Nice cabin on a relaxing lake, the host was very responsive. They provided a lot of extra's. Would definitely recommend.

Home was ok, not as clean as could be on the first floor, quite a bit of dog hair throughout. No key provided, doors did not lock so the home was accessible when we weren't there - very unusual set-up. Carpet on stair treads was loose & somewhat dangerous for someone to fall. Instructions were basic about the idiosyncrasies of the house & the things that didn't work. Lighting on the second floor was minimal. Outside property was not kept up, lots of old stuff piled everywhere; part of dock unsafe with holes in the decking. Owners lived on site & left when home was rented which was not disclosed as part of the rental information online. Definitely an unexpected "cabin" experience which appears to be typical of the U.P. I had friends from Connecticut with me who definitely were not happy with this location and home.

Great location and wonderful host

Family vacation was very comfortable in this nice cottage in a great location. It is on the water with screened in porch and kayaks to use. Host is a good communicator and accommodating. We would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here. It's a nice log cabin with a comfortable main bed and a view of the lake. We enjoyed that kayaks were available, and we paddled across the lake one day. It was pretty quiet. Neighbors kept to themselves. We also appreciated that we could stay here with our small dog. There were ample comfortable chairs and couches, and the two smaller rooms were nice. We liked that we could do laundry too. And it was nice to sit out back inside the mosquito netting.The host had planned to meet us when we arrived, but we got there late. She was very prompt in replying and provided some extras for us like breakfast food, milk and butter. It was a very nice place with only a few downsides:-It could use more lighting, particularly in the main bedroom and the laundry area.-The oven had just one rack so it was a struggle to have several pans in there.-No coffee machine and the Keurig wasn't working (water didn't flow through the pack)- No way to lock the main door; I'm sure it's a safe area, but still...Overall it was a very nice place and we enjoyed our stay.

Everyone had a great time. The cabin is clean. The beds are very comfortable. Snacks were provided. The lake is great for kayaking. Amazing location minutes from Au Train Falls and Lake Superior. So peaceful and relaxing! Only thing I didnt like is that you cant lock the door when you leave.

Great location - lots of clutter

The location is beautiful! The house was full of the owner's belongings and there was lots of dog hair on the floors and furniture. Opened food containers in the refrigerator and opened cereal boxes. Lots of clutter throughout. Owner's toiletries in bathroom. Owner's clothes in closets. There was no way to secure the house when we were away...no keys were provided and there was no keypad. Very friendly owner, but the house is not the typical VRBO set-up.

Beautiful & peaceful

The deck was way nicer than what the photos show with 4 comfortable chairs and a nice table all under a screened in canopy. Great views of the lake which is very quiet with lots of birds. 2 of 3 beds were very comfortable. If its going to be hot during your stay, AC is only a window unit and struggles to get back bedrooms cool. Overall a great place to stay away from the busy tourist towns, but close to it all.

Nicy cozy beautiful

We give this cabin a 12/10! Everything was perfect from the hosts accomidating removing a path through foot and half snow to the clean perfect view and all not far from Munising! Loved our stay! And highly recommend
