We rented this beautiful house due to its location. We decided to have a wedding in our backyard, and this beautiful home was just up the street. It was perfect for me, the bride, and my bridesmaids to get ready in.Everything was very clean. One of my bridesmaids remarked that this was the best short-term rental home she’s ever stayed in. We would definitely recommend this to our out-of-state guests when they come to visit.

This was a 5 star for us (a group of moms and their kids). We felt very safe, the house was stocked and Pattie was great with communication. She even left little notes and things specific to our stay in town. Would definitely rent her home again!

What a delightful place - we stayed here for roughly a week as we moved our daughter into a downtown Dayton apartment and we could not have been happier! The location was ideal and everything was clean and exactly as described. Lots of wonderful attention to detail and respect for guest comfort and the house itself is absolutely charming. Would not hesitate to book again - thanks for everything!!

Weekend Getaway

This was a nice and peaceful place to stay with my family. We had our choices of bed sizes and room to spread out to watch TV, read, talk, and/or eat. Pattie, our host, was always quick to reply and helpful. She was thoughtful with all the amenities in all areas of the house. (The candy was a "sweet" surprise!)

Our host Pattie did a great job of communicating with us. The house was very welcoming. It was really nice that each room upstairs had it's own heating unit. That worked out because our family members on the first floor like it cooler and our older members like it warmer. So we were able to stay comfortable.

We stay there fir the first four. Patricia response was quick. She made sure we were good at her rental. Very good lady. Described as seen on vrbo. Kitchen best stocked one I have been in. Bathrooms clean everything you need. Had games to play if wanted to. All beds were comfortable. Had no issues there at all. Older area of Dayton. But easy to get everywhere. Thank you Patricia for quick responses and making sure we were satisfied with everything.

We were in town for our son’s wedding. Our other son drove from Florida, and the rest of us flew in from various locations. Florida got there before us and was able to access the house and rest after the long drive. There were 6 people total and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked and we were able to prepare meals and eat together. The beds are very comfortable and everything was very clean. We were very happy with this rental, every detail was thought of and we were able to enjoy our time together celebrating.

I’ve learned over the years that travel feels so much better when you can bring a bit of “home” with you. While we can’t pack our entire house or every creature comfort, I’ve tried to create a space that gives you the next best thing — a home that’s more than basic, with comfortable beds, room to spread out, and thoughtful touches that make settling in easy.

My goal is for you to feel relaxed, cared for, and at ease, no matter what brings you to Dayton. I truly hope you enjoy your stay.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

The Carly House sits in an ideal location for guests who want quick access to the interstate and to Dayton’s best attractions. You’re just minutes from downtown, the University of Dayton, unique local shops, and great restaurants. The home is nestled in a quiet, family‑friendly neighborhood filled with beautiful historic homes, offering both convenience and a peaceful place to unwind.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

The Carly House is special to me because it was my very first home, and I’ve poured a lot of love into making it a place where guests feel genuinely cared for. I’ve filled it with the same comforts I enjoy when I travel—plush beds, cozy spaces, thoughtful amenities, and little touches that make settling in effortless. My goal is to give you a stay that feels warm, welcoming, and wonderfully comfortable, just like home.
