Captiva is beautiful, and I don't think there could be a better spot than this in all of Captiva. Nice little modern condo with a stunning view of the Gulf, steps to the beach. A note that they have built dunes for beach restoration purposes, so the photo is not exactly accurate as it shows flat sand to the beach itself. Does not interfere with the amazing sunsets, we even saw the "green flash." One of the best things was the aerie pole visible in the picture, which was home to a couple of osprey while we were there. Parking is easy and included. We would totally go back to that exact unit. There is a small pool which we did not use due to some sort of flying bugs lol #florida. The beach itself is excellent and not crowded.

We had a very nice stay. I was happy to find out how easy it was to walk to places to eat (Bubble and Green Flash) and shop for food (Provisions) and other. The unit was well equipped, only thing missing was a nice chefs knife (and in-unit washer dryer would have been nice). Walks on the beach, observing the osprey and just hanging on the balcony were perfect. There was some construction going on but it didn’t bother us at all.

Perfect location

Great view and beach access. Room was very clean and was just as explain in the add. Would recommend very highly as Kingfisher followed up with us on anything we needed.

Unfortunately we had several issues with this property. It was cutely decorated but for the price we shouldn’t have had to deal with as many problems as we did!! Upon arrival on day 1, our 1 and only toilet didn’t work. We called to get that fixed which wasn’t fixed until the next day. Secondly, there were a lot of sugar ants in the living room and in the kitchen. We didn’t even have a chance to eat anything or have food out…they simply were everywhere. Within the first two days we noticed a rancid odor coming from the kitchen sink. The garbage disposal didn’t work to clear the drain so we were assuming it was like that from the previous guest. As far as the bedroom goes, the porch light was so bright that is lit up the bedroom making it very difficult to sleep. There are no curtains on the windows so we tried to close the blinds only to discover that they were installed backwards and couldn’t be closed. We notified property management and they did fix the blinds when they came to fix the toilet but that did little if anything to fix the issue with the light. We ended up hanging our large beach towel over the blinds. It helped a little more but we strongly suggest some blackout curtains to be hung in the bedroom not only for the light but most importantly, privacy!!!! The final issue we had with the condo was more of an inconvenience. There was NO hooks, racks and barely any furniture to store our things for our two week stay. We do not recommend this unit!

Beautiful Spot Right On the Beach

I'll start with the good... Extremely clean. Well furnished and well appointed. Came with chairs and towels, etc. Just be aware: It is advertised as having a washing machine and dryer but does not have either. There is a lot of contruction on the resort. So much so that the pool in the neighborhood was not functional and bc the unit is not affiliated with the resort we did not have wrist bands to access the main resort pool, pool bar, etc. Just be aware in case that is important to you.
