Welcome to our inclusive, autism- and sensory-friendly desert home nestled near Joshua Tree National Park! Spend quality time with the kids and splash around in the cowboy pool, play mini golf, or choose your favorite lawn game. At night, enjoy the warmth of the recessed fire pit or relax and watch your favorite movie in our movie theater. The space
Spacious and inviting, this entire house will provide you with the comforts of home and a relaxing holiday. This unique, short-term stay has been curated explicitly for families with children on the Autism Spectrum. We encourage our guests to be mindful of this when booking with us:)

The property is nestled among Joshua trees, offering spectacular views of the high desert in every direction. We are a short drive from Joshua Tree National Park as well as Pioneertown, including the famous Pappy and Harriets.

We have also included our local favorite spots in town, as well as instructions on our numerous safety features, to help you relax while spending time with your family. From special sensory lights to covered corners, the owners at @Autxcapes have ensured that the property is well-insulated with safety measures, keeping your family in mind during your stay.

We also have dog bowls available for your use.
The Pet Fee is allocated for 25 PER dog to help our cleaning team.

*BEDROOMS

Guest Bedroom 1 has a queen luxury, hybrid mattress complete with its hallway and en suite bathroom with a user-friendly bidet :)

Guest Bedroom 2 is the kids' room, complete with a full luxury hybrid mattress and two small twin mattresses on the upper bunk. A ladder is kept locked but can be opened by adults to allow kids to access the upper beds.
Plenty of games to choose from, as well as a small ball pit and fun modular furniture. Not to mention a sensory art piece as well as books to entertain the kids. -Did we mention the floors are padded?! Yes, soft and squishy for your socks to enjoy (not your shoe,s please).

Theatre Room features a projector and flat-screen canvas for your favorite movies, as well as plush bean bags (one of which converts to a Queen bed if needed), allowing you to relax while watching your epic film. It also serves as a low sensory area as well :)

Master Bedroom has a king luxury hybrid mattress complete with a 50" Smart TV flat screen with Roku. It also features a small desk and lamp to serve as a working station, complemented by our high-speed internet. The en-suite bathroom features a standing shower and a user-friendly bidet.

* KITCHEN AND DINING AREA

The full, open kitchen is outfitted and newly renovated for you. Complete with a Nespresso coffee machine and accoutrements, the cabinets are protected by specific safety latches for your family, as well as non-breakable utensils. (You will not find glass in the kitchen, and anything sharp will be located in the upper shelves.) We have an inviting open floor layout with plenty of room to entertain, an updated kitchen, and ample sunshine to enjoy!

The new fridge has filtered water and ice on the door for those warm, sunny days. We even have dog bowls and treats for your furry friends!

The connected dining area boasts epic views of the amazing Joshua Trees that encompass the entire property, as well as ample seating, allowing everyone to enjoy a delicious meal together.

*RECESSED FIRE PIT

The private, outdoor fire pit in the backyard is lovely for some intimate evenings with the family while you stargaze into the night. Not to mention, there are some fun, circular swings close by for you to drift off during your superb stargazing slumber.

*MINI GOLF COURSE

In front of the house, you'll find a mini golf course outlined for some outdoor fun in the sun, as well as other lawn games for the family to enjoy. We've also added night lights to the course, so be sure to take advantage of our light-up golf balls!

Guests have access to the entire property and all of its available amenities.

100% of your cleaning fee goes towards our professional cleanings and property upkeep.

*SENSORY SWINGS
We have provided instructions in our house manual on how to implement the sensory swings and gym while staying at the property.

*OUTSIDE GATE ALARMS
We have provided instructions in our house manual on how to activate the outside gate alarms while staying at the property.

*TESLA CHARGING STATION
Please let us know if you'd like to use our charging station. There will be a small daily fee.

* DOGGIE HELP
We have doggie bowls and bags on site to help care for your pets.
1 dog allowed with the included pet fee. If you have more than one dog, there will be a 25 fee per dog. Please be mindful of your pets during your stay:) Never leave your pet unattended in or on the property, please.

With just a flick of our switches, the lights come on.
Two flicks and the sensory amber light goes on.

A $1000 USD fee will be imposed if our cleaners detect smoking on the premises. Thank you for your help in keeping our house smoke-free.
