Good place for family

Our family enjoyed our stay, Our host responded quickly to our concerns. We had a great view of the lake. We even got to see a bear from the safety of the deck.

Beautiful Location! Spacious!

Rick communicated well with me - had a couple of issues with the house but he was responsive. He was very accommodating with our parking issue! Great place for a large group - lots of places for people to spread out and have private area!

Not Luxury Stay

To start the check in and check out times from Vrbo does not match what property owner actually expects. The property is in a nice enough neighborhood but it is inaccurately described, all cabinetry (kitchen/bath) falling from hinges, shower doors seals literally just hanging from one corner making water leak out onto floor. Wifi/TVs & heat did not work first day, property owner was contacted and had me go around restarting electronics as he didn't want to call someone if not necessary, in regards to heat I was told to buy fire wood until maintenance person was able to get to property (which they did at around 4:30 PM the second day). There were ants in kitchen and bedroom & bath upstairs and cobwebs everywhere. The original plan was to rent a place and relax and enjoy property, instead we just used it to sleep. Not worth it for price charged.

Nice house

The house has beautiful views. The beds were comfortable and showers are huge. We enjoyed our stay. Location is excellent in Crystal Bay. The biggest challenge was the kitchen. We knew a head of time that the oven was broken but the next renter should know that the oven is tiny. The house sleeps ten but there isn’t a lot of counter space in the kitchen for cooking/prepping food. That was our only complaint. Also, renters should know that you can really only park two cars, maybe three if there’s no snow and they are small cars. We would definitely stay again.

Great Cabin Stay!

Went here for my bachelor party and had an amazing weekend. Property was really nice and fit 9 adults just fine (we shared double beds). Loved the cabin vibe and the view of the lake from the living room and deck was incredible! The cabin is also in a great location - its a 5 minute drive to a lot of restaurants, casinos, and a Safeway grocery store. It’s close to skiing too, although we didn’t do any of that. When we went the oven wasn’t working which was a bit of a bummer, but the kitchen was stocked with pots/pans and plenty of utensils so we were able to cook a couple of big family style dinners (including using the charcoal grill on the deck!). The TV in the living room was equipped with cable which was really awesome because it allowed us to watch all of the football we desired. There is also WiFi in the cabin, although that was a bit spotty for us (we still had cell service so no big deal). Finally, Rick was a great host and very responsive to all of my questions. I highly recommend this cabin for your next Tahoe stay!

Great house with great views.

Awesome lake views. The deck was awesome place to hang out. Overall a good experience. Had a little issue checking in. We were told 4pm although VRBO ad said 3pm, tried to clarify with owner but never heard from him. When we got there at 4pm the maid was still cleaning the house. We couldn't get in the house til 5pm. Other than that great house.

Snow day

We got at the cabin when snowing. There was a a snow plow the next morning so getting in and out was never a problem. We had a good time and the view was great

Great location for access to several ski resorts

We enjoyed the stay, plenty of room. It is a nice home with plenty of amenities. Owner is very responsive.

Perfect place to spend with family

Rick’s place is great. Very comfy with everything you need. He was great to communicate with too. Easy access to lots of places and ski resorts. You won’t be disappointed

Nice house, good location, beautiful view

House was nice. 4 bedrooms with beds for 10. Beautiful views of lake from family room. Open, with lots of natural light with large windows and high ceilings. Nice room downstairs for teens. Theater chairs and two queen Murphy beds. Room did have a damp smell. Cons- kitchen needs help. Built in microwave not working (new microwave taking up very limited counter space) oven is very small and did not work during our stay. (Owner told me about this before we left) old electric cook top, microwave and charcoal bbq on deck was it. Cooking for large group was difficult and frustrating. . I felt like I was camping at times. No counter space, terrible appliances, no storage, etc. Minus kitchen house is great. This house does not have a garage, but had room for 3 cars in front. Overall great stay and would stay again!

I apologize that the appliance repair company could not get the part in for the oven repair and the new built in microwave did not arrive in time for your stay. I appreciate your feedback that the new counter top interim micrrowave I purchased, took up some of the counter space. Family vacation on the lake

Had a wonderful time in Lake Tahoe in this property. Only item I wish I knew beforehand was that there was no AC. It would’ve been fine but the recent fires and air quality during our stay did not allow us to keep doors and windows open. Also, the fan in the living room did not work. Overall, the house is a wonderful retreat for a family vacation.

Tahoe retreat

Perfect spot to relax and unwind with family. The views from the deck are awesome. Modern rustic decor was very comfortable. Bedrooms, bathrooms and media room nice a large. Will definitely look to stay here next time we visit Lake Tahoe!

Great location, comfy digs!

Repeat traveler to Rick's place. Great location with views of the lake and mountains. Deck is a nice place to hang out after a long mountain bike ride or kayaking in the bay. Fire road up the hill with fantastic view of the entire lake. Adequate number of beds and bathrooms for a group of friends. Kitchen well stocked. Rick is a responsive owner and takes care of his property. Enjoy your stay!

Million Dollar View Deck at Reasonable Price

My family absolutely loved this house during Fourth of July and had front row seats to firework show from patio. The house accommodates big families and close to everything. I would highly recommend and look forward to returning.
