Welcome to Seaside Cottage in East Boothbay! This is a gorgeous, recently renovated cottage perched on the edge of the Damariscotta River with absolutely stunning views. There is an incredible primary suite on the 2nd floor with huge picture windows and an en-suite bath. There are 2 more bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor each with a full size bed. The large open living area has a beautiful new kitchen with a dishwasher. There is a great covered balcony and an outdoor sitting area right on water's edge.

Please note that this cottage has no washer/dryer or A/C

Beautiful View

Our family of 3 loved this home. The views were incredible, and the neighborhood was peaceful and perfect for walking. We appreciated how comfortable and well stocked the house was. Pam was very easy to communicate with. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Trip

We had an amazing time.  We saw two bald eagles multiple times, as many as three ospreys in the air at once, a pod of porpoises and one seal from the deck or back windows.  My daughter and granddaughter caught 8 stripers with a guide.  Saw puffins on another boat trip ... On and on.

Best vacation ever

We had the most amazing stay at this lovely seaside cottage, views were incredible, sounds of the sea so soothing, beautifully decorated home, kitchen had everything we needed to cook, just can’t say enough about how amazing our week was, wonderful 2 mile walking loop, great communication as well! Hope to return!!

Amazing Seaside Stay

We had a lovely stay at this amazing house in East Boothbay. The views are incredible, and sleeping with the windows open and hearing the waves crash was wonderful. We saw harbor porpoises, seals, and bald eagles right from the deck! The house is newly renovated, was extremely clean and had all of the amenities you could ask for. The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, and a quick drive to all of the Boothbay area destinations. We’d love to come back and would recommend this place to anyone!

Very pleasant stay at seaside cottage

Cottage was attractive, very clean, and comfortable with a terrific location overlooking the Damariscotta River. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! As the property description notes, it is suitable for adults who can navigate the stairs. We had a party of four, and that worked out well space-wise. Pam, the realtor who coordinates arrangements, is an excellent communicator, which made the rental experience very easy and enjoyable from start to finish.

A great experience

The property was just as described. The view was amazing and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep each night. There were a lot of stairs but of someone is even lightly active, they are no issue really. Pam was very speedy in her communication. I highly recommend this home.

Wonderful Sea Shore Cottage - beautiful views

well appointed & maintained. Super responsive Host - Thank You Pam! Great Master Bedroom Suite with private porch. Wonderful view of ocean & islands. Saw seals & eagles. Only two parking spots & limited outdoor seating. No water access

Wonderful waterfront home!

Our family spends three different weeks on the Maine coast each year. Although we live in Central Maine, our favorite place to reconnect and relax has always been the coast. We have been doing this for 17 summers! We try to stay at different properties that meet our criteria, and 182 Kings Phillips Trail was the perfect place for us this year. Pam was extremely accommodating and always very responsive. The home was freshly cleaned, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook delicious meals together, the beds were comfortable and most importantly, the quiet views were exquisite. As the listing states, there is quite a set of stairs from the parking area down to the house, but we actually enjoyed the extra exercise!

Beautiful home

We just concluded a week and can't say enough good things. We've been renting in Maine every summer for 20+ years and this was definitely one of the nicest homes. Pam is a great communicator. The location is terrific, and it was super clean and modern. This was our first year with adult children and grandparents, so it was nice to have a roomy living room with enough chairs for everyone (not always the case with rentals!), esp on the cloudy and rainy days when we all stayed inside and read books. We are foodies and love to cook, and the kitchen was great and well equipped. The views from the living room are fantastic, and the upper bedroom is awesome! My only advice to rental seekers is (1) this home doesn't have an outdoor deck. It was fine for us but if you care about that, the deck off the bedroom is pretty small and can't fit everyone. Also (2) if you care, there is no washer/dryer. Turned out OK for us so wasn't a problem but I wish I'd paid attention to that detail while booking. Never thought to check! Pam was very helpful recommending a laundromat (picked up a child from camp with lots of stinky stuff) A wonderful home and we hope to be back!. Thank you!

Staycation

We decided to rent this property for a little rest and relaxation overlooking the ocean. The cottage did not disappoint. It is so close to the water it becomes the highlight of the stay. The cottage is well appointed, modern and comfortable. We will definitely come back. Cheers…

Stunning ocean front home with jaw dropping views

Absolutely perfect getaway. Direct ocean front location where all you can hear is the waves hitting the rocks…yet just minutes from the restaurants and attractions of charming Boothbay Harbor. We watched the lobstermen haul traps just off shore while we sipped our morning coffee on the covered balcony. House is very well equipped with all you’ll need. We stayed a week and never turned on the TV. Wine and lobster in the evenings…while enjoying the stunning view. Pam was a wonderful host and ensured we had everything we needed… including a welcome treat.

Gem of a house

We stayed for a week , I just arrived home , no ocean sounds .. This was a last minute vacation I wanted to take with my Mom she is 83 years old .. The stairs down to the cottage ( 24) she counted them lol .. They are very step for elderly and they do not have a railing , just a rope .. She was pretty nervous at first , But she managed to take them all up and down pretty easily by mid week , The location and the House are simply amazing.. The view is stunning full wide open ocean views with catching waves .. The house was meticulously clean and functional.. Not a speck of dust .. The beds were amazing so comfort with super soft sheets .. I was upstairs in the Master bedroom , floor to ceiling windows open all night to hear the crashing waves hit the rocks .. I would get up at sunsise and go for a hike , the area around ocean point is breathtaking.. We cooked in some nights , anything you could possibly need was right in the kitchen .. We were very close to booth bay harbor .. We had dinner at the lobster warf, lobster rolls and chowder very yummy , we also had dinner at Tapas in Boothbay , another great meal lobster scallops and shrimp risotto to die for ( we are Italian we love risotto) Such a nice place we could eat outside over looking the harbor .. We went for a boat ride on the pink lady ( my mom loved it ) I think we went to every pottery place around ( they r plenty ) We bought a lot of gifts .. We drove up Cadillac mountain on day .. We come up to Maine about 6 times a year and this was favorite house .. This vacation was a little different, we usually kayak and do a lot of hiking , But my mom is old and this was a special time for mother and daughter.. Thank you Pam for making our trip such a easy pleasurable experience.. Michelle K .. I could go on and on .. I hope we can come back soon
