We enjoyed our time in Erie. The accommodations are perfect for a homebase if you will be out and about, and want to support local addiction recovery efforts. The water pressure is amazing!

Second time staying at this property. I have to say this was a much more enjoyable experience. Much cleaner! This property is close to everything. Would stay again.

Pictures do not tell the real story. Parking is hard to find and the neighborhood was pretty sketchy. Not very clean and the stairs to get into the upstairs apartment are extremely steep.

Home was clean & comfortable, if you are planning to do much cooking it is not well stalked,lacking pots & pans. It is on the second floor. Gas bottle for grill was not there. could use some outdoor seating for those who like to relax out doors. we were there for a fishing charter, needed a place to sleep and shower, fit our needs, clean beds and a clean bathroom relaxing living room

Decent area but only property on block with uncut grass. Could not use grill, filthy. Could not use bed in second bedroom was wobbly, unsafe. Had high wattage light bulbs in range hood.Bathroom pedestal sink not secured. Wobbled easily was afraid of breaking iy.Host responded quickly when asked if we could enter property an hour early. Could be a nice property if taken care of better

Overall the rating was okay/poor due to a few factors- the beds were extremely uncomfortable, there were no curtains in one bedroom. The kitchen was lacking clean sponges and cleaning equipment. I had to wipe out the tub with clorox and wipes because there was dirt and stains. The kitchen was decorated well and the living room was spacious, but there were no extra towels or blankets. I would not recommend especially because the high price.

The pictures are deceiving, this is an upstairs apartment, to enter the steps are very steep with no light. the bathroom was dirty, the place was not cleaned! Hair on the toilet, the tub looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. This place has window air conditioning with dirt and outside debris in the window seals. The bunk beds were on safe for my children they wobbled and shooked they were not even tightened all the way . no pillows on the bunk beds - spiders everywhere cobwebs in the corners of the walls- the parking is in the back and u have to drive in the yard… the description does not tell you it’s an upstairs apartment if you’re an older couple or a couple with children I would not suggest.. It is not in a great neighborhood. There is no light in the back or on the side stoop where u enter the apartment/ air bnb. The ceiling has hole in the drop titles.

Our host was very responsive to our questions and needs. The apartment was very cute and had everything we needed. We didn’t realize it was second floor space and the steps were very steep and challenging for an older adult with bad knees.

All the basics covered for our two day stay. Discovered that St Hedwig Church is one block away! This is the church in the Erie Diocese that offers a Latin high mass Sundays at 9:30 AM. Location was our primary reason for booking as it is close to many activities. Did not see a washer or dryer, but not one of our needs. Off street parking in an urban environment was appreciated.

Why a poor rating ?: I have a safety concern about the pedestal sink in the bathroom at this property. The sink bowl is not attached to the pedestal or the wall and the pedestal is not attached to the floor. It’s just floating there. A child could easily pull this down on top of them. ???The shower/tub in the bathroom is so old and so worn out its looks dirty. NO washer or dryer as advertised. ???LIKED: the living room was nice and bedrooms were ok. The kitchen was nice but could have been a little cleaner. The oven could sure use a cleaning. … it’s like the renovation was never completed and the little details that make a place nice were overlooked.

This is definitely a listing that you have to lower your expectations for. It looks like a DIY project gone bad. If I had booked it for more than 2 nights I would have been very upset. On top of it not being the cleanest place we have stayed it is up a steep flight of steps. They list that towels are provided. This literally means bath towels. No hand towels, no wash cloths, and no kitchen towels or paper towels. The hand soap in the bathroom was empty. The sink top in the bathroom wobbled as well. There was hair and soap scum in the shower. The bunk bed moved very easily. We ended up putting the top mattress on the floor so the kids could get some sleep. No washer/dryer or dishwasher. Minimal kitchen supplies provided. The coffeemaker is a Keurig which I liked and pods were provided. Some other positives are the AC worked well and it was very close to everything. The host also allowed us to park in the grass outback off the street.
