The Space:

The Salty Soul is set up so that 14 people can share a home without feeling like they're on top of each other. The three-level layout means the kids can have the lower level, the adults can take the upper living room, and everyone comes together at the pool or around the dining table that seats the whole group.



The kitchen is stocked the way a vacation kitchen should be — not just pots and pans, but seasonings, a full coffee setup, an Instant Pot, a blender, a rice cooker, and enough bakeware to feed a crowd. Guests consistently tell us it has everything they could possibly need, and then some.



Outside, the heated saltwater pool and hot tub are the heart of the home. The pergola-covered bar area and lounge furniture mean there's always somewhere to settle in, and the upper decks catch the ocean breeze in a way that's hard to leave. Beach chairs and a wagon are stocked and ready so you can walk to the beach in 5 minutes without hauling gear from your car.

The Salty Soul sits in the Whalehead community — one of Corolla's most sought-after neighborhoods. It's a quiet, residential stretch that feels miles from the tourist hustle, but you're a 5-minute flat walk to the beach, with restaurants, grocery stores, and shops within easy driving distance.

Rental Agreement

After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.



Guest Verification with Truvi

Trust & Safety Fee

Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.



Property Access & Maintenance

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.



Security Cameras

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.



Pool Heat

Please note that pool heaters are intended to gently warm the water and take the chill off. They are not designed to heat the pool to a hot-tub or bath-water temperature. Heaters work best when temperatures are 55 degrees and above.
