We walked on the beach, through the charming neighborhood and Fiscalini Preserve. Everyone had their privacy whenever they wanted because of the layout of the bedrooms and baths. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: From the moment you open the doors to enter this beautiful property, you are greeted with the beauty of the blue ocean. I've been staying at this property for many years, and it never disappoints. There have been a few upgrades since my last visit, and I couldn't be more pleased. Close locations to either Moonstone Beach or to Fiscalini Ranch for a walk. The staff are always welcoming and the home and mainly its location speaks for itself. I also like that it's one story with a breathtaking view of the ocean. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee or your evening wine. The views from the deck cannot be beat!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This should've been a very relaxing stay. The house itself, the location, the kitchen setup are all great. However, the mattresses and pillows here are extremely cheap. The quality was on par with Motel 6. Thin hard matresses, and paper thin pillows. I even prefer a firm mattress, but this was not that. We both woke with terrible back, hip and neck pain every day. With the price of the nightly rental, we expect to at least be able to get a comfortable nights rest. I sincerely hope the owners replace them for future renters. Also, the couches or rug in the living room need a cleaning. Something in the room smells like urine.

Amazing Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is updated, clean, has sturdy stairs for beach access, and the wall to wall windows allow for an amazing view. We had a lovely time and this will now be our go to summer beach rental. Please note to those with young children, we would recommend taking them to the calmer San Simeon Beach for swimming. We have older childer, who are strong swimmers, and they did enjoy the wildness of the ocean at this location.

Beautiful Location - Poor Experience with Management

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay, but I urge anyone considering this property to be extremely thorough upon arrival. Make sure to inspect the property carefully and document any damages with photos immediately. The vacation rental company relies heavily on their housekeeping staff, and unfortunately, if they identify any issues after your stay, you may be held responsible—whether you caused the damage or not. As a property management company owner myself, I know the importance of documenting verifiable damage both before and after a stay to ensure fairness.Additionally, we were unable to use the grill because it wasn’t cleaned properly, and the propane tank was nearly empty. We reported this verbally but were later told it wasn’t documented, leaving us in a difficult position. Always report any issues in writing; otherwise, you risk them not being addressed, which happened in our case. To make matters worse, they even suggested we weren’t being truthful, which is deeply unsettling.Though the property is beautiful and we enjoyed most of our stay, I can’t say I’m confident about returning. I don’t feel valued as a guest, especially since Breen has not reached out to turn the experience around. As much as we loved the place, the lack of accountability and customer care leaves me hesitant to come back.

Beautiful home/close to Moonstone Beach/Amazing Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed 8 days and loved every second of our trip. Getting to the beach is an easy walk down one flight of stairs and on the beach you are! The kitchen was wonderful to cook in. We cooked most of our dinners on site which was so easy to do. Plenty of dinner ware, pots and pans and glasses. The outside BBQ was clean and excellent which we used about 4 times. Everything was provided for in the home including washing machine detergent. The balcony and outside patio was excellent and very enjoyable. You can walk to Moonstone Beach and enjoy the beach area there along with all of the wonderful restaurants. You can even walk to the town of Cambria in literally 10 mins max. Would definitely highly recommend and would stay here again. There were 6 of us total and we had plenty of room to spread out.

The house itself needs some maintenance and updating. We we there for a week and went out to eat for only one lunch. The pots and pans are old and nasty looking or slim pickings. There are plenty of sheets but the comforters need to be replaced. The one in the back bedroom looks pretty dirty. This was our third time staying at this property. As I said at the beginning the view can’t be beat.

Reviewer Comments: It starts with arrival, get keys and a new fantastic wine-J Dusi-2020 Model M-(we bought 5 cases)-Then Jackie is called over to explain the "dueling TV remotes" to the most gadget challenged man in the State...note:one of several trips but she was always patient and friendly.Next the 2 window washers showed up on time and did a perfect job on all the windows...after all why rent the place if the view is cloudy ?Mid-stay the housekeeper arrived on time, with a big smile and when we returned, she made the house look like a jewel box.Everybody in the office was 100% professional, friendly and responded to whatever we needed & the response was always done quickly.ALL IN ALL AN A+ for everyone--what a pleasure to deal with people with that level of competence and professionalism.WELL DONE !!!!!!!!!!

We cooked all seven days so I would suggest the kitchen could use some new pans, glasses, and silverware. Also my husband uses a walker so grap bars in the shower and by the toilet would have been helpful. The house was clean and very close to town.

Great beach house

Fantastic location. Furnished nicely. We were there for a weekend wedding so didn’t get to enjoy The beach house as much as we would’ve liked. We would like to rent again sometime for a longer stay.
