House was perfect for three couples; beds were comfortable and kitchen had basic items we needed for a short stay.

The management was very flexible in that they allowed us to check in early…definitely appreciated that:). When we initially got there for our early check in, the code was not yet active but a quick phone call remedied that quickly. While the hard surfaces such as the bathroom and kitchen were clean.. and the bedding was clean and comfortable, the carpet, furniture, and rug the family room were filthy and all need to be replaced… it is beyond being cleaned. This house was fine for our purposes.. which included a college football game with college kids, but I would not stay here again. The kitchen was also poorly appointed… there were only 2 bowls.

House is in a good location, quite neighborhood, house matches description and pictures, with the exception of the backyard screened in porch which has some holes/rips in the screen. Check-in was a hassle: property management company (not VRBO) required that I upload a photo of my drivers license but they waited until 3 days before check in to request it. I was in a remote area, had poor cell phone reception. I would have preferred to option of doing at time of reservation. Instead I was forced to alter plans and use my precious vacation time to comply; otherwise they would not send me check in instructions (and refund window had already expired.The property management company also charged additional 50 (three days before I arrived) because they made a mistake and thought I was going to bring a pet. Needed to call property management company 3 times to correct the the issue and get a refund.

Close to Fort Jackson

Overall, we were very happy with our stay. I would recommend letting it be known that there is a dining table and 6 chairs and also a table and 4 chairs on porch. Also to let you know of some improvements that could be made, there is a need for comforters on upstairs beds. Also, the kitchen needs better and more silverware. We are just letting you know these small things for your sake. We are not complaining. We really did enjoy staying at this house. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are very nice. The location is very convenient and very close to Gate 2 on Fort Jackson. The upstairs worked very well for 4 children underthe age of 7

Thanksgiving Weekend

Spent 4 nights over Thanksgiving. Great communication with the host. Nice quite neighborhood, and the yard is fully fenced, we brought our dogs. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was cleanliness of the carpets and the sofa., should be replaced soon.

Wonderful Stay

We loved this location, it was so nice to be spread out and to have room for 6 of us. It was nice and clean and much much better than staying in a hotel like we normally do. The whole check in and check out process was so easy and convenient. Thanks again for everything!

Gamecocks Weekend

Weekend stay for a Gamecocks game. Futons were reasonably comfortable but not enough linens for all 3 futons and pull out couch. Luckily we had some of our own. Overall clean, nice neighborhood convenient to Williams Brice. Would stay again.

Great place to stay for Family Day/ Graduation for Ft Jackson

Cute and comfy house in a convenient location about 15 minutes from the base with lots of food options around. The hosts were friendly and responded quickly to any questions we had. The listing was very accurate and there were quite a few amenities and toiletries available for use. The price was super reasonable as well. 10/10 would recommend if you’re visiting Ft Jackson or Columbia in general!

Army graduation

Came for son’s graduation from basic training. Location was great, close enough to Fort Jackson and to stores and restaurants. The property was perfect for us all to spend time together. We had no complaints. Highly recommend this property.

Very Comfortable Home!!

This house was very comfortable, clean, and spacious. The bathrooms were very nice, clean, and they provided everything (towels, shampoo, conditioner, etc.) The beds are comfortable and very clean (they even smelled clean!) In general, this was an amazing house. Located at a short drive from Fort Jackson and local restaurants, everything is conveniently at hand. My favorite thing about the property manager is how they like to rent to families with members in the military. They understand very well what a family visiting Fort Jackson looks for and comfortably provides that and more!

Great for what we needed it for

We booked this place to attend a basic training graduation at Fort Jackson. The location is perfect for getting to the base quickly! There are many food and shopping options close to the house, and the neighborhood is easy to get in and out of. If you aren't planning on spending a lot of time in the home, then this is a great option. All the beds were very comfortable. The place needs a serious deep clean (stains on counters, dust throughout the house, furniture needs cleaning) and better property maintenance (missing lightbulbs, dingy/stained towels). It also could have been better provisioned (only 2 drinking glasses but 20 wine glasses, no kitchen towels, only one outdoor chair, dining table was wobbly, rips in the ottomans). Overall this property served our needs pretty well. Thank you!!

Small home but cozy. Had lots of damage prior to stay and the door had the pin lock which died. It was just really small and a lot of lights didn’t work

Clean Cute House

I have never had an issue booking with VRBO until this booking. It required me to send more information in that is already verified by VRBO and was a couple hours process booking the house because of the management company. The house was perfect and great location.

The overall stay was okay. I really liked the fact that my dogs were allowed. When we arrived I opened the cabinet and a roach jumped out. It ran and fell on the side of the stove so I wasn't able to kill it. Then my husband went to take a shower and there were termites or some sort of bugs in the bathroom. Called and was told to send photos, I did. Was told that housekeeper would bring bug spray and they would call to send terminex out. The housekeeper took 2 days to come with the spray and terminex never showed up my whole stay (7 days). Then I was cooking for memorial day and had food on the counter and a roach ran across the counter. I killed it and sent photos again per request. Nothing was done about the bugs other than bug spray sent late. The rooms and overall presentation was decent, but furniture is a little dated. Beds were comfortable, internet really slow.
