Hermosa frente al mar 1 cama 1 baño, segundo piso condominio

Gene y yo vivimos en Portland, Oregon. Primero vinimos al Kulakane para nuestra luna de miel en 1987 y eso hace que este sea nuestro hogar de luna de miel. Nos encantó Hawai y regresamos a menudo a The Kulakane y a otras propiedades e islas. Seguimos regresando al Kulakane como nuestro favorito y. Finalmente, compramos nuestra propia casa aquí. Nos encanta y atesoramos nuestras semanas en Maui cada año. Gene es un educador de salud retirado y soy dueño de una agencia de bienes raíces en Portland, donde ayudamos a las personas a comprar y vender casas todos los días.

Lo que más amamos es que nuestro condominio está justo en el agua, frente al océano ya pasos de un paseo por la playa. Nos gusta estar en el segundo piso para privacidad y seguridad y una vista más directa del agua. No nos gustaría pasar nuestros preciosos días en el Paraíso en cualquier lugar que no sea frente al mar / playa. ¿Por qué más estar aquí? Visitamos los grandes complejos turísticos cercanos para tomar cócteles y cenar, y con mucho gusto regresamos a nuestro condominio más pequeño, más íntimo y con vista al mar que nos pone directamente en el agua. ¡La proximidad al océano es lo que más buscamos!

También nos gusta cocinar y estar en casa, por lo que la cocina está totalmente equipada con todas las herramientas útiles y necesarias. El lanai es nuestra sala de estar al aire libre. La vista es impresionante. Cenamos aquí, jugamos y leemos, trabajamos en nuestras computadoras y entretenemos a los amigos. Nunca dejamos de disfrutar la vista al mar y la brisa cálida.

Espero que disfrutes nuestro pequeño pedazo de paraíso tanto como nosotros.

The grounds are well kept(although I miss the beautiful Japanese garden} The unit 213 is always clean and the utensils for cooking are more than adequate. However,the stove needs replacing. Debbie Reynolds is an excellent manager,and is vey helpful. As is Tony her partner. I have recommended the Kulakane to several friends. Hope to be back again next year

Our first visit to Kulakane Condos

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great experience at Kulakane. Debbie Reynolds rocks at customer service. Her pictures of our unit were perfect. WYSISYG. I think we took more pictures from our Lanai than any other locations. We saw dozens of Humpback Whales. Several breaches. Classic views of flukes. One displayed continuous tail slapping behavior. Sea turtles fed within 10 yards of the seawall. One night I got a beautiful picture of the moon's reflection on the water between the palm trees. Everyone needs to do the Kulakane traditional "conch blowing" at sunset. Everyone we met were repeat visitors. We saved a ton of money by eating most meals using the full kitchen. 45 minutes before we checked out, Kulakane gave us a fond "Aloha" with a very bright full length double rainbow.

Heaven awaits you at the Kulakane

A couple things that impressed me, besides being right on the beach and watching/hearing the waves all day & night, was the cleanliness of the unit. I always judge a place by their paper products too. Good T-paper and kleenex! While it was obvious to be an older unit, it was well maintained and contained everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If you plan to do much cooking, there is little counter space, but our style was minimal so we made it work. The view from the 2nd floor was beautiful, but it also seemed like the ground floor noise funneled up to our lanai based on the style of the building construction. However, it was never too annoying. Pool was quite small but there were a couple access points so one could easily swim in the ocean. All staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Great BBQ area and nice place to meet some of the other guests, many of whom came from our home state of Washington. Every unit is dependent on how the owner furnishes, but ours came with snorkeling equipment.....would stay away from Boss Frog if you need to rent. Driving the island was easy with lower limits than we have locally making it less stressful. Do take into consideration the maps that indicate the type of road you are driving on. There can be some extremely narrow, windy roads that only allow for one vehicle at a time. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

This particular unit stays extra cool being on the 2nd floor with a shade tree on the land side of the building really helps. The proximity of this complex to the Farmer's Market grocery store and the Maui Fish Market is perfect. It is also very convenient for SUPing right from the room. The community of residents is welcoming and inclusive, and the management staff is awesome!

first time in maui

Reviewer Comments: Very nice and comfortable condo within short walking distance to shops and restaurants. My husband and I found the ealy morning garbage trucks and traffic noise loud as our units bedroom window was right across from the recycling and garbage cans.The lack of air conditioning wasn't a problem for us as the wind kept us cool. I like to swim but found I cut myself on the rocks a few times as the wind was up and caused the sand to churn up and make the visability poor. We drove to another beach which was not too far to swim and snorkle. the barbques were great, the grounds and laundry room where very clean and tidy. We found the carpets where a bit old so felt a bit grubby and the pillows on the bed weren't that good.We were so lucky to see two whales from the lanai which is unusual in November. The veiws and sunsets where fantasic and not a day would go by without seeing a husband and I thought the bill was reasonable.People looking for a laid back vacation,who happen to be heavy sleepers, would be happy with Kulekane.

The bedroom had a lots of storage including a walk in closet which had lots of items for the beach. One my favourite things bout this place is that the view is in real. The balcony faces the ocean!!! The only criticism I have is that the bed was very hard for my liking.

The staff is friendly and professional, the property clean and well maintained and the view from the lanai was priceless. The location is convenient to all parts of the island for exploring, plenty to choose from for activities, or playing on the beach in front of the resort. Definitely a 5 star experience and location.

I am a mother of 2, grandmother of 7 and Great grandmother of 2 and I adore my family! I encourage them to come see me as often as possible as they all live on the main land. What a place to come visit Grammie and Grandpa, right?

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

There are so many little shops and restaurants within walking distance of the condos. There are also food trucks just down the street from here across from the Times Supermarket, which is less than a mile from the condos. Guests go get their take out food and come back and eat on their lanai's and watch for turtles. Honokowai is a very nice little neighborhood between Ka'anapali and Kahana.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are a small 42 condo complex directly ocean front. Every condo has the same amazing view. You can see Honu (sea turtles) in the surf out front every day and during the whale season, you can watch those play all day as well. We have a Pupu (appetizers, potluck style) party every Friday night at sunset. Hawaiian tradition is to blow the conch shells at sunset every evening to each point on the compass. We do that every evening. It's a very friendly homey kind of place that I think you'll love.
