Have stayed at Regency Tower 3 other times, this stay was our least favorite. The other properties were much more “homey”. I think being run by a property management company takes away from the experience. The entry codes were unavailable until exactly 4 pm, after arriving slightly early we had wait to enter the property. We got there and right away the blinds wouldn’t open and couldn’t enjoy the view of the ocean. They sent someone to fix it, but they were unable to complete the repair before we left.

The room had easy check in, was clean and had wonderful views of the beach. The concern with the room was the A/C. Even while taking all reasonable steps to keep the room cool, the temp in the room was never noted to get below 73 degrees. When cooking occurred or evening baths were taken the room was no less than 74/75 degrees. Box fans, provided with the room, were used the entire stay to make the room feel more comfortable, but failed to keep the room at temps experienced with many other units we have stayed over the years.

Lovely stay

Spacious and very clean! It didn’t feel as homey as some others we stayed in, I’m assuming because a real estate company manages it instead of the family themselves. It was still very nice for the beach. Only qualms were that the air conditioning unit would not actually cool off the place. Can’t go below 70, and feels very warm all day and night. If not for the box fans they provide, we would have had bigger issues. Box fans allowed us to stay… barely. We would even close the curtains in the afternoon to keep out sun as much as possible. Kitchen could use basic restocking (bags, aluminum foil, basic spices, Tupperware). Overall we enjoyed our time and always love where this condo is located!! Balcony was wonderful!!

Disappointing

I’ve been vacationing at Regency Towers since the early 80s and have stayed in dozens of units over the years. This condo was disappointing compared to similar units in the building. First, there is a stale mildew odor. The a/c was also not operating sufficiently to keep the unit cool. The a/c is obviously an ongoing issue, since box fans were provided in the closet. We had to keep all curtains drawn and fans running on max to keep the unit as cool as possible (still too warm) which defeated the purpose of having a beach front view. The showers still had hair on the walls on arrival. They also don’t have proper shower curtains, just a flimsy clear liner that had turned opaque with old soap residue. The grout on the tile floor was filthy and many tiles were chipped and cracked. Usually deep cleaning like grout is done on the off season so it’s fresh for summer. Some of the furnishings are outdated, worn or cheap. The primary bathroom vanity has a chipped counter and the drawers are warped and don’t close properly. Some of the end tables are particleboard and full of scratches. One of the living room lamps is a plastic 10 Walmart floor lamp. Every bed pillow in the unit is flat and hard. Decor is very sparse and just doesn’t compare to other well appointed units at this price point.Finally, there’s no washer/dryer. I’ve haven’t had a unit at Regency without laundry in at least 20 years. I wouldn’t book this unit again. There are much nicer options for the price.

Grout was truly nasty.
Only clear liners for the showers. Both were already hazy with soap residue of prior guests.

Wonderful, will be booking again.

One of the best weekends with my brother as we visited PNS to attend the Blue Angels Homecoming weekend. The condo was spotless, had several amenities and perfect if you want to stay ON the beach! We slept with the sliding doors open for the breeze and to hear the waves on the shore. Communication with property manager also A++. Call or text them with any question, comment, etc., and within minutes they respond. The price was great....when we walked in the door we both said, "oh my gosh, this is amazing." We highly recommend!!!! Thank you.

No laundry room

Great place. But the picture with a laundry room is misleading. It does current tenants no good that this facility used to have a laundry room. Would have stayed somewhere else. No one wants to drive to a laundromat on vacation.

Great view of the beach

The property had great location and easy access to the beach. Great view of the ocean and beach. Only complaint would be the condo needed updated and there was no laundry available on site.

Property was as advertised and worth the price.

This property had everything we needed and the view of the beach was great! The proximity to the pool was ideal for the kids and it was only a very short walk to the beach. I'd definitely recommend this unit for others.

Property was quite outdated and there was no washer and dryer available in the unit or on the property. We have stayed in other units on this property that were much better equipped. The location and beach views were great.

Clean but needs updating

The property was very clean. The furniture was extremely dated and worn out - water warped coffee table, dining chairs faded and worn, hodge podge patio furniture, twin bed mattresses were so incredibly hard - needed to pad with extra blankets in order to simply sleep. The living room tv is so old it isn’t compatible with HD so local channels were blurry and screen size cut off most heads despite which settings we chose. It was highly disappointing considering we paid just as much as others in our group with nicely updated condos. Definitely didn’t get what we paid for.

Short stay at Pensacola Beach

Had to reserve condo in a hurry due to family health concerns in Pensacola. Didn't have time to read all the fine print. Had 2 issues- (1) had no washer and dryer. (2) could not turn down AC below 70 degrees. Other than that, everything was great!

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be wonderful. It was clean with everything we needed. My only complaint was no washer and dryer. The towels, blinds and shower curtains need updating.
