Out family (ages 2.5 to 82) really enjoyed our stay at the property. Pool is a great design for little ones to play in. A bathroom for every bedroom meant everyone had their own space, which was great. Kitchen had everything you need. Loved the upstairs private balcony off the one king bedroom, a quiet place to reflect and enjoy the ocean views and breezes.

Great location and all in all we had a great family trip. Check in at 5pm is non standard anywhere else in the country but IOP, and so is 9am Check out. We got in at 4:45 and got extended check out to 10:30am. That said you get 2 days for the price of 3 nights. Property was well equipped and clean but is in need of TLC. Mostly cosmetic but could use some paint etc. Pool need to be filled overnight because it was below the filters which also required it to be cleaned. That was addressed the morning after check in. While the house was well equipped they did not provide beach towels. Found that odd for a high-end rental. I am the owner of a very high-end rental at the New Jersey Shore and this is something we provide along with beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and floaties for the pool.I am admittedly bit of an OCD perfectionist so I am probably being a bit harsh. All in all this is good family house. A little more attention to detail would make it a great family house.

Thank you for providing your feedback. So glad your family trip was great and that you did love the home. Check in does stipulate 5 pm however, sometimes it can land earlier. It just depends on what is going on at the time and whether or not the owners have some vendors trying to do some work in between guests, which I believe was the case on your day of check in. We were happy to extend your check out though! We will pass your comments about touch ups around the home to our maintenance team. We do appreciate all feedback so that we can improve! We understand your thoughts about the beach towels. We have a supply company that we obtain those from, so are able to offer beach towel packages for rent as a convenience. We do let everyone know ahead of time so they are aware of this. Re the pool - all of our pools have particular days that they are serviced so we try to keep on that schedule. We will help you though if you notify us or see something out of the ordinary and reach out to them as soon as possible! We do appreciate your thoughts though, so thank you for sharing with us. Customer service is very important to us. Hope to see you again some time in the future! EP Team

Very nice beach house

This house is very comfortable. It is roomy, laid out well and on the beach. We enjoyed our stay here. The management company was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

Great space for our group of 16, 8 adults, 8 ages 1-17. Property was very clean on arrival, little dust; no hair balls, dirt, or sand inside. Kitchen and bathrooms were clean. Property could use some TLC: long term smudges on doors, due for paint inside and out. Exterior doors were all able to be secured but one was with a drop down bar, another stuck so much it was hard to open. Small things missing that could make it an A property: more kitchen towels, bathroom hooks and racks for bath towels. We had a couple of mechanical issues that were handled as quickly as possible, no offer of compensation to us but we didn't request any. Sufficient living area aside from the bedrooms but not excessive, which we apprciated, not many indoor areas for anybody to disappear to. Long walk to beach which had pros and cons, VRBO pics were accurate. We've been doing this for over 20 years, all things considered this was a very good trip that the house was a big part of.

Management is helpful and very friendly! House was lovely and filled with everything you need. The couches are in need of being replaced but other than that great home!

Fabulous family fun at IOP beachfront "Barbados"

This fabulous beachfront home offers it all! Spacious indoor chef kitchen, dining, living spaces as well as everything outdoors; direct beachfront access, pool, putting green, ping-pong, gas grill, dining & poolside lounging. Awesome ocean views and the comfiest night's sleep, too!

We had a great time at the Barbados house! The owner was so responsive and the house was amazing. It had everything we could have wanted. I would highly recommend to anyone with a large family or group of friends.

Amazing Property!

Our family of 13 absolutely loved staying at Barbados. It was a perfect 7-bedroom getaway for a family wedding weekend. The house was very clean, spacious and comfortable! We loved the pool and very short walk to the beach! The realty company was VERY accomodating. This property has all the extras for a great vacation! A perfect home!

Beautiful and spacious home on the shore with a beautiful beach

Beautiful, well kept property with a great kitchen, spacious common area and 7 ensuite bedrooms. The pool, putting green and fire pit were all used often and the kids loved the private bridge over the dunes to the beach and played back and forth constantly. Absolutely fantastic beach. Great place for a vacation with an extended family. Attentive and communicative management.

Great home for large family vacation!

Our group of 9 adults & 6 kids stayed in this beautiful home during July 2020 for family vacation. The location is wonderful. The home was beautiful & has a great layout for a large group. Just a short walk over the dunes & your at the beach. We loved this location for vacation because in 30 minutes you could be in Charleston for some excursions. Traffic was not an issue unlike parts of Florida. We agreed one of our favorite family vacations yet.

40th Anniversary Trip

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barbados! Check in was efficient and the communication with the property management team was excellent. The only issue was an ice maker that wasn't working but it was fixed promptly. Beautiful beach location and the house was very clean, nicely decorated. Easy access to all of the sightseeing opportunities the Charleston area has to offer. Catching several sharks was a highlight. Great family memories made here!

Anniversary celebration with family

This beautiful house has a 180 degree view of the ocean, with a fire pit and games available. They even had skewers for the marshmallows. We enjoyed the deck in the morning and the shade it provides in the afternoon. It was perfect for us because it is a less than 30 min drive to downtown Charleston with minimal traffic, so some of us could go on tours while others could be on the beach. The beach was not crowded.

50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Barbados was our home for the celebration of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. All aspects of the house, and property, exceeded the expectations of our family of eighteen. The house was exceptionally clean, and furnished appropriately for the number of guests. The kitchen was well stocked with extensive cookware and dinnerware. Having two refrigerators, ice maker, microwave, gourmet oven, grill, etc. was very effective in providing cooked meals for the family. The pool and boardwalk access to the beach are in excellent condition. Exclusive Properties and the Barbados were the perfect hosts for a family gathering.
