Great fun for the littles

We very much enjoyed staying at this property. The proximity to the beach was excellent, and the street was quiet and safe for scootering and biking for the kids. The house is well stocked with all the appliances we could have needed. We very much appreciated the availability of wagons, chairs, and toys and didn’t need to bring ours down. Loved the outdoor shower for cleaning off children.

Outstanding Family Vacation.

Best vrbo that I have stayed at. Beach access is 500 feet away. They have everything you need and more for the beach. Very clean and beds are very comfortable. Full kitchen too. Everything you need for 10 plus people( dishes, silverware pots and pans)

Perfect for our family!

Our stay was great. The house was just the right size for our group of 7 adults and 6 children (ages 2-8). The hosts had everything there we could have needed...beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and much more. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. The location is in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the beach. We really had no complaints. We had a wonderful time!!

My family and I can down for my birthday weekend . The owners were awesome and extremely friendly, they went over and beyond to make us feel welcomed . Brought over cupcakes for my birthday . The house was great, relaxing , beautiful. Could not have asked for a better place to stay . Can not thank them enough for making us feel so welcomed .

Pictures and descriptions of property were great making it easy for us to determine this property would work for us. The renting process was also easy. Mike was very helpful with anything we needed. The home was the perfect getaway for us. We enjoyed the Firepit, corn hole, Mellie loved the beach wagon and sand toys!! Thank you very much

SO DISAPPOINTING- Owners are on top you!

VERY disappointing stay. We came for a short family vacation- 4 nights. The pictures of the house are better than in person & it looks more spacious than it actually is. The house is an old beach house- which I gathered going into it. The is no central AC- only a window unit upstairs & it's VERY loud. The floors slant, esp in the upstairs bathroom. The toilets take two flushes to flush. The furniture is fine. There was sand on the furniture when we arrived- a lack of a through cleaning from previous renters. There is a small set of actual dishes & glasses , but the majority if the kitchenware is plastic. The beds were comfortable, except for the downstairs bunk beds which were very rickety & would make me nervous to have anyone sleep on the top bunks. The stairs going up to second floor are pretty steep & very narrow. The owners are literally RIGHT BESIDE YOU on the front deck. If there are people on their deck, and there always was, you can hear every word. They were also over on our side of the deck rearranging the deck furniture, putting covers on & off the furniture because of rain, putting up and taking down flags. At one point I had just gotten out of the shower & was cracking the sliding door from the master bedroom & there was the owner on our side of the deck covering a chair- she just laughed & stood rt there in front of me! They washed their car in the driveway- not really what I want to see on vacation in front of me. They had friends coming and going, which came up the main stairs to the deck that we were on, there is a private entrance under the deck that they should've used while having renters on the top deck. Very intrusive- there was no privacy whatsoever. Not sure if they thought they were being helpful, but our polite no "thank you's" and "we're fine" should have been an indicator that we did not want to be bothered. The worst situation was when we informed them that the downstairs toilet was not flushing properly. We only had one more night and we told them it was fine & we could just use the upstairs one. We told them this as we were going out to get something to eat & that out teenage daughter was taking a nap inside so they could look at it later. Sure enough, when we came back, the man said he had gone in and fixed it AND checked the upstairs toilet as well! Again our 14yr old daughter was inside napping ALONE! I was outraged, but did not say anything because we were leaving in the morning. Will never stay/recommend

Great place to stay for location

The host was very nice and communicated well on things we needed to know before we arrived. The location was perfect being close to where we’re going to focus our time. Great for families or groups. Lots of room.

Great location in this price range.

We found the the rental experience very straightforward. The house is a duplex, with the owner, Mike living next door. It makes excellent use of space. We had eight people and were quite comfortable. Four were older teenagers, for which the first floor bedroom with four nice size bunks was ideal. You can’t beat the proximity to the beach. Would definitely go back.

Perfect beach getaway!

This home was perfect for our needs, a fully furnished open living space upstairs with games, spacious bedrooms, extremely accommodating and friendly owners, a 5 minute walk to the beach and full access to any beach equipment/toys you could want/need. We were really happy with this rental.

Terrific Beach Getaway

This was a great VRBO rental. I look forward to renting it again. The property description is spot on. Location was great. It was a quick, easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed listening to the surf as we relaxed on the deck in the quiet evening. Amenities were great, and the unit was very clean and comfortable.

Vacation

We had a blast staying at the property. It was big enough for our group of 11 and still had room. Mike and Judy are super nice and super helpful. If we ever come back to North Carolina I would definitely stay here again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS AWESOME RENTAL

This place is AWESOME! The owners were very helpful and made our stay even better! The owners showed us southern hospitality at its finest! The house is spacious and very clean! Everyone slept comfortably on the beds, which are amazingly comfy! The TVs were great for family movie nights after long days on the beach! They also provide beach chairs and some kids beach toys and games which was awesome and very helpful! The walk to the beach was short! The public beach access is great and not crowded with too many beach goers. The deck provides an awesome spot to sit and relax and still get sun! Restaurants and local beach shops were close by and a short drive away from the house! This place provided me with an awesome beach experience and the owners told us about local places that I never would’ve thought to visit on my own! I will definitely be making another trip next summer to come back here!

Awesome Accommodations

This duplex is beautiful! The owners are awesome and attentive. The beach is a gorgeous little walk from the house. They have many beach chairs and towels already at the condo. The house sleeps many guests comfortably. The beds are so comfortable. The owners also offered us food and treats during our stay! Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous vacation rental.

The owners of the property who live right next door are AMAZING!! Thank you so much Mike and Judy for all of your graciousness and helpfulness. We loved your property. It was perfect for everyone. I was worried with the amount of guests we were bringing that it was going to be a little difficult to accommodate, but I was wrong. Plenty of space, and EVERYTHING we could have needed was available in the Kitchen. We especially enjoyed those chocolate cupcakes when we arrived. The distance to the beach is such a nice walk. We will definitely be staying there again. Thank you so very much :)

Great place to stay!

We arrived very late on Friday night, we sat on the front porch and it was very relaxing to hear the waves of the sea after driving for two and half hours!! The next morning we got up, had breakfast and went to the beach walking, because it's close and also went walking to the pier! Mr. Mike and his wife, who are in the next door, make you feel very welcome ( They left brownies for us as a way to welcome us to their place)! We just went for the weekend and sure we will book again and will do for more days! Thanks Mr. Mike and Ms. Judy for sharing your place with us!

Relaxing Getaway with Great Location!

Mike and Judy were wonderful hosts. They ensured every part of our visit was perfect. There was plenty of room for 9 guests to sleep, eat, and hangout. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy this spot even more. They had everything provided for a convenient stay including bedding, towels, games, and even beach chairs! We took advantage of the short walk to the beach and they even brought us a bottle of champagne to celebrate the bride-to-be. Thank you so much! I hope we can come back soon.
