Take a break from city life to enjoy our tiny home in the country!

This newly converted, custom-built 40ft shipping container sits on 13 acres to explore, and is just 21 miles from downtown Austin. Cottonwood Creek forms the Northern border with Willow, Bois D'Arc and other native trees.

Get a taste of sustainable, tiny-home living in our thoughtfully designed space, featuring a 65" TV with surround sound, outdoor seating with gas grill, firepit, corn hole, etc.

Wide open spaces high above the creek provide a stellar view of the famous Texas sunsets & sunrises, as well as ideal space for stargazing. You can also hike and explore amongst the trees along Cottonwood Creek!

INSIDE:

Our custom-built container home features brand new appliances and furniture.

Kitchen: Washer/Dryer, Refrigerator/Freezer, Dishwasher

*Please Note: this home includes a large toaster oven (fits up to a 12-in pizza!) and brand new microwave, but *no standard oven*. The 2-burner inductive cooktop is a sustainable choice and actually cooks faster than a traditional stovetop!

Stocked with dishes, pots, pans, silverware, bottle openers, etc.

Bathroom: Shower, Sink, Composting vented toilet, emptied after every guest stay. Long-term guests will need to empty their own.

Bedroom: Full-sized bed and Walk-in Closet

Living room: Queen sleeper sofa, 65" 4k Samsung TV with 5.0 surround sound.

WIFI from 50-150mbps.

OUTSIDE:

Relax outdoors directly under the expansive sky, or stay covered from rain (& sun!) under our 800 sq. ft. lean-to shed covering the furnished patio area, gas & charcoal grills and firepit.

During the day, you're likely to see one of the many red-tailed hawks that frequent the area, as well as deer and turtles along the creek. You might also see coyotes and bobcats! Enjoy the wide open spaces for outdoor games and breathing that country air!

By night, you can cozy up around the firepit, wrapped in blankets and roasting marshmallows while you gaze at the stars.

No local noise ordinance is enforced, so you can play music to your heart's content!

**Please note: There might be increased road noise from passing vehicles during commuting hours. We plan to move the shipping container in the near future to be further away from the road to help alleviate this.**

**FYI: We have security cameras outside the residence for security purposes on our land. There are NO cameras inside the home; your privacy is protected!**

LOCATION:

-Austin, Elgin, Bastrop, Taylor, Pflugerville are all only minutes away.

-This is a great home-base for road bicycling, as there are stellar rides all around the property with very little traffic.

-Great location to stay after ACL, a day of racing at the F1 COTA, or just to get away and relax. An ideal space for a writer or artist needing to get away to peace and nature to recharge and CREATE!

-Uber/Lyft transportation is available from this location.

-Pizza and other delivery options are also available.

-HEB is a 10-minute drive

Guest access:
Guests will have private access to the entire 13 acres all to themselves.

There's plenty of parking on property!

There is a locked gate to access the property. This combination will be provided after the reservation is confirmed.
