Welcome to the New River Farmhouse, a beautifully remodeled 1934 farmhouse designed for comfort and relaxation. With 4 thoughtfully designed bedrooms and brand-new bathrooms, this cozy getaway comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests while maximizing comfort and charm.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

Insects like mosquitoes and ticks are common this time of year, especially in wooded areas. We recommend bringing bug spray and checking yourself and your pets after adventuring outdoors.

We provide enough firewood for your first night’s stay. If you need more, you can find additional firewood at nearby stores like Piggly Wiggly or Lowe’s. Since we chop our own wood, we're unable to supply firewood for multiple nights—thanks for understanding!

There are two small businesses across the street, so you may hear some noise during business hours. However, the house sits at a comfortable distance, making it unlikely to be a disturbance.

Dogs under 25 lb are allowed at the property (MAX OF 2). Any dogs over 25 lb maybe allowed at the discretion of the hosts, possibly for an additional fee. SORRY, NO CATS ALLOWED

A home with history! Built in 1934, this property has a unique architectural charm. As part of its original design, two of the upstairs bedrooms do not have traditional doors. To ensure privacy and comfort, we’ve added heavy blackout, soundproof curtains as a practical and stylish solution.

The kitchen sink does not have a garbage disposal, so please be mindful and only dispose of liquids down the drain.

SUPPLIES:

To get you started, we provide 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom (4 rolls total for the house). If you think you'll need more, we recommend bringing a few extra to ensure you're covered!

We provide each group with 2 rolls of paper towels for the kitchen. If you anticipate needing more, we recommend bringing a few extra to suit your needs.

For your convenience, we provide one laundry detergent pod to get you started. If you plan to do more laundry during your stay, we recommend bringing your own detergent and softener.
