imagine for all ages to enjoy a fun and comfortable Thanksgiving together.

Perfect getaway!

This property is immaculate and so interesting! We had five couples come out for a kid free weekend and had an absolute blast. The property is so well taken care of and offers so much to do without ever having to leave. We loved how friendly the horses and bison were, also! We are definitely coming back without a shadow of a doubt!

Amazingly unique property

We had an amazing stay for the week of Thanksgiving. A very old house with the modern comforts of today seamlessly integrated. Having the information to learn about the history of the property as well as the area available in the way of pictures and newspaper clippings was a very personal aspect of this house seldom found in a sterile VRBO. Very convenient to shopping and areas of interest as well . I highly recommend this property, especially if you are tired of the usual rental.

Lovely Thanksgiving Stay for Family

We loved our stay at the ranch and plan to return. It's a perfect set up for a multi-generational vacation and such a unique property - tons to do, very well stocked, plenty of space to spread out, and plenty of places to gather together. Photos give a clear indication of the layout and we had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the family time.

This is paradise in the country

The historical feel and rustic touches are beautiful and well placed. The best of both worlds country living with modern amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful property. The animals, pool, reliable wifi and gameroom were enjoyed by all the teenagers and teenagers at heart. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and outdoor lounging areas. Our family was able to cook incredible meals and enjoy nice evenings in the outdoor space. So much to see and areas to explore on the inside and out. All of the incredibly curated antiques were such a beautiful treasure hunt all over the property. We will be back for sure.

Second time to stay!

We absolutely love staying at the Poco A Poco- we loved it so much we’ve now stayed there twice for two large group gatherings. It’s truly the most perfect beautiful home filled with everything you need. I feel like I’m living in a movie set. The staff is very hospitable and easy to communicate, if there is an issue they fix it quickly and the location is not too far from San Antonio and only 20 minutes from Boerne. I hope to come back again with our family soon! The Poco A Poco feels like a home away from home!

Family Reunion

This is a very special place. Perfect setting and accommodating for a reunion of any kind. It allows each guest to have “ their own space” as well as great entertaining spaces. The pool area in the middle of the living spaces makes easy movement throughout. The game room is fun for friendly ( competítive in my family) ping pong, pool and checkers games. We made so many great memories there. I cannot wait to go back.

Wonderful Poco a Poco

My wife and I have been renting vacation properties in the U.S, and around the world for a quarter century. Of all our rentals, Poco a Poco tops our list. If it’s glitzy modernity you’re looking for(and we have enjoyed those ourselves), this is not it. Instead, it’s an historic Texas ranch property that has been deftly adapted by a sensitive decorator to modern use with no loss of its charm or character. The first morning after arrival, as the earliest waking adult, I stepped out the door to see 3 young grandchildren, cousins separated too long by the pandemic, standing together by the stone and wrought iron fence, gazing in rapture at 2 bison munching grass nearby. It was a moment I shall not forget. Over the next few days there were many other magic moments for our family reunion. The cistern and game room were magnets for small fry and rarely did anyone feel an impulse to leave the ranch. Poco a Poco has a unique charm and allure. Our grandchildren are clamoring for a return visit.

You must see it to believe it!

Every word that can be used to describe this property: amazing, beautiful, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing, has been used in all the previous reviews. If you have a large group, are looking for a VRBO that far exceeds expectations, with tremendous owners and communication, then this is absolutely the place. Pleas read all the previous reviews and believe every positive word you read because they are all true, or understated. Magnificent place. Didn’t even know about the horses and Buffalo roaming freely. Outstanding! So lucky to be able to stay here.

Amazing weekend in this home! I would love to come back each year....the home was better than pictures showed it to be an absolute treasure .. .we cooked meals for our family, enjoyed the pool, met some new animal friends...and made the best memories in this beautiful home. Fabulous Place for a Family Get-Away!

We had a family get-together, ages from 7 - 77 and we all had a blast! The grounds are beautiful and there is something for everyone! The game room, pool, animals, privacy, and the fabulous rich heritage that is obvious in the compound was more than we could ask for. I highly recommend this place.

Don’t hesitate to book, this place is AMAZING

Our large extended family booked this ranch for a weekend and it wasn’t nearly long enough! We had ages 5-75 with us and it was just perfect for all. The homes are impeccably decorated with the most thoughtful and beautiful details and collections that we loved perusing, and all the beds and furnishings are very luxurious and comfortable. You have to see this place to believe it— our jaws were on the floor walking through it the first time! The property was just as gorgeous outside, with the rock courtyard being perfect for dining and hanging out. The kids swam in the pool all weekend, when they weren’t busy hanging out in the awesome game room. The horses, chickens, and bison came to visit us, too! This was a perfect getaway that I’m sure we’ll book again. Thanks for sharing Poco a Poco with us, we feel so lucky to have been able to experience it!

We've celebrated birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, yearly cousin's camp, a wedding, many a dinner party at our family ranch. Girl's weekends, boy's weekends! Picnics, dinners under the stars. The prettiest sunsets in Texas. We have beautifully groomed grounds. You could spend the whole day lounging by the pool. Once you get here you never want to leave. It is an enclave of relaxation and tranquility. It is simply good for you soul!

It is a decorator's paradise with antiques, intricate textured upholstery, the most comfortable, high end beds, pillows, linens (all allergen free). Courtney has decorated houses all over the world from London to Aspen to Cabo. Her ranch showcases some of our favorite finds. You could spend the whole day just enjoying her treasures peppered throughout the houses. It's quirky and quaint - most of all comfortable and cozy!
