Esta es una villa de playa de dos dormitorios y dos baños en el complejo de South Seas. Los dos pisos superiores en una unidad de edificio de ascensor 2433
Renovado y muy agradable, tiene las MEJORES vistas, ya que ocupa los dos pisos superiores del complejo de condominios.

Un paraguas PUEDE estar disponible. No lo garantizo ya que se rompe con misiones frecuentes y no se informa como dañado, pero los reviso cada vez que estoy allí.

Todos mis artículos de playa incluyen sillas, toallas de playa, hielera y juguetes de arena. Trust issues

A bit awkward. First issue is trust. Most of our stays are with people whom assume their clients are trustworthy. I did not get that impression. Second issue, we were vacating the property one hour prior to check-out and a person came to door demanding we open door. He then stated we had a leak and proceeded to photo my face prior to me closing door. Odd. I do not want to make any public assumptions on this matter.

How can you possibly have a better location - there is no way

Walk down stairs, walk on very short path, swim in ocean. This is the main reason we chose this rental. And it did not disappoint. We wanted days at the beach and we got it. An absolutely beautiful beach at that! All the other stuff was fine too - but waking up and seeing the ocean from the screened in porch as we ate breakfast - amazing. Getting to go swimming or sun tanning all day long, with a quick walk back to the condo for bathroom and refreshments - even better.

Spend the extra money and stay at the resort. You won’t regret it.

We have stayed at South Seas three different times over the past 10 years. We thought we would save some money and not book directly through the resort. Upon entering the property we were disappointed. It smelled moldy, carpet felt as though the sand and beach water had not been cleaned or dried. The bathroom had mold and the sheet rock above the shower had an area that was black and looked like the ceiling was about to crumble and fall in. The air conditioner rattled all night, beach umbrellas that were advertised were actually small plastic umbrellas that I could barely fit under and were half broken. The dishwasher rack was broken. Needless to say we were very disappointed. We love Captiva and the beaches, but this was less than desirable. We packed up and left after the first night.

The place was very dirty! Mold and hole in the shower.

We felt like it was dirty and gross furniture. It needs to be replaced and cleaned. Our bed sheets were dirty and we never did receive pillow cases. Some positives were the beach chairs and 1 umbrella. We were not aware of the rules of not being able to use the golf course we brought clubs so that was a big disappointment for sure. Also one roll of toilet paper and no garbage bags seemed so cheep. It was inconvenient to have to run but toilet paper and trash bags. We arrived late and had to call our owner because I never received our code or email prior. She was very bothered and put out. Didn’t feel like that was very kind or professional at all. Worst part…. DIRTY!!! Gross. But still had an amazing trip because of our company!

Best Sunsets

Stayed at 2433 with my family of five (1,6,8 year old kids). The views are amazing. Was a nice cozy condo perfect location on the gulf. Will definitely be back in the future.

Living with the ROACHES - cockroaches that is!

We were unable to complete our stay due to cockroaches in OUR BED the size of our HAND! It was completely unacceptable and disgusting. Kim told us they probably need to spray again, and that “this is a normal occurrence” in Florida rentals. We called multiple times, sent text messages and emails and no help was provided. Alternative accommodations were not given, and we had to pay for an additional vacation rental. Save yourself a lot of time, money, and peace of mind and don’t book with Cockroach Kim!

Perfect beachside retreat!

Stayed here with my family for some much need R&R and received just that! We had plenty of space in the unit for our group of 4 and loved how the pool and beach were just steps away if we ever needed to run back to the house for anything! Check-in was so easy and Kim replied to my emails quickly.

Paradise on the beach

The property looks exactly like the descriptions and photos. The view from the balcony was gorgeous; you can hear the ocean waves day and night. Everything was clean and prepared for my arrival. The host was very fast with responding to questions. The wi-fi didn't work but there was open wi-fi for all guests, the cable TV reception wasn't good, but it was a problem caused by the cable company that was affecting everyone in the area and was beyond the host's ability to fix. This specific unit has a small single step before you reach the door, anyone who is 100% wheelchair dependent would have to trouble shoot how to get manage that step. My mother uses a walker/wheelchair and was able to easily manage the step with her walker. Everything else was great and I plan to return again.

Great Location

We loved the location of the property to access the resort and town of Captiva; views were spectacular. We had a problem with the cleanliness of the condo but the owner responded immediately to have it cleaned. She is also going to wash the carpets that are filthy.

Amazing

A location you can’t beat and a jaw dropping view. We had an amazing time here and can not wait to return. The owner replied fast and was reliable. The rental had everything you needed. Walking distance to all the shops, as located right inside the resort. The pools were nice and great beach access. Loved the two floors in the condo. Thanks so much!

Captiva Vacay

The property is extremely dated and truly needs some TLC. Very tired and dirty rugs and furniture. No mattress padding or mattress covers on the bed so felt very unhygienic. There were plenty of towels and beach towels which were new so that was a plus. Also the unit is extremely spacious and has a good size balcony. Cushions on balcony chairs very dirty and moldy. Old beach chairs we had to use as well since you cannot use the resort beach chairs. Saw other units beach supplies and they were newer and in good condition. The toilets/showers were rusted, chipped, and moldy. A brand new shower curtain though which was good. The cabinets in the bathrooms were not clean. The refrigerator had very rusted shelving in the freezer and the coffee pot was corroded. I ended up cleaning the coffee maker to the best of my ability and the kitchen... as well as the significantly dirty window in the twin bedroom which was covered in soot and dust on the inside as well as the outside and couldn't be open as screens were ripped and the handles wouldn't crank. The owner's attitude was okay enough before we arrives; but felt aggressive at times about monies, the contract and the beach items. We also did not need to know her concierge quit on her the day before our arrival. It caused more stress to our already stressful situation of trying to leave before a blizzard. She was adamant we not arrive before 4pm on our date. It would've been so much kinder if she could have been a tad more flexibility with this as our travel was so tough due to the blizzard. The location is amazing I will say. Just go in with low expectations for the condo appearance and cleanliness. I peeked into other units in our building and they were pretty nicely appointed, updated, and clean. I will definitely go back to Captiva but will not rent this unit again. Overall we cleaned the place the best we could and rolled with it and had a very nice vacation.

Liked it so much, I extended my rental.

Last-minute trip to escape winter for a few days. This condo delivered. Postcard views, great location. Owner Kim was very helpful. Notified me of extra availability so I could extend my stay. Watched sunset into ocean from screened porch. Didn’t utilize beach gear, but looked well stocked. Several restaurants, two general stores, and Starbucks an easy walk from condo. Two heated pools out front. Upper floor offered quiet along with the views. Beach is star of the show. Miles of clean, uncrowded sand. Effortlessly relaxing. Would definitely book again. Two thumbs up.

Captiva Vacation

I love the location, but the condo needs some repairs. It does not seem like money goes back into the condo. When we arrived, there were large pieces of broken glass in the downstairs bathroom, the paint/wall paper is peeling on some walls, and the remote to the TV has several layers of tape holding it together, both large beach umbrellas were broken and toilet paper holder falling off the wall. These were all minor issues and overall the condo is good while spending most of the time outside. This is my second time renting this facility because I love the location and views so much, but might go through the actual resort next time.
